    HE NEVER EVEN CALLED ME AFTER THE MESSAGE I SENT HIM. I called him and he was very undecided about when he could come here. When I asked him how much it would cost, he said he may have the part in his truck but had to look on line to check the price. When he called back he quoted a price that was three times the amount of the part! I told him to forget it. I'll do it myself.......and I did.

    Sears - Staten Island Mall
    The rep came on July 23, 2014 and said he would install them within 10 days. After numerous calls to Sears, visits to Sears, and threatening to cancel the order the company called us and arranged for the installation. The company was not reliable in returning phone calls and I had to make numerous calls before I got a call back. The garage doors were installed on Sept. 9, 2014.Unfortunately we are still waiting for them to deliver the "grates" for each of the windows in the garage doors.

    Cleaned three filters located in the cylinder of the vacuum. Quickly identified problem(s); malfunctioning face plate, clogged duct, and rectified them. Vacuum now works very well. He also carried and supplied (at an additional cost) new hose and all the attachments.

    I was very impressed with the repairman who came.  He (Scott) was efficient, patient, courteous and knowledgeable.  (I had problems with both my refrigerator and dishwasher.)  I'll use the company again if I had another problem.
    I put N/A for the price because I really don't know if what they charged was a lot or not since I don't know what rates are for the type of work done.  It took much longer than he expected because he had to wait a very long time for the ice around frozen refrigeration coils to defrost essentially on their own.

    First let me say that I have been purchasing my appliances at Berger Appliance for the past 32 years. I have never had a bad experience with them whether purchase related or service related. My salesman was very knowledgable and helped me a great deal in choosing just the right appliances for my needs as well as my budget. I wasn't sure of the correct size refrigerator and my salesman looked up the one I was replacing (which I had purchased from them) in their customer records and quickly solved the problem for me. I was also told that due to NYS law, a licensed plumber would have to install my gas range. Berger's offered to contract a plumber for me. When I researched the cost with a plumber that I have used in the past verses Berger's plumber, BERGER's plumber was less expensive and did a great job. (I will definitely use him for my future plumbing needs) My delivery arrived three days after I placed my order. The morning of the delivery date, I called the store to inquire about the time of the delivery and was given a reasonable time frame window. Two gentlemen and the plumber arrived within minutes of each other and within the stated time frame. They removed the old appliances and installed all of the new appliances in record time and answered all of my questions in a professional and courteous manner. They also delivered the new appliances and took away the old appliances free of charge.
    I have always been very happy with the products, the prices and the service that I have received from Berger Appliances.
    Two years ago, I purchased an air conditioner at a and quot;big box storeand quot; thinking I had gotten a great deal..............BIG MISTAKE! This summer without hesitation, I will go to Berger Appliances to replace it. (Lesson learned).

    A few days before I had called Mike because my washing machine was leaking water. I had asked him the price for his services and he said he charges $79 as a service charge and the rest depends on what type work he has to do. | |Mike came and checked out the washing machine and ran several cycles. There was no problem really. Just the hose was a little loose. | |I found his price to be very steep considering that there was really nothing wrong with the machine. He probably would have charged me at least $300 if there was something actually wrong. | |Needless to say he lost a customer for good. |

    Mike assessed and repaired everything! The refrigerator is only 7 years old and a and quot;top of the lineand quot; (Superba) Kitchenaid. Mike is very professional, efficient and highly reliable! We would highly recommend him to anybody needing appliance repair in this region!

    I called the customer service line for the manufacturer but they were no help, as my husband had already performed all of the obvious trouble shooting recommendations. Calling a service technician for a home visit, was the next step.

    When I called Atlantic Appliance for assistance the woman on the line was very nice and explained that I would have to wait a few days for someone to come out to the house due to shortage of available techs, I was fine with waiting a few days for an appointment.

    On the day of the house call, the technician arrived promptly on the earlier side of the time frame I had been given at the time of scheduling I believe it was around 10 am. He was courteous, efficient and found that the problem was a defective sensor. After he replaced the broken part, reassembled the dryer, I would say he was all done in about an hour.

    The technician had mentioned to my husband that we had a very nice appliance and that it was on the manufacturer's better models. Having just bought a house, I was very pleased that he was able to fix the problem, and that didn't have to go out and purchase a brand new dryer!

    Sunday afternoon, we discovered that the fridge and freezer had stopped running completely. We were frantic because we had just gone to the supermarket that morning and had the fridge and freezer filled to the max. We called a bunch of people (we should've checked  angie's list first but with three screaming children under age 6 we were in a state of panic to save the food and make sure it was fixed right away) and of course I was only able to leave messages. A guy from this company called me back and I explained the problem to him. He said he was on the road and would call me back in half an hour and let me know what time he would arrive. An hour went by and I decided to call him back on the number he called. Every time I called, it went straight to a dialup/fax  number. It never rang like a regular phone line. His caller ID said Aptela, Inc. when he called me the first and only time. A  company that does not exist !! I waited another hour, hoping he would call back. He never did. We lost most of our food sitting around waiting for a guy who never planned on showing up. At least have the decency to say that you don't want to take on the job or  perhaps you should've NEVER called me back to give me hope that the problem would be looked into. I don't think he knows how to fix refrigerators according to my experience and the experience that other people have had with this company. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!!

    I was very happy with the technician that I dealt with. He arrived when he said he would. He called before he arrived with about a half an hour notice. I had an additional problem and he came back at no charge to make the repair. He was extremely knowledgeable, and I will use this company again in a heartbeat.
