It went great. I'm 10 days post-op with little to no pain when staying within my limitations. According to my PT my range of motion is great, we are limited by time for the biceps tendon to heal before working on any strength or resistance. Dr. Comisar takes the time to throughly explain things and answer any questions. I'm extremely happy with the treatment I have received.

The physical therapy staff is very caring, professional, very encouraging and they are not just limited to sports injury rehabilitation but they rehab any injury. They are very good. They have the equipment they just needed and I really think that it's their physical therapy assistance that makes the place so good. They have phenomenal staff.

    Lowery, Dr. Lisa K
Overall, I liked her. The diagnosis was thorough. She helped me take off my shirt as there was a shoulder injury and she did do several light contortions on my shoulder to see exactly where the pain was and she did spend like a good amount of time, talked to me about the injury and she did schedule followup. She was specific about the physical therapist, but she had certain ones that she found better and the physical therapist she sent to me was of high quality; they were competent and they had benchmarks for recovery. She did have high standards for the physical therapist that she refer the patients' to.

    Rosenberg, Gerald M
Dr. Rosenberg is FANTASTIC! My husband has a very rare condition that affects every joint in his body which has led to a lot of joint replacement surgeries. Dr. Rosenberg was not 'intimidated' by his condition at all. Despite Ken's shoulder being 'compromised' for years and years and injured by a car accident years ago as well, Dr. Rosenberg was able to get fantastic range-of-motion with the shoulder replacement. Also, Dr. Rosenberg performed my carpal tunnel release 6/2005. He did not subject me to a lot of unnecessary 'nerve' tests but knew right away from my symptoms I needed the surgery and we scheduled it without delay; the surgery took all of 15 minutes. (Note: When given the choice you want the "open hand" carpal tunnel release; that way the doctor can actually SEE what they are doing and it takes the same amount of time and recovery as the 'closed hand' procedure. There is a higher rate of success with the "open hand' routine as well). I was back at my computer within 4 days and was amazed at the results! Also, Dr. Rosenberg operates at Mt. Carmel New Albany Surgical Hospital; the MOST FANTASTIC Hospital we have ever been at! Dr. Rosenberg only does Upper Extremities and he is FANTASTIC!

They recommended physical therapy to help, instead of surgery. They were very honest in saying that surgery wasn't the best option at this time and I appreciated that, since they are surgeons.

    Doolittle II, Dr. Kenneth H.
I was really pleased with him. I know three other people who have had good experiences with him. I knew him from being a nurse. I thought he was easy to communicate with. I didn't have any problems talking with him. He was willing to answer any questions I had.

Dr. Latshaw reviewed the images, and examined my shoulder. He was very helpful in explaining the extent of my damaged rotator cuff, and recommended surgery to repair it. His Patient Coordinator, Kelli, has been very helpful and accommodating with all of the insurance paperwork. I'm scheduled for surgery in a couple of weeks and I am sure it will be completed without incident.

It is going well. Fell around the middle of July, 2008. Went to the ER. Had the bones put back together and a partial splint put on. Referred to the Surgeon. Saw the Surgeon a week later. Had the surgery another week later. Plate inserted and a splint put on. Still going to therapy and being followed by consulting the Surgeon.
