  • 4/10/2018 - I would NOT recommend this company. The owner and crew were on time, respectful and responsive. However, I am not happy with how the crew members left our house. They didn't measure correctly, so we ended up with an extra hole in our floor, and a slice in our molding around the bottom of our kitchen island. I would assume there is also damage to the cabinetry that we cannot see. The owner came over as soon as we called to complain about the poor job his crew had done. He and another gentleman looked over the two issues, and had made the decision to pull off the piece of damaged molding to take with them so that they could match the color. The crew member that had messed it up to begin with told us they should have just bought some brown silicone to cover the sliced area, which now sounds like that would have been the best idea. Unfortunately, after two more visits from the crew trying to fix these two issues, we are now stuck with a piece of molding that not only doesn't match in color, it doesn't match in size or shape. So we will have to have all of the molding replaced. As for the extra 6" hole that was cut into our floor, which looks like it was chewed on by a beaver, has a large circle in black marker around it, and now covered with a piece of nailed on plywood. I wish the owner or a more experienced crew member would have completed the job. We just bought this house less than 6 mos ago, and the kitchen is newer and the flooring is newer, so I'm very upset that this transaction went so badly. You would hope after a company comes out and does some work, that your house would be better off, not worse off. We are very disappointed, and upset with the situation, and I'm just sick about it, because the damage couldn't be fixed to make us whole. We are stuck with it, until we can afford to pay someone to make it right.

  • Advanced air arrived on time and completed the inspection and cleaning within 1 hr.  He provided a good overview of the status of the furnace with no additional maintenance needed at this time. Appreciated his thoroughness in his assessment and reviewwith me

  • We just called Hill's.  We need to have 3 cold air return registers replaced and have our furnace completely checked out. (We haven't used the furnace or the a/c for about three years).  Well first the lady that answered the phone was very rude. We explained what we needed and she informed me that they are to busy to do anything like that and it was too late in the year to have a furnace check over, and that she had pages and pages of appointments. NEVER again will I call Hill's.

  • I had multiple problems with the system after it was installed. At one point the fan wasn't working as well as other issues. They ended up having to install a new system because they did not repair it after multiple attempts. It took me demanding that they install a new the system in order to make that happen. I am not happy with their customer service. I wish I had used another provider.

  • The service was performed as scheduled.  The technicians were polite and explained the results of the tests they performed.  The lead technician explained that the Freon level was OK but on the edge. I elected to add Freon to the system. He also explained that the capacitor in the electric motor control was marginal and I also elected to have it replaced. Overall I was satisfied with the work.

  • The owner did the estimate & was extremely patient and informative. We weren't sure what we needed and he was very helpful. He answered a thousand questions! The crew was very nice, pleasant to have in our home & did a great job. They were very professional, courteous, clean, respectful, prompt, friendly.As for their responsiveness, they take a few days to get back to you when you call them. They do get back to you though, so I don't see it as an issue at all.I highly recommend this company; they have highly experienced tradesmen  that have been with them for many years. We specifically  want our hard earned money to stay local and go to business' that are either union, or ones treat their employees very well.

  • They are wonderful.  They are reliable and professional.  They take the time with you and explain everything.  They make sure the job's done right.  They came out in the beginning of July.

  • It took 2-3 days from beginning to end. They worked very efficiently first by putting down drop clothes on traffic area through the house. They removed the old furnace and installed the new furnace. All the time cleaning up after themselves. They installed the control after removing the old one and made sure to show us how to use it correctly. When this was done they then removed the old air conditioner. We had to dig up a large holly bush and move it in order to put in the new larger a/c. They did the majority of this too. (We are still waiting to see if the bush is going to live.) They then installed the new air conditioner and made sure that everything was working properly before leaving the job.
