    Vivian Letizia DDS
Dr. Letizia has been nothing but incompetent for anything beyond basic routine dentistry. She and her staff are nice, but what you want is competence. I've had problems with crowns that didn't take, an implant that was more of a "place holder" than an actual tooth, and most recently, a post and crown that came out of an implant. She tried to stick it back together with dental cement, which created a whole other nightmare situation. Every other dental professional during this ongoing ordeal said that using dental cement on an abutment to try and stick back into an implant is the last thing that should have been done. She refuses to take any responsibility for her actions, has made what sounds like desperate excuses, and has had the temerity to try and charge for related expenses (a gingivectomy for $300, then she would give me a "break" for replacement of crown, though other dentists said it didn't need replacement)

I didn't know it, but she required new patients to pay $400.
Then an assistant cleaned HALF my teeth--said the others would require my having Novocaine.
Then the dentist herself told me what had to be done.
I asked another dentist--my old one, in NJ--and he was shocked that a dentist would require me to pay $400 on any first visit. And then only half my teeth would be cleaned. (That dentist cleaned my other half.)
Dr. Kuehn's  assistant had gone on and on about saving me money on a $16 or so purchase of special toothpaste. A trick. Another dentist gave it to me free of charge.
    Very manipulative office.

    Dutton, Dr. Robert M.
Went to Dr. Dutton with a toothache. He did an X-ray and an examination and referred me to a specialist for a complex root canal. He was very professional and efficient. Seemed very competent. I'll go to him for the rest of the work on that tooth and for future dental work.

    Paul Pai DDS
I've had two root canals performed by Dr Pai in the past. Both were done perfectly with no problems despite one tooth having a crack. I had a regular dentist do a root canal and it had to be redone. When that happened I decided to go to a specialist in the future and several people recommended Dr Pai.
For this visit I wanted him to check two teeth with old fillings that give me some pain. He recommended waiting and using sensitivity toothpaste since he did not see a structural problem. I also have my teeth cleaned at Dr Pai's office since I think the cleaning is superior to what is done at my regular dentist - more thorough. Be aware though that his office does not accept or deal with insurance - you have to get a receipt and file on your own if you have dental insurance.

    Tischler, Dr. Maurice
Upper jaw- 4 extractions, 6 implants, denture- $ 28.000.00 Lower Jaw- make a permanet denture which would have included 7 crowns and 6 false teeth for 18000.00. Total- $ 46,000.00 As I have no dental insurance I decided to look for less expensive options. I did get an estimate for similar work on the lower jaw from another dentist and his charge would have been only $ 255.00 less 0r $17,745.00. I cannot attest to the quality of Dr. Tischler's work nor could I find out if he had ever had any complaints or mal practice actions against him as NYS does not have a site as they do for physicians from which one can get such information.

From start to finish my experience with Tischler Dental was treatment and payment plans were clearly laid out from the surprises.

Now I have a beautiful smile and would recommend Tischler Dental to anyone and everyone!

    Vivian Letizia DDS
The office staff seem friendly and Dr appears to know what she is doing. But the diasters start to pile up soon enough. Dr. Letizia performs procedures she is not qualified to do and does them badly. The crown she did for me is now starting to fall apart and I am looking at more bills to fix her shoddy work.

    Stephen Dallow DDS
It did not go well. Dr. Dallow did not administer enough Novacaine during the root canal, and I began to tear up and have a bad face. He then removed his gloves, threw them down, and left the room to get more anesthetic. On my return visit for the crown, he improperly applied the crown and said that he was done. I, then, told him that he was not finished as the bite was wrong, the crown was too high, and dental cement remained on both sides of the crown. He retorted that I was done and attempted to leave the room. I called him back and reiterated that the crown was incorrectly done, and he finally corrected it.
