Out of the 3 companies we evaluated and measured against our needs Landscapes by Terra was the ONLY choice for us. Many companies to pavers well, many specialize in pavilions or decks, etc, etc, only landscapes by terra do it all and take all of the risk out of the equation and it’s due to their consulting and engagement process. I rarely ever submit reviews online but this company is more than a cut above everyone else. If you want the job done right and exactly in line with your vision there is no other choice in central Ohio. You pay for what you get. Landscapes by terra came in at a much higher cost of everyone else and we gladly spent the money and we are gladly going to enjoy what they built for years and years to come and we would gladly spend the money again. If you want to have a customer experience that delivers exactly what you vision that is effortless during the production phase then you have come to the right place. They will be the first place I call for anything. They even warranty their work for ten years which is unheard of in the industry!- Mike C.

APitzer LandscapingI cannot say enough great things about this company. Norm, the owner, supervised the entire project in the fall of 2020. He is enthusiastic, energetic, knowledgeable, conscientious, and thorough. He followed up in the weeks after the grass was planted to make sure everything went according to plan and said he will return in the spring to do any reseeding if needed. They started by covering the lawn in high quality soil in which to replant the grass. They also suggested ways to reconfigure the lawn to avoid trying to grow grass in shady areas and artfully mulched the areas where grass would have a hard time growing. The grass grew in beautifully....so bright green and luscious! I could hardly believe it was my lawn! It was incumbent on me to water the lawn regularly after the planting, but that was an easy habit to get into. I couldn't be more pleased!- BETH H.

ALandscape Design Solutions, LLCI highly recommend using Landscape Design Solutions (LDS) for your project. My wife and I went into this project with a general idea of what we were looking for, but Greg provided us with a design that really brought it to life. We walked through the yard - pointing to plants we would like to be removed and asked for some suggestions. Greg took this information and came back with a wonderful design that took our incomplete idea and made it whole. He explained the plants he chose, why they are best for our environment, how we can expect them to look year-round, etc. Further, the price for all of the work performed was excellent. I worked with several other local landscapers to compare designs/prices and my choice was very easy. LDS beat out the competitors in both design and price. When it came time to execute the design, the team was excellent. Greg and other members of LDS kept the lines of communication open - letting us know when they would arrive, what to expect when they are there and any questions they had throughout. They worked efficiently and we are very pleased with the result thus far. Our job was completed in November, so we really haven't had the chance to see the flowers bloom, but I was given comfort by LDS' warranty. If one of the plants does not "take" in the first year, LDS assured us that they will work with us so that the results of project meet our expectations. I also wanted to note that the crew was tidy. No messes were left around the yard and no damage was done when hauling machinery/plants around to the back of our house. Once the project was complete, Greg walked us through everything and ensured that it met our standards. As everything looked great, no additional work was needed. During the final walk-through, Greg also did a great job educating us on how to care for our new plants and what we could expect throughout their first year. In short, our experience was great: - Good people and company - Solid design (more robust and thoughtful than competitors contacted) - Excellent price (significantly lower than competitors contacted) - No compromise on quality of work - everything looks great - Clean and respectful crew I have already referred them to family and will be contacting them for any future landscaping needs!- Anthony D.

AMaplewood Tree ServiceMaplewood did a fantastic job removing a large tree and a lot of underbrush that had grown up along our fence line. Took away all the wood and left the yard super clean. AADVANTAGE LAWN EQUIPMENTDoyle at Advantage and his team on Lockbourne Rd are top notch in repairing lawn equipment. I called him in February 2020 to get a jump on the season. He picked up my Husqvarna 54 inch zero turn and it was better than new in a week. When I screwed up and ran over some heavy foilage he also helped me with a new tire and a belt in quick order mid season.2020. His prices are reasonable and his door to door service is great for larger sized lawn equipment. Doyle at Advantage will get the job done right and at a fair price!- James R.

FI was not home but left a check for him. Really was not satisfied and I discussed this with him he promised to come out again using a different mower, never showed up, did not call. I called him again got another promise to come out, never showed and did not call. By the third time I was disgusted and gave up. He never did return my calls.

AThe modification was quick and simple. The initial installation went over the sidewalk to get that strip of grass between the sidewalk and the curb. Come to find out that strip is mowed by the city where I live (would not have suspected that!). They were able to adjust the boundary line within the week of my request and he even looked over my mower settings to give me some suggestions and make sure I was up-to-date.

ARussell Tree Experts did an excellent job. I had a very large tree at the back of my house that was in bad condition. It had to be removed. I asked for advice and estimates from at least 7 firms. All of them told me that the tree had to be removed as soon as possible. However, their estimates ranged from $5,000 to $15,000. It was an very difficult job because the tree was quite far from the road, and the job needed a crain. Russell Tree Experts were very transparent in their estimate and did an excellent job with a crain that few other companies have. They were very professional and the job was cleanly executed.

APHENOMENAL -all around, We have a particularly difficult ravine back yard and had 6 large trees removed and one pruned out -not accessible with truck. The largest tree removed had a trunk that was over 24" in diameter (see photo of stump -I wear a 9.5 men's shoe size) and its shape made it particularly challenging to remove. I just can't say enough about how happy I am with the service (we've used other outfits in the past). DLL removed all debris, caused essentially no damage to neighboring trees, removed all the wood, branches and leaves and seeded all touched areas and then some. I had two other bids, one was close but would not provide the full wood removal; the third bid was 3 times that of DLL's. These folks were completely professional, courteous and accommodating from the estimator, to the office rep to the tree pros who performed the work.

AFantastic service. Crew arrived early, confirmed the work to be done, and on completion you would never know any tree or anyone was ever there. All debris was cleaned up and tidied perfectly. Removed the large tree, and even accommodated a request to take out 3 box wood shrubs that was not part of the original plan. Recommend highly.
