    Mike's Hauling Services - (440) 371-3319
Mikes Hauling service was excellent. They removed items from my storage unit that I no longer needed. What looked like an impossible job turned into something very simple with Mike and his crew. They arrive a few minutes early and waited for me. They completed the job within 1 hour. They were very friendly and professional. I would hire them again!

    Neatnics The Home Repair Co
I called Neatnics Home Repair Company on 9/28/15, to do some handy man work around my house. At that time I asked how much did they charge per hour.  The nice young man said that they charge $145 for the first hour and $90 per hour for each hour that their company are in the home.  I had two faucets installed, one faucet fixed, cleaned fan cover and a cabinet in my bathroom installed and I wanted a toilet in my upstairs bathroom installed.  Toilet could not be installed at that time, just the old one removed because the floor had to be repaired first.  They did haul all old materials away.  On 10/5/15, two guys showed up to my house.  They were the nicest most polite men.  Very professional, well dressed and just real nice to even talk to.  Both of the guys did an exceptional job with what I wanted them to do, and I do appreciate that.  One of the young men even went back to the store for me to exchange one of the faucets that did not have everything in the box.  You just cannot beat that kind of customer service.
My only complaint is that when I was initially told over the phone how much it was going to cost to do the job mentioned above, I did not know that I would be paying for each man that was in my house the same price per hour.  It was just the two of them, but I paid $717.75 for the job.  One guys hours was 4.75 and the other was 3.50.  I was charged for 8.25 full hours all together.  One arrived at 10:45 am and the other at 12 pm.  Both left at 3:30pm.  10% was taken from the total charge.
One reason I am sending this note is because my husband is still having a problem with the amount charged.  He thought that it was not fair to quote a price on the phone, then the amount is different when it is time to pay. I did not know that each service tech would receive $90 per hour.  I had to pay them once I saw the receipt stating that both get paid per hour.
I just don't want this to happen to anyone else.  Please ask if the charge is for each service tech that enters your home.  If I would have known that it was for each service tech, I would have continued searching for other options.
    Thank you for your time.
    Have a good day!

This was the 3rd reschedule.  The first time they unable to do it because we needed things removed from the loft in the garage because they are not equipped with ladders.  We did not own a ladder.  We acquired a ladder and

rescheduled but they were unable to come that day, and called to ask if we could reschedule.  We agreed.  They arrived two hours later than originally. scheduled, but they did call me, and explained that they had spent more time on the previous job than expected  ,There were a number of call- offs, and they were shorthanded.  They hadn't even had time to eat .lunch ,but they were

    on their way.

They arrived about 40 minutes later than their stated arrival time. When they arrived they went right to work.  They removed a few items from the basement, and they started on the garage.  When I explained what I wanted removed, I was informed that if the items went over a certain area within the truck, I would to pay an additional amount to my $69.00 coupon.  My items filled their truck so I owed another 120-160 dollars.  I'm not sure of the exact amount because I don't have access to my paperwork right now.  When I ordered the coupon, there was no way I knew what amount the coupon would cover what vs.

what amount of material needed to be hauled away.  Luckily, I did have some extra cash.  The young men did a great job, and cleaned up nicely.  I would use them again even though there were scheduling problems and I paid more than expected, but they did a great job.

The same week the team was scheduled happened to be a huge storm that  flooded most of the east side. Not realizing the effect on their schedules when I purchased the junk removal. I left various voicemails to confirm the date and time. If they had bothered to respond I could have rescheduled to a later date. By the time the company called back to confirm I had everything in place to be moved. I was not there when they arrived so they referred to my husband for instructions. Everything I mentioned in the email I sent prior to the date was confusing to the team lead and he disregarded anything my husband said. instead he called me on the cell phone for small questions that required common sense and could have been answered simply by my husband. They were exhausted, argumentative and wanted to charge extra for the organ removal. Finally they got everything in the truck and called me yet again to tell me they were going to wave the extra fee.

I'm sure in better circumstances the team would be more professional, but I doubt the team lead would have any more sense.

If I need this type of service again I will look for another company.

It went excellently.  I was given a courtesy call when the workers were on their way to my home, which was much appreciated.  The workers made sure they understood what I needed hauled and were quite professional in their interactions with me.

I was very pleased with the job they did. They were done in a couple of hours. We could hold a dance in my basement! My only complaint is that, in moving the appliances, they chipped woodwork and put four small cuts in my fairly new linoleum floor, which I didn't notice for a day or two.
