    Our heating system is kind of unique. They are one of the few places that have been willing or able to deal with it. Half the time they come out it is the owner who is doing the service. I like dealing with someone who is at the head of things. They seem like good people.

    Excellent Service: I had initially called because instead of cooling my Heat Pump(10yrs old) was heating the house, despite my thermostat being set to Cool. The Technician, Noah knew right away that it could have been 1 or more of 3 potential issues(a competitor charged $79 to tell me that it was not happening while he was there so he could't do anything). Noah explained clearly what the issues were and what they could do to narrow down what the actual problem was. Turned out to be a severe fault on the Heat Pump itself and given the cost, I opted to have it replaced with an Air Conditioning Unit. I live in a very old house with little space the basement, and upon inspection it was determined that the AC Coil was positioned poorly and it would be in my best interest to replace the furnace(19yrs old) also. Mainly due to the power consumption the AC would have needed to cool the air, and the wear it was putting on the system. I was given two options: Leave things the way they were and replace the Heat Pump or Replace both and redo duct work. I opted to have Replace both and redo duct work all at once to save money in the long run. The total job took around 4-5 days to complete, the Technicians were all very courteous and friendly. They explained what they were doing each day and what I should expect as far as progress. The overall process was extremely positive and they were great to work with. Will defiantly be working with them again, they have a customer for life!

    Accurate Heating & Cooling
    Everything went great!  When Mike provided the quote, he said they could do the work the next day; we waited until after Memorial Day. The installers (2) arrived a little after 7:00 AM (we had forgotten to ask what time they would start).  Told us it would take about 8 hours for installation; they were done around 3:30.  Covered the carpet with plastic so they wouldn't get it dirty, even though I told them it wasn't necessary.  No problems with install, except one part was needed but the estimator (Mike) brought the part, leaving the installers to continue working.  The installers were very professional, and the new unit is operating just as I expected/hoped.  Would recommend Accurate HVAC highly!

    Nathan Hutchison diagnosed the problem and replaced a 24V transformer that controls the heat pump gas line. All work was done quickly and when the work was finished, Nathan cleaned up the work location, leaving it cleaner than when he arrived. Before he left, Nathan also tested the operation of the furnace to make certain it was operating properly, and providing the proper amount of warm air to the house and there were no additional problems.

    Nathan Hutchison responded to my call promptly and, by agreement, came to my home the following morning. Nathan arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem and removed and replaced the non-working blower motor. After testing the new motor and the furnace to make certain it was functioning, Nathan cleaned up the worksite and left the area cleaner than when he arrived. Nathan has serviced my furnace and air conditioner in the past and, as he usually does, he checked the operation of the unit while he was here to make certain it was operating properly.

    We called after hours due to our furnance not working.  They came quickly and fixed the problem for the time being.  We also asked for a price on a new unit and after a few phone calls as reminders, we did get an estimate.  I wrote back with some more questions regarding the install and equipment and options and I have never heard back from them again.  I was initially impressed with their responsiviness to the call, but since I am not impressed with their follow up.

    The installation and integration and removal of all packing material and debris was completed in less than one day and went as smoothly as one could expect.  Nathan, who has serviced our unit in the past was the lead installer and with his assistant were able to completer the work quickly and efficiently from the time they arrived in the morning to the time they departed in the early afternoon.  After 2 weeks, we asked Nathan to return to make a slight adjustment to the unit's crossover point from heat exchanger to emergency heat.  He did so and we have not had any problem with the unit since its installation a year ago.  Since the old heat exchanger was out of warranty, we believe we have a good value in the 10-year parts and compressor warranty and the 2-year service agreement with the new unit.

    He blew the fuse and shorted out the system. He had no idea what he was doing, and had to keep calling back to the office for advice. He gave up at about 8pm that night. He had a supervisor come out then, since it was still in the 90s. They got it running again that night, but were supposed to come back to check it all again. I've called 3 or 4 times for them to come for that follow-up service, and always get the response that they will get to us in a little while. I'm not going to renew that service contract with them, based on this experience.

    Quality, honest service, that saved us a lot of money!
    We are in the process of selling our house, and needed to repair a missing "cover" off of our HVAC unit. We received one estimate from a HVAC repair guy who was referred to our realtor by another contractor. He quoted us $205.00 for the repair and a letter stating the unit was functioning properly. Because I am one to get a second opinion, I found the AC Man via Angies list and called him for an estimate. He went out a few hours later and noticed two small caps missing. That was it. He went ahead and replaced the caps and then took pictures for me to see the repair. When I asked him the price, he said I was only going to be charged a service fee since the repair was so minor. He also inspected the unit and gave us a write up stating the unit was functioning as intended. So, my $205 repair with someone else, was really only a $60 repair with Mike. From first call, to repair, and report it was about 24 hours! I can't speak more highly of the service we received! I would recommend his services to anyone.

    Our air conditioner froze up and stopped working on Friday night, so we had to shut it down and let it thaw out before starting it again.  I called Patriot Air on Saturday morning and left a message for someone to call us next week to look at the unit.  They had an emergency number, but I didn't call that number, since our air still worked.  Bill called Sunday and said he could come out Monday to look at the unit since he was working the holiday to try to catch up.  We thought that was great since we would be home on Memorial Day.  He was there for less than an hour and said we had a leak that he would have to come out and find later.  In the meantime, he added two lbs. of refrigerant. 
    This has happened several times in the past few years but after we have someone add refrigerant, the unit will work well for the rest of summer.  I was surprised that we were charged $275 for less than an hour of service.  Every other company has charged $125-$150 to do the same thing.  Bill did explain that the price of the refrigerant has gone up, so that may explain part of the high price.  We may have also been charged for holiday rates, even though we did not request emergency service.  Bill was very courteous, responsive and professional. I normally question unusual charges before writing a check, but for this service I believe we paid for the convenience of having work done on a holiday.   As long as it works well through the summer, I'm not going to complain about the extra charge.
