    Universal Windows Direct
I love Universal Windows!  This is the 2nd time we have used them.  All of the employees that I have dealt with are FANTASTIC from sales to installation.  They do everything that they promise.  A lot of companies say "Life time Warranty" and then there is always a catch.  That is not the case with Universal Windows.  One of our windows cracked.  I don't know how, probably one of the kids.  I called them, told them, and they ordered a new one and replaced it immediately.   The quality in all of their products are top of the line.  I will use them again in a heartbeat!

    Ally Builders
Rich was great and responded to every concern.  His assistant and general contractor Chris was top notch and worked straight through to not leave us in the lurch. At the end of the day he put our toilet back down in about 10 minutes because he was concerned we didn't have another one to use. The cleanup was excellent. The work that they did satisfied my missus (no mean feat).   I will tell everyone I know to use Ally Builders and I definitely will in the future for any contracting needs. I think these guys can do about anything.

    Handyman Connection
They were prompt on replying and coming out to give us an estaminet to do the job. Although we thought it was a little high we said okay because I was sure he knew how to do it right and I didn't feel like getting a lot of other people who didn't reply as fast as they did. He did a good job and cleaned up afterwards. Was very friendly and professional.

    Independence Glass & Door LLC
We originally got quotes from both Home Depot and Lowes. Their prices for new entry door AND install were upwards of $800. In all fairness this included a roughly $250 door. We decided to pick-up a different door for $200 and hired Steve for $275 for a grand total of $475. Even if we include the new storm door at $100 -- that brings the total to $575. Independence Glass and Door was still better than 25% less expensive than Lowes and Home Depot.
The installation of the new entry door that we purchased went great. We're very happy with this contractor -- both his professionalism and price. The only hiccup is that our old storm door did not fit after the installation of the new entry door so we had to visit Home Depot and bought an economical replacement. We realize these things happen so we're OK with this. Steve went with us when we bought the new storm door. He put it in his truck, brought it back to the house and quickly installed it.

    R Hammond Construction
I had a sunroom built onto the existing deck on the back of my house.  The deck was built about 10 years ago and was built to eventually support a sunroom.  I had several estimates and a review on Angie's List led me to R.(Rick) Hammond Construction.  After discussing the project with Rick and some ideas he presented, the project was started a few weeks after signing the contract.  The room is 9 x 12.  It has 2-6ft. sliding doors, 2-5 x 2 crank out windows and 2-3 x 3 casement windows mulled together.  It is trimmed out, carpeted, and has a tongue and groove ceiling.  Rick had the ceiling wood dropped off so I could stain it before installation.  The room was roofed, sided, and gutters installed.  I finished the room with some staining and painting.  One sliding screen door had some damage and Rick has since ordered and replaced the damaged door. Friends have said the room looks original to the house.  The project had some weather delays and Rick would call to let me know when they weren't coming.  I greatly appreciated the courtesy and respect for my time and property Rick and his crew showed.  My yard was always picked up before they left for the day.  I'm enjoying my new sun room!  I will definitely use R. Hammond Construction again.

    Integrity Windows, Doors & Siding
They were recommended on Angie’s List, and I felt comfortable with them, so I went ahead and dealt with them. They haven’t done any work yet because the windows have been ordered. So far everything has been good, and I would rate them as excellent. They quoted me $4500 which is less than the other company, and they also included another window that the other company had not quoted for, so that makes it much cheaper.

    Jaime's Quality Home Improvement
The person concerned was a little bit slow in responding afterwards, it took him at least ten days to get back to me on the estimate. Overall, I thought the experience was average, it was good. I felt that he was going to get products from different places, and I didn’t care for that. I was hoping that he presumably would be specific on where he was going to purchase his products from. He was taking products form one place, then from another place, and he wasn’t sure whether he should get them from one place or from another. These were little uncertainties that I was not comfortable with, so I didn’t go with them, I used another company. Jaime’s quote was also higher than any other quote that I got.

    Maurer's Door Service
Bob who installed the door opener is a qualified experienced person. Spent about (2) hrs. installing , did a very neat job running the wires for the safety reversing sensors. Nice clean up after the job was completed. Explained all parts and remotes. Also linked my 2010 car button too the door opener, works great. Remotes work way before I even get close to the house. The opener has two lights on it that come on when the door opens or you can just turn them on using the remotes. Easy to change the numbers on the outside door remote, plus its lite up at night when you push any number. totally completed. Works Great.
