    By All Means & More
Chris and his team have done an excellent job with every job I've given them. I am remodeling a very old home and there are always unexpected surprises every time we open up a wall to do something else and they are always prepared to handle it. Chris is very conscientious about staying on budget and I can trust his crew inside my house. I think that dogs are excellent judges of character and both of my German Shepherds absolutely love all the guys on his crew which is really all I need to know about their character.

    DiNardo's Flooring
I had three bedrooms carpeted with the same style carpet. The rooms are small and contain heavy furniture . There were minor scuffs very low in a few spots and zero damages. There was very little extra carpet left post installation.

    DiNardo's Flooring
Everything went well, from choosing the floor finish to prepping the area to the actual installation. Mike and his crew have been doing this a long time, and the proof is in the quality of their craft as well as their overall professionalism. The job was done in a timely fashion, and the price was competitively reasonable. They also went above and beyond what was expected of the job and paid particular attention to what I would consider to be minor details. I would recommend them to anyone looking for new flooring and would definitely consider working with them again on any projects in the future.

    DiNardo's Flooring
They moved all furniture took out all carpet and laminate. Great job, they also put new back splash tile in kitchen. I did not have to tell him what to do, just pick out colors. One day we had to leave early for a Dr.s app and left them here to work. They locked the house up and everything was great.

    LOWE'S
I am very impressed with my experience with Lowe's and the wonderful people who represent and install for Lowe's. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable and went out of their way to help me get the look I wanted to achieve. I received several calls from Lowe's checking to see if everything was satisfactory along the way. My floors look great. Will try to add pictures.

    SMITTY'S WHOLESALE CARPET WRHS
Went to the store on March 6th and the carpet was installed on the 15th.  So from start to finish took 9 days.  Another company said it would take 4 weeks.  Was promptly  greeted upon entering the store though the employee was unable to give me pricing information (apparently only Smitty does that).  After spending about an hour looking at all the carpet styles and colors available I set up an appointment for them to measure for the next day.  Unlike some companies, Smitty's offers free estimates.  Smitty called me later that evening with the quote and I ordered the carpet the next day and it was installed the following week. As for the install, I was happy with Tim (Morris) and John.  They were very professional, they spent nearly the entire day installing the carpet (they had some issues with getting the ramp installed appropriately).  The carpeting on the stairs looks great, no ragged edges.  The carpeting along the tile also looks great, you can't tell that the basement floor is/was uneven.  There appeared to be some minor dings in some drywall, but the dings will either be covered by baseboard trim or can be easily patched.

    RITE CARPET & DECORATING
I would definitely recommend this company. Peggy measured my entire house, as I am looking to redo all of my flooring, answering questions as we went. Michelle helped me and was patient and knowledgeble as I was asking questions trying to make decisions on what to choose. They made the process so easy for me. Jake and Steve ( I think was his name) were very professional and efficient and had the job done quickly. I had one small issue I called about later and that was immediately resolved and everything turned out very nice. They really do what they say they are going to do and want to make the customer happy. They have been in business for a long time. In fact, Jake remembered putting in a carpet for me about 25 years ago. They are an asset to our little town of Bridgeport.

    PETERSON'S CARPET CITY
We first went to Peterson's Carpet City in January to look at sheet vinyl for our kitchen. We immediately liked them because they didn't try to talk us out of what we wanted - as other companies did. We also liked the fact that they knew the country of origin of their products - and they carry a large variety of products that are made in the U.S.A. We asked for a "ballpark" estimate for the entire job using a specific product that we had selected. They were happy to provide that for us and they even itemized it to a certain extent and they wrote it down for us on paper. It was a pleasant surprise for us to see  how low it was and we called them back a few days later to tell them we'd like to get going on the job. But we were told that the ballpark estimate was way off and that the actual price was going to be more than double what they had estimated. They apologized for the inaccurate estimate and we told them we'd wait. Next we looked around a bit more and discovered that Armstrong makes a line of Luxury Vinyl Tile that is manufactured in the U.S.A. with raw materials mostly from the U.S.A. -  so we looked for a supplier. Peterson's was the only supplier we could find in our area, so we went back to them. This time we got a full estimate in writing and the owner told us verbally how much it would be. I questioned the owner about how little the estimate for installation was, but he insisted that every job is different. Again, I was pleasantly surprised. After I got home, I looked more closely at the written estimate and could see that he had, in fact, looked at the wrong number: The installation was several hundred dollars more than what he had said. I called and asked what it really was going to cost and (for the second time in a couple of months) he apologized for the inaccurate estimate. Quite honestly I was hoping he would give me some sort of discount - maybe just as a good-will gesture for having twice raised our expectations with really low estimates. But I guess he didn't feel all that bad about having made two such mistakes. Oh well. Despite all the trouble with the estimates, we had them do the job. The installer was 100% professional and always had a great attitude. The floor looks great.  More recently we had a new floor installed in another part of our house. We got an estimate from the Petersons again, but we discovered another independent contractor who gave us a better price - so we went with him.

    Trigg Construction Home Improvement
Great. They showed up everyday for work, did a very good job - on budget, and worked until it was finished. All work was done to my satisfaction. They also did a great deal of work at my parent's house and brother's house (roof, new siding, porch railings, entry door, hardwood floors, fireplace. They did a great job there too.
