    Rippe Brothers Appliance Repair
Joe came to our home to replace the refrigerator door gaskets and check our garbage disposal. He had no idea had to replace the fridge gaskets, so I had to pull up a tutorial on my computer which he referenced several time and my husband had to assist him. It is still not done right and the gaskets rub against each other. I called and was denied being able to speak with a supervisor. We called back because the gaskets started to tear and gave the model number. We called a third time and was told they would call back due to computer issues. They never called back. When we called again they never answered the phone. They also never fixed the disposal which my husband was able repair. The worker Joe never removed his big boots and I had to rewax my kitchen floor because it was so scuffed up.

    A+ Appliance Repair Cincinnati
The following week we never received a call. We called to check on the part and were told that they were still waiting for it from the factory. When we still heard nothing that week we called the repairman who advised us that the person who was supposed to have ordered our part had quit and the board had never been ordered. We had to wait another week for them to get the part in. The following week came and after another call to check on the status we were told that it would be in on 7/19. The repairman did call us on 7/19 to tell us he had the part and would be out on 7/20 from 12-2. My wife arranged her work day around this time, he called at 1:30 to say he was on his way but at 4:00 had still not shown. When I called him back he said he had run out of gas. We had to again arrange our schedules in order for one us to pick up the kids and he arrived at 4:15. Once he started trying to install the new board it shorted out again. It was then that he found that there was actually an exposed wire in the washer that connected to the board and this was the true cause of our issues. He showed my wife the faulty wire and it was quite obvious and visible without having to remove any other parts. The repairman said that he could "maybe" get this wire fixed for us but another board would have to be ordered. By this point we were over 2 1/2 weeks with no washer and being told we would have to wait another week for it to be "maybe" repaired. We also didn't feel comfortable having him repair an exposed wire that could cause a house fire when he did not sound that confident that he could do so. He then told us that we could call his manager and get our money back and then left. He was there maybe a total of 10-15 minutes and didn't really seem all that interested in repairing our washer any further. Based on the information we were provided about the repair of our washer and being told that we would be given a refund we went that night to order a new one from Lower. Had we been given the correct information about what was wrong during the first visit on 7/3 about a faulty wire we would NOT have decided to repair our washer, we would have gone to purchase a new one that day instead. Our new washer was delivered the next day and I place a call to the manager Terry Haynes 7/21. He was quite abrasive and said that he "wasn't going to be S.O.L." He did offer to come out and fix the wire but by this point we already had a new washer based on what the repairman told us and we had already been dealing with this for nearly 3 weeks. He absolutely refused to offer any kind of refund to us. The first conversation did not go well and but I did call him back about an hour later and tried to explain the whole situation again. Terry did agree at this point to call the repairman and to call me back. I have not received a call back. I did attempt to call hime again Monday 7/23/17 but was unable to leave any sort of message.

    The Appliance Loft Llc
REBUTTAL TO COMPANY RESPONSE: As we discussed, only one service rep. came to inspect the dishwasher for The Appliance Loft, not two as they had indicated to you in their reply. A-1 came to check the dishwasher, but performed no diagnostics, including water temperature readings on the wash cycle (which is the issue). We did, however, have an independent and reputable appliance service tech inspect the wash cycle temperatures and found it to be insufficient to what the Owners Manual states. This appliance repair firm stated that the unit needed a control, which can no longer be obtained (emailed service ticket to you in our original complaint). I would like to see the reports from the examination of two completely separate service companies with the same determination that the unit was working properly (as indicated in the reply to you by The Appliance Loft). I did obtain a copy of the A-1 report on May 25th, which says that steam comes out and the dishes are clean. This is not the information that was given to them. Otherwise, we would not have needed them to inspect the dishwasher. The A-1 tech was told about the dishes having to be rinsed before washing in order to be clean. Also, the A-1 tech was told that the pet dishes have to be sanitized before washing or the odor will remain on the dishes. The sanitize mode will get hotter rinse water, but does not resolve the cleaning or odor issue. In addition, Bosch Field Representative, Curtis McNaught as well as the independent service repairman agreed that the dishes should not have pet odor or food on them after washing. Bosch, A-1 and The Appliance Loft have been notified that the dishes need to be rinsed before washing and pet dishes need to be sanitized to prevent odor from remaining on cleansed dishes. All three have also been notified that the wash temps are substandard according to the Operation Instructions guide. None of these issues have been addressed nor resolved. As I also mentioned, I have videos of the refrigerator malfunctions. If The Appliance Loft feels that it took a considerable loss for the refrigerator, it was not due to our returning a defective unit. They could certainly handle this with Bosch. We should not be penalized for returning a refrigerator that was visibly defective - you had to press the water button several times on occasion to get water, received 95% cubed ice for crushed ice, and had higher than normal temperatures for the refrigerator setting (often near 40F or higher). A-1 agreed that the report that they had conducted on the refrigerator temperatures showed readings higher than permissible. A-1 then proceeded to change the front display panel only, which made no difference. Because the repair, made by A-1, did not fix the problem, we believe that this should not be held against us. I can also video the dishwasher water temps, using a Fluke meter, if need be.

    Day's Appliance Repair Co
Day's was able to schedule me right away. From the beginning they seemed knowledgeable and very professional. The service technician was on time; very courteous and did a great job with fixing the problem. I would definitely use them again (but hopefully not for that same problem).

    Rippe Brothers Appliance Repair
Perfect. When I initially called they asked all the info about the dryer model, etc., so they were able to come prepared with the right kit to fix. Arrived on time, price was exactly what they initially estimated, etc. Will use again.

    Mr. Appliance of Cincinnati
It seemed like they fixed it. Something was not right and they had to come back and fix it again. The price was some kind of a special that we got. It was a Big Deal. I remember he was very nice, friendly, and professional.

    Day's Appliance Repair Co
I am really impressed with Day's service. The repairman was prompt and courteous. He found the problem with my washer. Parts needed to be ordered, and I was called as soon as they received them, about three days later. The same repairman came out to finish the repair, but unfortunately found a serious problem with the main power board. He explained the problem, but did not feel it was worth repairing.   He did not charge me for this visit, or for the parts that were ordered.  I just paid for the original service call, and was given valuable advice for selecting a new washer.  I will definitely call Day's Appliance Repair again.

    Jim The Plumber LLC
Since we were without water, it was a bit of a crisis. Jim answered my call after hours on a Sunday and came out Monday morning. It took better part of a day, but Jim got everything back in order. We've used Jim the Plumber for other jobs so know him to be a consummate professional. You won't find a more experienced or trustworthy plumber than Jim. He's top of our list for any plumbing or bath tile/remodel jobs.

We contacted this provider to install security cameras outside our house. We verbally received the proposal estimate and agreed to the work, however on receipt of the written contract we could not agree to the terms.   We decided not to use them because they require a prepayment of 100% for equipment and 50% of the labor.  We were willing to pay a deposit of 100% for equipment but only wanted to pay 30% of the labor as recommended by the local BBB.   We offered to do this, but the provider indicated they always require 50%.

    BA Appliance Repair Svc

Mr. Bigelow came when he said he would ( I was so happy), He was polite and professional. He checked my dishwasher and pronounced it as good as dead. He gave me helpful suggestions for a new one and didn't charge me for his time.

He explained what was wrong with dishwasher and shop vac'ed out the water that he put in the machine, to test it out. He explained he could put a new motor in, but it would be more cost affective to buy a new machine.
