AMonk's Home ImprovementsIt went extremely well. The new door is beautiful and the workers were pleasant to work with. We needed some work done outside around the door, and the foreman gave us a great suggestion which worked perfectly for us. The banister (for our center hall colonial) was very intricate, and the old stain needed to be hand sanded in several areas and was tedious work. The crew did a wonderful job, and the new stain looks great. The family room and trim needed to be refreshed (this is the room the French door was added to) and it looks like a great job. The painters were very professional, and did a great job, including cleanup. We could not be happier with how things turned out.- Mark S.

AMonk's Home ImprovementsI talked with Kurt Becker of Monk's Home Improvements on August 13 about getting painters to refresh the rooms on the first floor of my house as well as the master bath on the second floor. The house is for sale and I was contacting him from out of state as I have already moved. In quick order, he visited the house, sent me an estimate and once I confirmed, he booked a start date of Monday, August 24. The painters used a day to prep and to take wallpaper down in one of the rooms. They painted 4 rooms, two hallways, one bath - including ceilings, doors and trim work and were finished by Friday, August 28. The house looks terrific and we are so grateful to Kurt and Monk for their prompt response and quick completion of the job - and especially for working with me long distance. AFlying Colors Roofing and PaintersSteven and team did an outstanding job turning our home from one with chipped paint from multiple terrible painting jobs and gapping holes from woodpeckers to looking like a brand new home! The team replaced all damaged shingles, removed an old door and added shingles in its place to match the rest of the house, sanded down the old paint (over multiple days) and then painted beautifully. They also took some extra days to remove old wallpaper up our stairs and in our hallways, repaired the drywall and repainted. Every day the team was onsite and ready to work at the time we were told (and usually even early) and the project was wrapped up exactly when we were told, and surpassed all of our expectations. We will definitely be recommending Flying Colors to anyone and everyone in the future.- Matthew M.

AFlying Colors Roofing and PaintersFlying Colors is wonderful! Steven Totilo is incredibly responsive and professional. He provided a detailed contract upon assessment of my home and was very communicative throughout. The team of painters he employs are kind and incredibly skilled! They did everything from power washing, priming, painting the entire house, trim, doors, and gutters, and light carpentry work to replace damaged cedar and trim in just a few days! They worked diligently throughout the heat and were very kind and communicative. The painters did a beautiful job! I appreciated the carpentry work which saved me from sourcing a contractor/carpenter myself. We used Flying Colors about a year ago as well to paint our kitchen and the gentleman on the job was the very same that came to paint my house - and he remembered me! They did a wonderful job then, which is why I reached out to Steven for a much bigger project. The price point is very reasonable for a young person like myself to afford, one of the more reasonable I encountered in searching for a painter in the Stamford area. APrecision Painting PlusExcellent efficient work, timely service, flexible scheduling. Quality, quality quality!!! I closed on my new home on December 15th, which didn't leave me much time to make minor changes before the holidays. James and Bianca at Precision Painting Plus were a dream come true. James came out to see our home a day after my Angie's list request. He provided me with an complete detailed estimate for my project and was super thoughtful to throw things in for Little or No cost because we had just bought the home, Ex. He painted the closets in my kids room. #Grateful. The estimate came with all of the material. Quality paint and quality painters! The paint is yours to keep at the end of the project. As they were already full of projects for the holiday season, I asked if there was any way my project could have been done before Christmas. James made a call and actually got a crew out to my home 2 days later, they worked late into the night on day 1 and was able to wrap up my project on day 2 by 5pm. I got a Huge master bedroom done, the master bath, my children's room (2x) their bathroom. My formal living and dining room done - very large space and my half bathroom. The work was AMAZING! The service included all the walls, trims and doors. I couldn't be happier! Bianca is the project consultant and she was also Top Notch! Extremely Knowledgeable about colors and finishes and walked me through with NO RUSH color options - I was a deer without headlights. Her direction really helped me pull it together. At such a happy but overwhelming time of purchasing a new home, they were the perfect team to help bring some ease to what could have easily been a overwhelming process. AFrom start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure working with Sheki and Pam. From the moment we reached out, they were both incredibly responsive. Sheki first came to the house to conduct an initial consult. He was right on time and was incredibly helpful, informative, and knowledgeable. He talked us though our options and listened to exactly what we envisioned. We received a quote shortly after the consult and as soon as we were ready to start the job, we immediately received the contract and a start time of the very next day! Sheki and his team arrived right on time and were incredibly efficient. They brought all of the paint and equipment and covered our furniture in plastic and moved it all to the center of the room. The walls in the rooms we had painted required a tremendous amount of prep work and both the prep and the painting was immaculate. We are incredibly pleased with the work done. To prep and paint 3 large rooms only took 2 days and Sheki came both days to check in and make sure everything was running smoothly. Sheki and his team wore masks the entire time and the left our home cleaner than when they started! We did not find a speck of dust after the job was finished and they vacuumed our carpet so it looks brand new (better than when they started!). AI rate A&A to be the best of the best. My 75 year old house not shines with the work of this company. They paid particular attention to detail and completed the job to my satisfaction. AWe've used Palette pro several times for both interior and exterior work, and as usual, their work was fantastic. They are extremely professional, providing a project manager who oversees the job and inspects the work before it is complete. Their painters are also very professional and polite. On this job, there was a small piece of a room that we had thought was included, but was not painted. They were correct that it was not in their proposal, but they painted the additional piece extra with charging more. They do great work and are very fair. The pricing is more than the "some guy with a van" types, but extremely reasonable for the quality and professionalism they provide. They are really great.
