    QUINN INSTALLATIONS
While installers from all over the country were in town to repair hale damaged roofs and siding we elected to support our local contractors. Quinn provided a reasonable price and time table for the requested work. Insulation was blown into the wall cavities before the first frost which made a significant impact on our comfort. Aluminium siding was replaced the following spring. We were impressed with the attention to details. Our neighbors also noted the quality of the workmanship in comparison to the new siding on their home. We have since hired and recommended Quinn Installations to friends and neighbors for big and small projects.

They came when they said they would and quickly went to work.  Workers were friendly and professional.  They cleaned up when they were done.  All in all it went very nicely.  I would recommend them for similar work.

    A & J Insulation Inc
Brilliantly!!   Jerry had contacted me on 9/3 to give me a proposal for the entire job.  He stated there was a fair amount of square footage to be covered.  Since I had lived there 15 years, the insulation in the house was the original from when the house was built 31 years ago.  He stated at that time that he could get to me in approximately 4 weeks - maybe less.  I agreed with his proposed price for all the work required to be completed, and he said he would get the payment at the completion of the job.  On Sept 9th he called me to say they had had a change in their schedule, and if I would want they could come the next day to begin as he felt it would be a two day job.  I agreed with the change in plans, and since I work 40 hrs/week, I waited the next morning until 9:00 when he stated they would arrive.  His crew was there early, with his crew chief Juan going over the proposal as we had agreed.  He had two helpers with him, and since it was the hottest day in the summer, they were going to prep the needed work on that day, and blow in the insulation the following day.  As true their word, they returned the next day to complete the job.  There was NO mess anywhere.  In fact, I only saw two or three white flakes to prove they had been there.  As I am 70+ years old, there is no way I could have had anything less.  Juan was polite, knowledgeable and professional as I realted to Jerry (the owner).  It was done in a VERY timely manner, and within all the guidelines that I had anticipated.  I would definitely recomment A & J Insulation to anyone in need of an excellent job.  It was with much gratitude that I gave him the check for an excellent  job.

We selected A & J after receiving 3 other estimates. The bid was not the lowest, but we were impressed by Noel's knowledge. Noel helped us navigate the state's rebate program for weatherization. He reviewed the energy auditor's report and performed the recommended work in one day.

Went well.  Guys worked hard and long.  Was slightly disappointed in the cold air insulation because even though the work was performed, I believe it could have been performed better and with more accuracy.

    ON THE JOB
Every experience we've had with Bob has been fantastic.  He does what he says he will and completes each job in a conscientious manner.  In this case he removed an unused dressing table from a hallway alcove, and framed in and finished a linen closet for us.  Work was done on time and within his estimate.  I have such a high appreciation for Bob's work that I have referred him to any number of friends and clients of mine and I will continue to do so.  Thanks Bob!

Home Exteriors Roofing, Siding and Windows
I am completely satisfied with the work this company did. Arrived on time and ready to work. A very experienced crew handled the job with military precision. As the old vinyl came off, new insulation and new vinyl went up. Always courteous, the crew and the foreman kept me appraised of the progress and presented me with options on how to handle certain things. The clean up was done right on time and was very, very complete. The sensibilities of my neighbors were taken into account, too. All in all, a great job!

    COACH CONSTRUCTION
There was a pre-existing back porch room with floor to ceiling windows when I bought my house. However, it had not been originally well constructed, the windows were removable (and allowed rain to come in through screens) and portions of the wooden walls were decaying and rotting. I didn't know just how decayed the walls were and whether the roof and ceiling would be intact. As my father had been a builder, I was very familiar with good and bad construction -- and observing what passed for acceptable construction in this locale -- I was nervous about finding someone capable of providing top-quality construction work. Especially as I was certain the walls and maybe the ceiling were going to be a mess once we actually found out what was underneath. A friend who lives about an hour away had found Coach Construction on Angie's List and referred Rich to me. I didn't know if he would be willing to perform a job this far away, but I called him. He came up, looked everything over, wrote up an estimate, and we discussed what it included. We also agreed that the overall price might be higher if the walls turned out to be as disintegrated as I expected they might be. Rich was easy to deal with and reliable. He shows up early in the morning and gets straight to work. When I got home from work each day, I couldn't believe how much progress was accomplished. Every day, Rich brought his shop vacuum and completely cleaned up spotlessly. I have animals, so it was important to me that nails and other items weren't left around. Every day, he took away the rubble, so I had nothing obstructing my yard or house. There were a few delays, but they were all caused by ordered materials not arriving in a timely manner -- all outside of Rich's control. He shows up when he says he will, he's easy to work with, and the work is absolutely top-notch; and I'm hard to please. I simply won't accept mediocre work that is commonplace today. I would highly recommend Coach Construction to anyone interested in having great work performed at a reasonable price.

    CASUAL COMFORT INSULATION
Our experience was very positive. He was recommended by our FirstEnergy Home Performance with Energy Star (HpwES) program, participating HVAC contractor. This program qualified us for a First Energy rebate if we increased our insulation level to R44 or above. We knew our attic insulation was approximately R30 when our home was built 31 years ago. We observed that the blown in insulation was now visibly compacted resulting in a lower R value. We noted Casual comfort has an A- BBB rating and an A Angies Rating with a 2008 super service award. We obtained pricing from another highly rated (BBB and Angies List) company near our home. Casual Comfort pricing was noticeably lower. Bryan added an additional R38. He also noted that there were several areas where there was virtually no insulation, e.g. above a shower/tub, around a fireplace, above the access door to the attic. We immediately noted that bathroom with the above noted shower/tub was warmer and comfortable. Our first gas/heating bill after adding this insulation was noticeable lower. We felt the insulation in the wall between our house and attached garage had deteriorated. Our concerns were verified. Bryan blew in a large amount of insulation in this wall. The room is now noticeably warmer and eliminated cold spots. We were most pleased with their work. We are probably have Bryan/Casual Comfort upgrade the insulation in our outside walls. We highly recommend Bryan Willi's Casual Comfort Insulation.

    A & J Insulation Inc
The overall experience went well. We checked Angie's list for highly rating insulation contractors close to our home. We also checked BBB. A & J was highly rating in both, i.e. BBB A rating and Angie's list A rating with an award. I was impressed with Noel Cintron and felt A & J would do a very good job. The job estimate was $1715 after the Angie's list discount. We ultimately chose another (BBB and Angie's list) highly rated company because their estimate was noticeably lower, i.e. more than 15% lower.
