    Bruce D Ryan's Masonry Construction
Bruce and crew did a fantastic job of replacing my failing chimney cap. They were timely, professional and highly responsive. They went out of their way to make sure that the job was perfect down to the smallest detail. I can't imagine working with a better company or getting a better job. Go with Bruce, you won't regret it!!

    Rachel's Cleaning & Services
I first hired them to clean my gutters and they did a better job than anyone else I've ever hired from Angie's List. I then had them come back for some roof/chimney work and also a landscaping job to divert water away from the house to keep the basement from flooding. They are great people, hard workers and the only ones I trust to do work for me. There aren't many honest contractors out there anymore so finding RCS has been a blessing!

    Vonderhaar Fireplace Stove & Masonry
the workers that came to my house were fine. the people in this office have no idea what they are doing. first, a guy comes out, tells me part needs to be ordered, will take couple weeks & they will call when part is in. after 3 weeks, i called office to see if part was in, was told they don't order part unless i call office & order it myself...repair guy doesn't order it. also, that it had to be paid for before they would come back out. i gave them a credit card 12/4 and then they said part was stocked, didn't need to be ordered. a guy came out and installed the part 12/7. today, 12/11, they send me an invoice for the amount they charged to my card on 12/4!!!!

Tim and another guy came out to clean my chimney. While they were here Tim inspected all of them from top bottom inside and out. He showed me picture of my chimney caps and quotes me prices for sealing them and filling some voids inside my fire place that he pointed out to me. He scheduled a second appointment to take care of the additional work. Bill, Tim and about 3 other guys were right on time to do the work and left the place clean when they were done. Good service at a great price, I would definitely recommend Bill and his crew to anyone needing chimney cleaning or repair.

    DBA Gas Fireplace Co
Was having issues withave pilot light staying lit. I thought it needed to be replaced but the owner (who performed the service) said it just needed cleaned. I also complained about cold air pouring in. He stated fireplace wasn't installed correctly and fixed the issues with flexible metal panels. Also the logs and grate were falling apart and he figured out a way to wire them all back together, saving me hundreds of dollars. Service was a $150 and I consider that money very well spent. Can't recommended this company more highly.

The 2 men who came to my home were very nice, helpful, and informative. I had a problem with the door on my fireplace not closing completely, they worked on it until they got it fixed. They told me to call them back if I experienced any more problems. I will definitely use them again!

    Vonderhaar Fireplace Stove & Masonry
The technician was punctual and cleaned the soot out of the unit. He then reassembled the unit and briefly tested it before he left. However, as he was leaving I noticed that the flame was burning way to high and orange in color. I called the tech back in and he confirmed that the unit would probably soot again quickly and that the air fuel mixture was the problem. He indicated that he couldn't adjust the air/fuel mixture and that he needed to change the valve to fix the problem, he estimated the fix at $700. A week later Vonderhaar called and told me that they were not able to find the replacement valve to fix the unit and since it was no longer manufactured and recommended that I consider replacing the fireplace. It is only 6 years old. I made a few calls and was able to find a replacement valve, which I ordered and recieved several days later. I called Vonderhaar to see if they would come out and replace the valve and they quoted me $400 to do the valve replacement. That seemed excessive to me so I decided to check with some other gas fireplace servicers to see if I could find somebody to install the new valve. 2 of the companies I called referred me to DBA and I schedule the repair with them. They were able to schedule me in 2 days. When I told the story to the DBA repairman, he told me that there was a 95% chance that the valve had nothing to do with the problem. DBA came out in 2 days and within 15 minutes found the problem which had nothing to do with the valve. The airflow was being restricted in the unit because the rock in the bed had fallen into the gas dispensing bar and was blocking the airflow. This should have been taken care of during the first cleaning but the Vonderhaar repairman didn't bother to check the gas dispenser for airflow blockages. The DBA repairman told me that given the problem, this should have been one of the first things that they checked and cleaned. The total cost for the DBA service was $150 and totally worth it. I am returning the gas valve which cost $192 and I am so glad that I had DBA come out and service my gas unit. Two important points for consumers to know. 1. Vonderhaar would have replaced my valve for $700 and not fixed the problem. The unit would have sooted up again as soon as I started using it with the new valve. 2. The DBA Repairman told me that the valve in my unit was the most commonly used gas valve and that he could get 100 of them almost overnight. I totally believe him because I was able to order my own replacement valve and I am not in the industry. I would not recommend Vonderhaar for gas fireplace servicing.

    All Seasons Chimney Service, LLC
I made the appointment via Angie's List. Dave replied promptly and set an appointment  for the next week. The process went very smoothly.
Dave was running late the day of the appointment, but called to say he would be a little late. Once he was here he went right to work. He was sure to lay covers on the floor and hallway to keep our home from getting dirty.
He was only here about 45 minute, so the price feels a little high, but he is highly rated and I would rather get quality vs. a lower price.
Dave said he is transitioning his business to a new owner next year. He is being very careful to train this person extensively. I hope his replacement keeps up the good work!

Very nice crew. They were prompt, knew what they were doing. Left my home much nicer looking than when they arrived. Cleaned up and hauled off all of the debris but left the fireplace size wood. Yes, they are on my call back list.

    Outdoor Wonders, Inc
Both the owner and his wife came out and developed an alternate solution to get the chair where I wanted it.  This was clearly service above and beyond what one would expect, since I was the one that didn't measure the opening.  The extra effort was greatly appreciated and I would highly recommend Outdoor Wonders if you have a need for their products.
