Even though we signed the contract and made a down payment in Jan 10, 2019 we were told, up front, that our bathrooms would not get started for several months because the best guy for the job, George Rager, was working on another job. We were fine waiting for the best guy for the job because we wanted the job done right! The job was started April 15, 2019. Once the job started, George was here everyday through the week working hard measuring, cutting, redirecting water pipes, setting schuster board, ceramic and porcelain tile to create bathrooms that were both beautiful and functional to our needs. My husband and I were both impressed with George and his workmanship and work ethic. George was very meticulous with his work and took pride in a job well done. He asked our input along the way to ensure we were getting what we wanted. The end result was absolutely stunning! We love both bathrooms! We liked that the company commits to working one job at a time and stays on the job until it is completed. Thanks George for your great work! We miss you George!

    Bates Electric LLC
Baron Bates (the company's owner) personally quoted and worked the job along with a helper. Both of them were on site for an entire day to finish the job. During the process, they found and fixed several hidden electrical splices that I had not known about. Even though the house is currently undergoing a massive renovation (read: severely torn up), they took the time to clean up and answer any questions that I had. They took the time to make sure everything was correct and neat, which is the true testament to the level of professionalism that you get with Bates Electric

    Handyman At Your Command
The worker who came out was excellent. However, the actual management office was not the best in dealing with the contract. I’ve used them at least 3 times. He was very professional and he knew what he was doing. The negative that stands out is just the lack of upfront communication in terms of pricing. I discovered that I was double charged for the work until I saw my debit card receipt and nowhere did the manager mentioned that there was an extra charge or she said that she thought she told me there was an extra charge but never did. It’s not the most accurate in professional. I’ve had maybe 2 different workers and the quality of work they do it realty good. It’s just that I don’t know if they are slow on purpose sometimes just to get the extra money or what but I don’t have a good feeling about how that process works but the work is good. There’s no question about that. The quality of work is great. The workers are on time every time.

Job start was about 2 months later than original date provided when the job estimate and contract was made. However, once started the crew was very punctual and worked on our job every day (except weekends) until completed. The job was completed in the planned 3 weeks as scheduled.  The work crew, lead by George Rager along with Todd, Dave, and Jim did excellent work from teardown to completion.  The designer Mike Mergler and Brian Harrison also provided excellent service and coordination of the work. We are very happy with our new shower, bathroom and closets.

Superior Lawn Care & Home Improvements
met Donnie and his crew at Lowe's to pick out paint, kitchen cabinet, sink, stain, etc.  I paid for the materials separate from his work, this amounted  to $957.  His work was $850.  He loaded up materials and came to my house and started right away and from 9-6 worked right through.  Even took thrash out of a closet and fixed clasp on door in addition to work.  Beautiful job, new lights in bedroom ceiling , stainless kitchen sink and new cabinet.  I will replace other kitchen cabinets later--had only doors replaced on old metal cabinets years ago, and the metal cabinets are rusting--which I didn't realize until put in sink and its cabinet. The mist green for my rooms upstairs is great.  I was surprised that I was able to get electrical work as well as painting, sink put in etc. in one day.  I definitely will have him come back to do much more things that need to be done--haven't even thought about basement yet, but will have to wait till my next income tax refund, if any.

Never received a quote for the outside light pole repair. Left the light switch by my front door in a not working order. The light on the inside of entryway was working before he came and it does not work now. I will have to hire someone else to come and fix it. The main reason for the visit was to fix my outside light pole. The $65.00 I paid for 1 hour of work and all I had to show for it was he used the new light switch I had already bought and replaced the one in my bathroom.

Donnie and his group were wonderful.  They arrived promptly, worked hard until complete and left the area clean.  The group even met me at the store to transport the door to the house because I didn't have a truck.

We had used their services last year but had lost the record. I selected them from Angie's list and am glad that they turned out to be the same company.
The job was to install the bedroom ceiling light. I got the call back a day after leaving the message and everything after that has gone very well. The two installers showed up within the given time window, they were very professional and polite. They finished the work in about one hour.
Wheeler's first hour and minimum rate is $125 and subsequent hours are $90 (I think). My suggestion is that if you can, combine multiple tasks to lower the overall cost.
We are very happy with the job done.

These guys were great. Showed up early, performed all of the work as described, and even stayed late to make sure they got to everything. Very professional and did a great job. Highly recommend!
