    SAW Enterprises, Inc.
Morris Home Furnishings set up the contact and SAW Enterprises called to schedule an appointment. They were friendly and professional and the repair person showed up on time and did an excellent repair job. There was no cost for this repair as Morris Home Furnishings contracts our repair work for newly delivered furniture.

    MORRIS HOME FURNISHINGS
The only moderate surprise was that I was using 60 months same-as-cash financing and the lender requested I pay 25% or the purchase price up front and allowed me to finance the rest. We negotiated somewhat less than a 25% down payment, and arranged for free delivery and setup. The delivery personnel were on time and professional and repaired two small scratches in the DR chairs on their truck. I later noticed a small scratch in the Curio Cabinet and Morris sent someone to make the repairs within a reasonable amount of time convenient to my schedule.

    Beckett Furniture Repair
Mr. Beckett did a first rate job stripping the finish off, while not dissolving the glue joints that held the frame together. After a light sanding, I was able to finish it in the proper stain color. I was very happy with Mr. Beckett's work.

    Berger's Table Pad Factory
I was impressed. My table has two drop leaves and three extensions. I measured as instructed and sent in the forms. They called to make sure they understood the table structure. They explained that I could reduce the number of pads I bought by getting a double & a single, vs three singles. I ended up buying the storage bags with them. I would definitely use them again.

Repair was quick and very reasonably priced. When he brought it back I could not tell where the damage had been the repair was done so well. We will be using him again to repair the dining room table (repair a 'dent' in the wood that I, not the moving company, caused).

Commission Selling: We took some items in from my grandmother's estate in. They were very, very particular (understandable) about items and took very little. The items (mainly glass) were good quality and were washed prior to bringing them in, but they had us wipe them down again. It wasn't a bad interaction, we had just expected, based on what items were in the store, that more items would be accepted. And that the pricing would be a little better. It wasn't really worth the time we invested. There are other places who will take more items but may take longer to sell. Look around. We did go back in and buy a beautiful hutch the next week. So I'd suggest it's a better place to buy than to sell.

    1. The sales person was very nice and made good suggestions on our purchase.

    2. BIGGEST complaint is that the store is NOT handicapped friendly:

    a. closest handicapped parking was 2-3 aisles out from entrance while non-handicapped was much closer and accessible

    b. closest handicapped parking was 5-6 aisles out from the exit while non-handicapped was much closer and accessible

    c. no wheelchairs were available within the store

    d. for even those who brought their own wheelchairs, many of the main aisles were blocked with boxes or other merchandise -- I and several others had to back out and re-route several times through the shopping area

    e. The elevators are not well marked and it is not clear which go up (only) and which go down (only) -- this required re-routing to find the right elevators (we went back to the one that we had used to go to the second floor -- it would not go down)

    f. To make your way out of the store, you have to walk completely through the store (a second time, I might add because of how the elevators were configured). We asked several sales people if there was a shorter way (I am on a cane with painful knees) -- some were surly, one was completely incomprehensible because she muttered and, on the 4th person, we finally found someone who took us through the employee door that got us to the foyer and out.

I had a little difficult time getting hold of him in the beginning.  He told me he was sick for ten days.  Once we connected, he was WONDERFUL!!! Worth being patient.  He did an excellent job. He even delivered my chair to me free. I think he gives 110%.
I am going to use him again for my other two chairs. Very sweet gentleman.

    Beckett Furniture Repair
Beckett sent a repairman to my home. He evaluated the piece and gave me an estimate. He transported the piece to their workshop, and returned it when the work was done. The bill was slightly less than the estimate. No one could tell the piece hadbeenrepaired, it looks wonderful.

Spoke with them several times via email, emailed photos of furniture, they gave me a rough estimate based on the photos, then dropped off fabric samples, once I had chosen the fabric, he double checked that it was in stock and let me choose a date for them to pick up the sofas.  He estimated a two week turn around and they were done within that time.  He was always very flexible in scheduling, very responsive to emails and very punctual.  My 18 year old Chesterfield sofa and loveseat look like new again, thanks to Battagaglia's!
