    Johnson Home Improvement Services
Dan Johnson was great to work with. He came out gave me a quote of the remodel of our bathroom, gave me a very reasonable price, told me when he was going to arrive, finished my bathroom in the time he told me he would and cleaned up after himself daily. I would highly recommend him and have to many friends.

It went well. Very professional and courteous. Very punctual. Gave me up dates on arrival time. Confirmed the appointment. Asked for feedback on what they could have done better. It was refreshing to have good customer service!

We love our remodel. We needed to update our small kitchen and dining area that were originally built in 1987. We had a design in mind and Janine, the designer, was able to suggest other ideas that helped create a very functional plan with some extra flair which we loved. Their price was very fair based on other estimates we received and the workmanship was very professional. The team they used to build both sections of our place had a plan that helped move each portion of the process through effectively and efficiently. We knew what their daily plans involved as well as the plan for the following day. There were some glitches that occurred, but the trades worked together efficiently to fix things and we were able to move on. The team was here on time each day and we never felt like we were being put out because of the work that needed to be completed. We also found the crew to be very clean leaving us each evening with a liveable surface. Remodeling can be a very stressful experience, but AC&P and their employees made it easy for us to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

    Northeast Ohio Renovations
The project went very well. The contractor knew his business quite well and showed an appreciation for the home owner's needs. Kitchen, bathroom, side porches, door replacement and complete roofing was accomplished in a very satisfactory manner. Several years later shingles from the roofing slipped. I called Northeast and they sent a roofer to repair in a timely manner.

I initially used them in May of 2009 and believed I had a positive experience when they installed a toilet which died in December 2012 due to the type of toilet I chose to purchase being a pressure assisted toilet. However, the afterhours repairman has come to my home several times due to repairs that were not done correctly by the regular repairman. In April 2012 my water tank needed to be replaced and they did not reinstall my pipe correctly. As soon as he left water started to spray out as soon as I turned on my water. The afterhours repairman came back out that night and was at my home well after midnight taking longer to repair the issue than it took to install the entire water heater. It took five hours to get the pilot light lit again because the burner got flooded. The life of my burner was shortened due to that issue. In December 2012 when the initial repairman was back out replacing the toilet there was drip at the water main. When I pointed out that the water main needed fixed he tried to fix it. I went out to the garage and when I came back it was no longer dripping. He told me that he had just tightened it to stop the drip. He didnt tell me that he had broken the water main by using the wrong type of screw and stripping it. He lied to me telling me only the water company could come out to replace the water main because they have to shut off the water from the outside. In reality that was a lie to cover up him having used the wrong screw and stripping my water main. In the unfortunate case I would have had an emergency I would not have been able to shut off my main water valve inside the home. I only found out about this when the water company came out in Feb 2018 to change the battery inside my home for my water meter. By not reinstalling a pipe correctly and breaking a water main valve is just sloppiness. My anger was compounded by not being told that he had broken the water main valve. My being unknowingly left in a dangerous position for five years and that I wouldnt have been able to turn off the main water valve in the case of an emergency is unacceptable. I will never have this company back into my home.

Poorly coordinated job. Instaled wrong water heater. Had problems with the geothermal furnace that they admitted that they were unqualified to repair. Left me hanging to find someone who would work on it. This created warranty problems.

    Sal's Heating & Cooling
They replaced our hot water tank, they did a fantastic job. Very professional they explained everything on the new tank, on time and cleaned up. The price was what they quoted no hidden costs. This is the first time we used Sal's but it won't be the last. I highly recommend them we will be using them also for our heating and cooling needs.

Im very pleased with the company and the service they provided. Calling on a Monday morning, they were able to come to my house in 15 minutes, due to an opening that came up in their schedule. Ryan was polite, checked out the leaking pipe and was able to fix the problem quickly, though it required cutting out the bad section of pipe and soldering in a new piece. Since there was also a problem with my kitchen faucet, asked if he had time to look at it, too. Was able to replace the faucet and let me know a turn off should be replaced, which he did for me. Will recommend them to friends. Local business, fair prices, professional, punctual, friendly. Ryan told me at each step what he was doing and what needed to be done, along with what options were available to me and it was very comfortable having him in my home. My dog liked him and shes a discerning dog! :)

    Sal's Heating & Cooling
We purchased the coupon from Angie's list to have our disposal replaced. Scheduling was easy and the technician showed up on time. He removed the old disposal and installed the replacement. The problem was that when he was hooking the disposal up to the dishwasher hose he did not remove the plug in the disposal that allows the hose to drain in. The next morning when we tried the dishwasher we got an error code and eventually traced it back to this problem. We contacted Sal's - they were unable to send someone over the weekend (we discovered the problem Saturday morning). Someone did finally come Monday and fix it, but overall it was quite a bit more hassle than we expected for a pretty straightforward job. While the company was apologetic they did not offer anything else for our inconvenience.

They came to my house today, within 1 hour of my call to assess the pipes that needed replacing (they had someone already in my area). I had to leave for a couple hours so Brian came back again later this afternoon after I returned and completed the work quickly (45mins or so). He was personable, funny, and very knowledgeable, answering all my questions and giving advice about future potential plumbing issues. He didn't mind that I was hovering, watching his work and asking questions almost the whole time. I will certainly call them again.
