    Scarsdale Medical Group
They are okay. They have got some good doctors and they have some bad doctors. It is wonderful when I go to see my regular doctor. When I have to go in for, say I have got a sinus infection, then I take the luck of the draw. They are good about punctuality. The bedside manner and communication depends on the doctor. They are very good about billing.

I use whoever is on my plan and covered.  It is a big one in our area.  They are usually pretty punctual; I don’t wait a long time in the office.  I hate to make an appointment and wait for an hour.  They don’t seem to do double and triple appointments for the same time.  Their bedside manner and communication have been very good.

    Gair, Dr. Brian H
My experience has been excellent. As a matter of fact, he found the prostate cancer. The other doctor that I talked to was impressed that he was able to find it. He found it early. It was treated with two sessions of radiation. The only problem is he is aging soon. I have been his patient for 20 years. He also tries to help with medications and tries to find the cheaper meds that will do the service. He is conscientious and quite thorough. He is open on Sundays and that is so convenient. The office environment is positive. It is not out of date. Whenever I call, he always calls me back the same day. He spends as much time as necessary.

They are life-changing. There is a great group of doctors in that building. What makes it good is that everything is located in that facility. When I needed an MRI, I was able to merely walk to the next office, get it, and come back to find out the results.

He is a really good doctor. He has the best bedside manner. He listens, gentle and caring. He is up with medication. Overall, he is wonderful. I have been going to him for a year now. He knows how to be with people. He has that gift. It is a good environment and the customer service is exceptional. Everyone there is friendly. I was able to get a correct diagnosis and care. I will continue to use him.

The experience here is like getting medical care from Ikea.

After hoping I'd found a new doctor after moving to the area, I kept having to call them back to remind them to call in my prescription medication and to send through the referral to see another doctor.

Regardless of your insurance, and I'm fortunate enough to have great insurance, they seem to want to squeeze as much billing potential out of you as possible.

Examples: When you need blood work, they don't pause to give you a blood work order form and let you know you can have it done at their office or that you have a right to go to a third party lab... They send you back to one of their giant lobbies, filled with people, and you wait for one of THEIR phlebotomists to come and get you to draw work. Clever... and a bit shady.

If you know what you need by way of care and, say want to see a specialist because that's the type of physician you've been seeing, they force you first to see one of their general doctors who will then and quot;referand quot; you to see the other doctor on another date. This is mind boggling to me, especially for those of us who have insurance and do not need referrals to see specialists such as dermatologists and other specialists.

A good place to be on file with if you live near by; use them as a backup to see doctors when you can't get in to see anyone else. But choose carefully your common provider and stay clear of this big box style of healthcare. It's unhealthy.

    Dorian Tergis MD
I have been seeing doctor Tergis over 20 years. He is caring compassionate and dedicated. All the people who work in his office are wonderful. He once spent over an hour with my wife in the emergency room working with the attending doctor until she was stabilized. He did this for no fee. I trust doctor Tergis

It went well, the doctor took a chest x ray to make sure I didnt have pneumonia, took blood, gave me two injections, one steriod and one antibiotic.  Also, gave me a prescription for an anti biotic.

    Binder, Dr. Ralph E.
He is an excellent person. He has a deep knowledge of the medical field. The practice is run very professionally. The decor is great; it's a new facility. There are a number of other nice doctors there as well.
