  • I think there should have been a few other things that should have been done, they should have given, they don't know how to tube feed puppies there so I did end up having to take him to my specialist and he spent the night in hospital being tube fed and then he was right as rain so they did give sub tube fluids but that wasn't really enough, what he really needed was to be tube fed and I didn't know how to do that and neither did they.

It was very early in the morning, they let me right in even though they weren't officially open, the doctor got there super fast. They were very nice, they're as accommodating as can be, like I said what he needed they couldn't do that's all.

  • They are wonderful. They are kind of expensive but they were worth it.  I paid $ 365 for the annual check up for the dog and cat with the flee medicine.  They are good, thorough and easy to work with.  They do the job right.  They are a little higher priced than most others.

  • We have two older dogs and the doctors here have been absolutely wonderful.  They got us through Star's surgery.  We continue to go to them for routine needs as they come up as they often do with older dogs.  You can even e-mail the doctor to ask questions.  They also send e-mail report cards on your pet after every visit.  They are truly amazing and we are so happy we found them for our girls.  They really seem to care about their patients and want the best care for them.

  • As I stated, I took my 11 Golden Retriever puppies in for their first shots, exam & microchip.
We started out with all 11 running around and one by one they were weighed, examined, vaccinated & chipped.
I also wanted Dr. Greenfield to tell me which one of the females he thought would be the best pick for me to keep.
This involved taking a close look and sometimes a second look at all the girls. Dr. Greenfield was patient and thoughtful.
He told me exactly why he picked this puppy as opposed to that one.
We just bought a new home with more land for the dogs, and one of my first qualifications was that it wasn't too far from the Clinic.

  • Their specialty is birds. The doctor over there takes care of all the birds at a particular zoo. He is excellent. They charged me $81 a bird. My last interaction with them was very good. The doctor there likes birds and he knows how to take care of them. He is very knowledgeable and has a real sense of humor. I wouldn’t be able to comment on their price since I don’t know what other veterinarians charge. They are really very nice with the birds and their owner. Their responsiveness is very good. If you call them with a lot of questions, they will call you almost immediately or right back. Their punctuality is very good. We are very lucky that we have them here in Barberton. I would use their services in the future too.

  • I called Metropolitan Hospital for an appointment for my birds. However, they do not have an avian doctor so I was referred to BARBERTON VETERINARY HOSPITAL at 4873 Richland Ave. Norton, OH. This hospital treats tropical birds of all types. Dr. Michael B. Selig DVM saw Blueberry and Yellow Bird. He and his assistant were very patient with them. My birds didn't liked being held, examined, weighed etc. The male screeched the whole time; the female gave the assistant a good bite, but the two never got upset. They were very patient. The doctor discovered a fatty tumor in Yellow bird. So he put her dropping under a microscope to check for disease. She was ok, but I was told to get them off of a seed diet. Explanation of this was given to me. (It was this test that brought the bill $38 more than their estimate.)
