    I had a furnace inspection done, and Wayne arrived on time, on a very snowy day. He explained to me what he would be doing and gave me some excellent advice on how to keep my furnace in good shape for years to come. He wore coverings on his shoes and cleaned up everything before he left. I have also used Summers for plumbing work, as well as work done on my air conditioner. Excellent company. Everyone I have dealt with there is very professional and courteous. Will definitely use them in the future.

    I bought a house in December 2014.? Had radon test done, and result was over 6.0.? Seller contacted Environmental Doctor for quote, (Brian Warner) and seller proposed to give us the money and we would have the work done when we moved in.? We agreed. I did some research on radon, and called Brian Warner to tell him that I wanted the system to mitigate the radon under 2.0.?? Upon hearing this, Brian got quite irate and started throwing things out at me such as "that is not what I contracted for" and "in Europe they accept radon levels as high as 40", etc.? My research had shown me that the World Health Organization recommends radon levels below 2, and that systems can mitigate levels very low depending on how the installation is done, size of the fan, etc.??Brian's extreme reaction got me very concerned, so I asked him to come out to the house.? When he arrived, he again got rather irate when he "discovered" that we only have half a basement, and the rest is on a crawl space.? Turns out, he had done the quote OVER THE PHONE, WITHOUT EVEN COMING TO THE HOUSE.? Huge, huge red flag. On top of that, he was not willing to stick with his written quote - we would to pay more. Then he absolutely insisted that the only way a system could be installed was to run the piping up the outside of the house.? Have you seen these?? They are an absolute eyesore.? I myself could pick out several places where the piping could be run inside the walls of our house, through the garage, and then up to the roof level.? He would have none of that.? Our real estate agent was with us, and he also shook his head in disbelief at this man's antics.I was left with the distinct impression that he was out to do the quickest, easiest, and cheapest job he could to maximize his profit.?? And I can only wonder how he got a license from the state.We went with Radon-X, and were extremely pleased.? They did everything right.? They came to the house to do an on-site inspection.? They designed a system that would mitigate our crawl space as well as the basement/rest of house.? Their system is inside the house walls, and exits at the correct level on the roof.? Their system cost only a few hundred dollars more. If Environmental Doctor disputes this review with saying "Brian Warner does not work for us anymore" I would not consider that a valid dispute.? Any company that lets their employees behave in a manner that violates Ohio radon licensing is a company that I would not trust.

    I'm pretty happy with how it all went. I even purchased their "club plan" which I usually never do, because I was just super happy with the service. The service man was clean and neat, polite too. He replaced the thermostat and even did some rudimentary programming on it to get us going.

    Although Brockman and Sons was not the cheapest proposal, it was a little less than midway in the overall range of quotes. Because of the price, Mr. Brockman's straightforwardness, and the reputation of the equipment he sells we awarded Brockman and Sons our business.  The day after we contacted Mr. Brockman and awarded the contract, the Brockman repair technician arrived and recharged our old unit and checked to make sure that it would provide cooling until the install crew could return in 9 days.  The install crew arrived on-time on the scheduled day and worked through the day to remove the old a/c unit as well as the furnace which we also decided to have replaced.  The new equipment was installed and the a/c running by the end of the day.  The following day the install team returned to finish some duct work, hook up and test the new furnace, finish some installation details, and clean up.  The repair technician and the install team were all very courteous and professional in the way they went about their jobs while respecting our property and home.  We were extremely pleased with the installation and the quality and craftsmanship of the work.  After about a month using the new system (and the hottest weather of the summer thus far), we are extremely pleased.  Our home has not been this comfortable since we moved in.  We look forward to a warm, comfortable winter season, too.

    The service was not very good. They did not do anything. It was like a kind of switch of opinion. If they had stuck with their original appointment, come out and looked at it and informed me it won't work. Why was I waiting on the back water if it wasn't going to work any way I did not understand.

    They delayed another job to start on ours when the propane was to be installed. Crew very professional and skilled. It was a large job and took them two days which they had planned. Heat pump works great propane furnace not needed yet. Service was more than another bid and extreme cost was much better.

    Ed's Heating Cooling Plumbing Electric
    Furnace repair, HORRIBLE, guy turned off gas then checked inside. Then forgot he turned it off and said it was broken. Said I need a new gas valve, heat exchanger, vent pipe, and over $1500! Threw him out of my house! Called another company, fixed the fan, $300 and has worked great ever since!! Only problem is after Lynn's fixed it without screwing me, they merged with EDs!
