Every person involved in the project was highly expert, painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, roofing, interior design,etc. The project manager Sergiy came by most days, overseeing and expediting, and addressing any questions that we had. AStone's Construction & Remodeling LLCChad and his team were very accommodating with the design & layout for our custom finished basement. Many details were covered upfront with little if any surprises after entering proposal / contract stage thru project completion. “Cheaper“ is very rarely, If ever, “Better” Please know that integrity, quality, trustworthiness & the number of years a company has been business ARE NOT mutually exclusive! Even simple ConstructIon projects can have a lot of moving parts & demand constant attention and follow up. Stones provided this at every step. In end, you’ll usually GET what YOU PAY for. We hired Stones after doing much research and getting multiple opinions on the best way to tackle our basement project. We have not been disappointed. All Original contracted work was completed on time with only minor delays which were mostly due to the pandemic. Most appreciated was the excellent communication we received from both Cindy & Chad with Bi-weekly updates via email - No one was ever “too busy” to take a phone call or respond to a text. Thank you 🙏 Stones’ Crews were timely, did quality work and handled added design changes on the fly without breaking stride. Too many to mention all by name but we specifically would like to thank Damon, Troy, Beau, Drywall Dave, Jerry, Herb and Sam for exceeding our expectations ... Wow they were all Impressive! Chad managed the entire process very well from start to finish & we simply can’t say enough with the results - We absolutely love our new basement. We’ve received many compliments on our new custom basement and have already referred Stones Construction & Remodeling to others. The installers precisely engineered the pergola to tuck against the existing structure, and under the gutters, making it look as if the house and the deck/pergola were constructed at the same time. ADesborough Construction IncWe worked with John Desborough (Desborough Construction) to finish our basement, including building a custom wood bar with plumbing and cabinetry, a matching wooded booth, and a half bathroom. This was a big project and it was important to us that the work was done right, so we interviewed three contractors. John stood apart from the competition. He spent a significant amount of time speaking with us to understand our goals, and offered suggestions and advice on how to accomplish our vision and improve our design. John’s proposal contained significant detail compared to others. We selected him because it was clear that John understood our goals and was capable of getting the work done right and within budget. We understood exactly what was included in the scope of work and knew there would be no surprises. John did a great job of communicating throughout the project and there were no unanticipated delays. He and the Desborough Construction team worked quickly and kept the project on track. John clearly takes a great deal of pride in his work. For example, although we didn’t specify that the bar top had to be one solid piece of wood, John knew that the bar was important to us and that a solid top would look best. To accommodate the lengthy bar top (which was constructed off-site), John cut a hole in the drywall of the basement stairway in order to get it safely down the stairs, installed the bar, and repaired the drywall during the same day. We couldn’t tell it had ever happened! Throughout the project, John went the extra mile to ensure that our expectations were exceeded and that we were extremely happy with the finished product. We feel lucky to have found Desborough Construction and John will be our first call for any future home improvement projects.- Gayle H.

BSupplies delivered and sat on my roof for 2weeks. Roof was completed in one day but the gutter covers were not done. It took a week and persistence on my behalf to finally get the gutters taken care of a week later. Someone dropped the ball and communications were weak until I got the ball rolling. The job seems to have been completed without complications but it's only been less than a week since completion.

AProject was completed on schedule with minimal contract extras. Bennett completed a full kitchen remodeling. They performed the design, which was reviewed with us multiple times before construction. They demolished the walls and ceiling down to studs, installed all new electrical (including a new sub-panel and lighting), drywall, painted, new pantry, hardwood flooring, tile backsplash, new cabinets and quartz countertops. They were upfront about any Issues that came up during construction and compromised on two contract extras. They did use some subcontractors, but they all did a good job. The project manager and construction manager were both responsive to our communications.

ABrian was awesome. I don't know how I could say enough good things about him! He came out and found a tiny hole in my roof about the size of a penny. We have no idea what caused the hole, but something small must have been traveling pretty fast to cause the hole.. He was very kind and helpful even though his company no longer travels to our area. He put a patch on the roof without even charging me!
