Well & Water Pump Repair reviews in Yonkers

Clog Busters Inc Plumbing Heating & Drain Cleaning
Called Clog Busters. Chris was out in the field and came to our house within the 1 1/2 hr time frame stated. He assessed the problem. Stated the cost of replacement of sump pump (with the same quality manufacturer) along with the labor cost. After we agreed to the work, he stated that he would be back in 1/2 hr with the replacement pump. And he was! Also replaced part of the discharge pipe. Pump works great! Chris also carted away the old debris! Very professional, clean, prompt and price was very reasonable.

    Twin Belle
Twin Belle operated pumps to clear (as I had been doing on my own) but water just kept refilling Could not solve the problem Paid them several hundred dollars for a couple of hours work that didn't help anything . Another company  came and quickly figured that there was a clog in my sump pump line leading to the street, snaked the line both from the sump pump and backwards from the street and problem was solved for about $200.

Emergency Sewer & Drain Service Inc
John and Bobby have been working on my injector pump for years. They didn't a great job whenever I've had issues. They come out usually within an hour after calling to have work done. They do good work but are pricey. About 20% higher then the price should be.

    Arid Basement Waterproofing
The company is located in Ramsey NJ

The original inspection was completed for the original cost. The additional work, a check valve was performed on the same day the tech explained that this would prevent the back- up into the slop sink. However as the tech explained this is only a temp fix. We discussed different alternatives and his Boss , mr Fusco was suppose to call me with prices. He never called.
The tech who came was very polite and seemed knowledgable
For this reason I would not rate this provider as reliable

    B-Dry Waterproofing and Foundation Repair
They are awesome! We haven’t had a flood in a few years. It came with a lifetime guarantee. If you own your home, you can transfer the policy to the next person. So if something were to happen with the system with the new person, they are covered, which is really great. They are really good and they get my top rating!

    Dry-X Waterproofing
They assessed source of water coming up from the basement floor.  Recommended
a choice of 3 optional levels of repair, thoroughly explaining the
costs and benefits of each one, as well as a detailed explanation of all
the steps involved in the waterproofing process.  After we chose the
optimal solution for us, he and his crew procured all the materials and
took care of the problem.  We highly recommend them !

    Budget Dry Waterproofing Inc
The bottom line of the project is that it was an excellent experience working with Budget Dry. The team that came out at the scheduled time and did the work were efficient, polite, and professional. The original design of the trench was to go around our boiler and water heater because of limited space between these appliances and the wall. Not to be deterred, the team managed to dig the trench behind these appliances, eliminating the need to bring the trench into the interior of the utility room. A pleasant and appreciated surprise. It was a nice demonstration of how the team went beyond our expectations, no additional charge. Indeed, there were no surprises, no unexpected costs, all was done per the estimate.
Jump to December 17, 2012, when we had our first annual maintenance visit. Chris Kyttle came out to do our first inspection. He was thorough, checked everything out, took apart a couple things to make sure the pumps were working, that no parts were broken, he was patient with all my questions, explained things thoroughly, showed me some things...all in all a very good experience and deserving of our thanks and compliments. One more good experience in our relationship with Budget Dry.

    Dry-X Waterproofing
Marcus and Crews did an excellent job.He is very thorough and take pride in what they do. Great communication with us to let us exactly know what they were doing and how far along the job was. Excellent cleanup at the end. The result looks super. I would also Larry, the salesman was extremely knowledgeable and explained the technical details of the job very well at a level we could understand.

    Rella Plumbing & Heating
    1) I asked that he install a basepump backup water powered sump pump in an empty sump pit on the street side of my house.
    2) He told me it was too difficult to do in that location because of the water lines location.
    3) He convinced me to instead have him dig a new sump pit on the backyard side of my house at a much higher expense and install a Liberty SJ10 water powered pump together with an electric pump in the new location.
    4) The system did not work and the basement flooded with the power outage.
    5) I told him this would not have happened if we were able to install the backup pump next to my primary pump on the street side. He then told me, miraculously, that he could install a water powered backup pump in that location without difficulty using flex piping. [It was the and quot;difficultyand quot; of connecting the waterline without breaking down walls, which prevented him from doing this initially, or so he told me. Turns out it was just a lie to have him do a much bigger job of excavating a new pit which did not solve my problem.
    6) He installed the second backup pump with the flex piping and it worked beautifully during the next power outage. My basement is finally dry even without power for days on end.
    7) It cost me 5x what it should have because of the unnecessary excavation and installation of a primary and backup pump that I did not need, but was sold to me because he told me I could not get the water powered backup pump where he eventually put it without any trouble.
    8) The first job he did used a piece of equipment that has been dripping, nearly from the date of installation, and has prevented me from putting the sump pit cover on my unnecessary, space consuming, sump pit, which is not up to code and which will not pass inspection when I sell the house. So I must pay a new plumber to fix what he did because for nearly five months he has given me the run-around.
And finally, he left all of the excavated concrete against my house in the backyard. He basically only removed that material when I told him I needed him to do the second job (the second job that should have been the first job and would have avoided a) 1 flood and b) the cost of excavating an additional sump pit, the loss of significant floor space in our laundry room and months of trying to get him to come fix the drip created by his first job.

They are very nice, professional and pretty reliable. They do the job, and their prices are reasonable. He is expected to come over today. They usually come on time but this is the first time that he is running late. He actually said he would be coming between 10 and 11, and he is still not here yet. I would use them again in the future.
