  DogTropolis

  I have used DogTropolis for the last several years for both short and long term boarding. Every experience has been great. I strongly recommend DogTropolis. DogTropolis is a welcoming place for dogs. The business is large enough to have a nice facility with strong processes and procedures in place, but small enough to offer personalized care. The building is always spotless. It is safe and secure. Dogs are pre-screened for temperament. Vaccinations must be up to date. Connie, the owner, is actively involved in the business and her staff is competent and friendly. Most importantly, they know and care about the dogs that they watch and you can tell that the dogs really like them. When DogTropolis was first recommended to me by a good friend, I had two dogs. Molly, a black lab, was around 14 years old and Maggie, a Jack Russell terrier, was around 10 years old. Molly has since passed away at age 16, but Maggie is still going strong at age 13. Every time Maggie goes to DogTropolis for boarding, I bring the same blanket and stuffed animal. Maggie now knows that when I get the blanket and stuffed animal out, it is time for Dogtropolis. She gets visibly excited. When we arrive at DogTropolis, she pulls on the leash, all the way from the car to the entrance. Once inside, past the security gate, and unleashed, she runs into the back room with not even a goodbye. She can���t wait to play with the other dogs. When I pick up Maggie, she is clean, energetic and always a little hoarse from barking with the other dogs. When she gets home, she always has a good long nap. When I leave Maggie at DogTropolis, I know that she is going to get the same level of care that I give her and that she is being watched by people who care about her and understand the needs and limitations of a 13 year old dog. I also know that she is going to have a good time. DogTropolis is special.

  The Barkley Pet Hotel & Day Spa

  They do a really nice job of making sure he is all cleaned, and groomed up. I don't know how he responds, I have never seemed him groomed. He is nice and cleaned ,and looks better than before. He seems happy afterwords.

  Shampooch

  Shampooch was Chewy's groomer for a year while we lived in Columbus.  He received his first grooming experience with them and we were hooked.  Unfortunately, we moved to Cleveland and tried several groomers. None could compare to Shampooch.  Every time we planned to be in Columbus we took Chewy there.  He smells good 3 to 4 weeks after his appointment.  Not sure how they do it but they are WONDERFUL.  My dog loves everyone there and they show love to him and all the other fur babies.

  Celtic Roofing LLC

  Very professional and a great experience. Greg gave us an estimate that was within our budget and scheduled the work for a week later. He was also a huge help in picking out the color of single we wanted by giving us locations of house we could view which was very helpful as we were unsure what shingles we wanted. He also showed us all of their insurance coverages which was very important to us. The crew came in on time on the scheduled day and and finished in two days. The did a great job of cleaning up, when the left us house all they left behind was a new roof. Also our roof is very complicated and steep. I would highly recommend Celtic Roofing.

  HOUND'S HAIR

  Everyone that works there is always very friendly. Kim always grooms my dog and I am always pleased with the result. We are getting another wire fox terrier in April and I will definitely take her there too. I would recommend them to everyone. Thumbs up!

  PARAMOUNT DOG TRAINING

  We live right by a school and a park and have lots of activity on the sidewalks up and down our street--kids, bikes, dog walking, cars, joggers, squirrels etc. and I always felt comforted that our dogs over the years were typical Golden Retreivers--friendly, laid back and easy going.  Then we got Teddy:  a  Golden on the outside but not your typical Golden temperment.  He was cute and loveable indoors but outdoors he was a hot mess-- anxious, distracted, hated other dogs (except for our other Golden who is older), and once he was outside, wouldn't listen to a word we said.  He would try to drag us down the street to chase other dogs or cars.   It was scary.  I had tried other dog training classes elsewhere including clicker training and a special class for dogs who were reactive to other dogs.  He was the only dog in that class that had to have a partition around him so he couldn't see the other dogs in the class!  That was sad.  Then a few months ago, my sister got a puppy and it was imperative that Teddy and we get it together for the sake of family get togethers and vacations.
  I called Paramount after reading the reviews on Angie's LIst and am so glad I did.  Mike came out to our home to assess Teddy and really seemed to "get him" right away--we thought that the assessment was spot on.  It is true that a lot of dog training is training the owner.  I learned a lot--to be more confident and clear in my commands, follow through after giving commands and try to time my reactions to what Teddy is doing so he knows exactly what is acceptable and what is not.  Mike saw that Teddy clearly needed different methods than those which worked on our other dogs--Teddy was not a dog who was going to respond to treats or a happy praising voice--he needed more firmness and some different equipment. We did invest in a remote collar--but one which has a gentle "page" vibration rather than a shock.  It feels like a cell phone vibration.  Mike taught us how to use it and Teddy caught on right from the start --like over a couple of days--and it just redirected his attention when he would be ramping up with one of his previous triggers.  With Mike's help, I'm glad to say that Teddy can go for walks, ignoring the bikes, cars and other dogs going by--it is unbelieveable how much he has changed!  He looks at me all the time to hear what a good dog he is.  The doggie drama at the fence has stopped . He's happy to be part of the world outside our backyard.  I am beyond satisfied and thank Mike, who is a dog whisperer--Teddy really responded to him from the very first meeting. Both of our  dogs were REALLY good around Mike--he made them look like geniuses.  Good thing we did this training--toward the end, due to a family situation, we had to take care of  my sister's puppy--a big, energetic 4 month old Bernese Mountain Dog--for 5 days.  Teddy did great! He was still a little wary, but was calm and we had no bad behavior.    And the puppy had a great time.  
  It was a lot of money to invest in dog training but it was absolutely worth it because it worked. Whew!

  Barking Broadway

  they take great care of our doodle.  cut is what I want, the way I want.  they keep good records and review each time to be sure they get it right.  Which they do.  Our dog is relaxed when he leaves and he doesn't freak when we get there.  The cost is fair for the high quality work that is done.  Bear gets done every 4 months for the last 2 years and we are always pleased.  My only critisism is they dont take credit and I have to go get cash or bring checks (I rarely use checks) which is  a pain in this debit credit world. I used several local grooming salons at the various pet stores and there is absolutely no comparison Barking Broadway wins ahands down in looks and care overall care of our pet.

  Our dog returned home - happy as always - a follow up report was sent via text regarding the walk. We have used Safe At Home for the past 7 yrs + The company is very professional , honest, trustworthy, punctual, loves & understands dogs and our dog loves them!!!

  K-9 KINGDOM

  Our Beagle, Pauli, loves to visit Canine Kingdom.   They love dogs and understand how to work with them.  The dogs are always attended, with someone always there overnight, should there  be  boarding visitors.  Pauli doesn't look back when he's dropped off.   He just wants to play with his buds, so you know this is a happy place.

  GREEN ROAD ANIMAL HOSPITAL

  The vet I go to is Green Road Animal Hospital. I give them an 'A' and I have been to other vets. I had a dog at times and I trust Green Road and they are close by with conveniences. I definitely will continue to use them.
