Excellent job done! The house looks so good, almost like new. These guys not only did a great job but were easy to work with and very professional. I highly recommend them...and will be contacting them again in the spring.

    Lyons Painting
Strange experience, as it wasn't quite what I expected. Lyons Painting took a few weeks to respond to my email, but super friendly and fit me in faster than I thought. Thought they would show up with a guy to pressure wash trim before starting to paint next day. Showed up with 3 guys to pressure wash and cleaned the entire house top to bottom spotless. Looked brand new. Came back the next day later in day due to weather, but showed up with 4-5 guys and worked very quickly and finished in 5 hours. I thought I'd get the second floor areas completed, and they painted the entire back of the house, sides and second floor of the front. More than expected, but I had 5-10 hours of time left out of my 40 when they started packing up. Happy they finished so much, but would have had the entire house done with 40 hours total. The owner compromised and finished the front soffit and it was hard to be disappointed when they went beyond my expectations. Some areas needed a little touch up, but was happy with the job they did, the cost and the politeness of the entire crew. No bad language or disrespect by anyone, and they worked hard. They certainly give you what you give them. Well done guys.

We called for a quote, asking specifically if they also did the eaves trough, and they called back within a half hour and gave us the quote for the house and eaves trough. He said he pulled up a picture of our house online and quoted it that way. We were a little uneasy about this because our house is a Cape Cod in the front, but the back is a full-size two-story house. The quote sounded reasonable, so we hired them. They came out within a few days, and were actually early. The two-man crew was very nice and friendly. They immediately told my wife that there was a problem, that they may not have enough hose and asked if they could use our hose, which was fine and they did. When they were done, my wife went out and looked at the work with them, although that was her idea, not theirs. A good part of the eaves trough was untouched, including one of the end caps which was still black with dirt and mold. When she asked about that, they told her it was "staining" that wouldn't come off. On the side of the house that was the worst, with the most mold, they told her they couldn't get some spots because the slope of the land made it unsafe, so the bottom half was done, but not the upper half. The dormers on the front of the house are done, but there are places that were missed. Unfortunately, I wasn't there or I wouldn't have paid them the total amount. I know that the eaves troughs can be cleaned better because I did them last time, and got almost all of the mold off--it just takes a little elbow grease! There are parts of the eaves trough that you can see where they cleaned and it looks good, but just missed another spot further on and left it like that. We expected a professional job because of the good reviews we read on Angie's List, but I could have done a better job myself, for free! Maybe it was just the team we were sent, but we were disappointed in the result. These people were totally unprepared to do the job. They did not have the proper hoses, ladders, etc. Our house is not what you would consider a really large house, so how do they do other, larger homes??

    Cincy Gutter Boys LLC
Perfect. Their website is outstanding and very simple to use. You can get an estimate of the work you want done, on their website. They communicate with you however you prefer (phone, text, email, etc.) I received a text, when they were on their way and also received a text when they were finished. The job was scheduled as soon as the weather permitted. And my house is basically a 3 story house because it has a walkout basement. Not an easy job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Painting went well. There was some misunderstanding about what areas were to be painted. It was quickly addressed and the job was completed. The most difficult issue was selecting the color we wanted. We were handed a color chart with thousands of colors and shades of color. What looks good on a little chip doesn't look the same on your home.

    Queen City Pressure Washing
It went super well! he was quick to help us pick out the best color to go with our house and super informative about each step he took, from the type of bleach he used to which paint/stain would go best for the wood on the deck.

    Queen City Pressure Washing

I had heard about this company from a friend of mine who had used them in the past.

I saw a few negative reviews but what company doesn't have a few ?

they were highly recommended by my friend so I called them.

I was getting ready to list my house for sale and needed the deck washed and resealed

as well as all of the wood siding on the house stained. I called and talked to Bill the owner

and had an estimate in my hand the next day. after getting a few more estimates, I could

not beat the price he gave me.  the deck looked wonderful and the siding on my house looked

new again.  I contacted them a second time to have the same things done to my new house and

again the work was very professional and looked awesome. I would urge anyone to call them

for service and I'm sure you wont be disappointed.

    Classy Craftsmen
Wonderful! I have used Classy Craftsmen before and because they've done great work for me, I called them again. In fact, they had done my exterior painting nine years ago. So it was natural for me to ask them to do it again. I was glad I did! The work was high quality as usual. They showed up early each morning and got right to work. They finished all the work within six days, working around some weather. I couldn't be any happier with the quality of the work! They have considerable experience and it shows in their work. I highly recommend them.

    Deck & Fence Renewal Systems

DRS was very easy to work with.  Greg provided me a reasonable quote to clean my composite deck (Trex) and I decided to let them do the cleaning, even though I was very hesitant to allow it to be powerwashed.  Even the Trex site suggests against powerwashing, instead recommending a cleaner be applied with a brush.  What drove me to DRS was that I tried to do what Trex suggested, and I used a product called Corte Clean, which worked well, but which required a lot of time and labor.  I personally spent hours on my hands and knees rubbing hard to remove mildew from the shaded parts of the deck.  It was hard work and it would have taken me literally days to fully complete, so I decided to pay a professional to get it cleaned.  That's when I consulted Angie's List and selected DRS because of their high ratings.

I first emailed Greg expressing my concern about powerwashing a composite deck, then  I called him and spoke to him a second time.  Greg reassured me that they powerwash composite decks all the time, with good results.  So, I decided to trust that it would turn out fine and so I had DRS do the cleaning.  While they did a good job, and they were very responsive, timely and did the job within a week of my acceptance of their proposal, I was not as satisfied as I was hoping to be.  Yes, the deck is clean and clear of mildew and dirty spots -- no issues there.  However, the deck "finish" is no longer uniform as it was prior to the cleaning, and parts of the deck looked washed out.  It appears there were parts of the deck that required stronger spray than others, leading to the washed out look.  The deck looks like it aged another 5 more years right after the cleaning.  Don't get me wrong, I am very happy that it is clean and the mildew is gone.  DRS is a good company to do business with and I would use them again for wood deck and fence cleaning and renewal.  I was just hoping for a better overall result with my composite.  My advice is to tread carefully if you have a composite deck -- other customers with composite decks have been very satisfied with DRS, so perhaps it was my own expectations.  Regardless, I heartily recommend DRS!  They were easy to work with, the deck is clean, and the price was very reasonable.

    Millers Power Wash Inc
We got egged.  It was horrible.  The stains were horrible and turned black.  We tried using a back pack sprayer and that didn't get any of it off.  So about 2 weeks after the incident, we called Miller's Power wash.  They were able to come out at the end of the week.
The house actually had two problems, 2 sides of the house were egged and had horrible black stains and the other two sides are mostly in the shade so they had green mildew growing on them.  I talked to Miller's about both stains.  He was tremendously knowledgeable on cleaners and said he had 3 different ones they could try on the egg stains and also they had a really good cleaner that some scientists had said is the best thing.  I can't remember the details, but it sounded like he knew his stuff.
He arrived on time the day we had decided on and had a whole trailer with soap, water, power washing wands  and ladders.  They sprayed stuff first and then got on the ladders and scrubbed and then rinsed.  I can not believe they got the stuff off.  So they slowly worked around the house getting all the stuff off.  It looks like new again.  And then, just to be nice, he threw in cleaning off the concrete patio in the back because it was stained and mildew-ey.  He had this piece of equipment that he attached a hose too and then walked around the patio.  It only took about 10 minutes and now the concrete patio looks great too.
I could not be happier.  Also, I have a walk out basement so in places, my house is 3 stories high.  And they still managed to get up high and get the mildew off.  I knew it was going to be a challenge but Miller's did a great job and I am thrilled.
