  • As many BMW owners can attest to this, these cars are overloaded with functions which all require a lot of power from the battery. Plus the way that these cars charge the battery is sub-optimal for the sake of gas mileage. My car started to display symptoms related to a dying battery. It took me several trips for multiple diagnoses but ultimately my SA was able to get it fixed. Throughout my ordeal, my SA was incredibly courteous and professional. He made sure it go covered by factory warranty even though it had just expired. Ask for John Denice.

  • We went in on Memorial Day weekend to lease a car. Made a Sign and Drive deal with the salesman. Reiterated many times that the only monies due on signing were First Month's Payment and DMV  fees. Nothing else. They also agreed to make the last 2 payments to get us out of our current lease.

    We were supposed to pick up the car later that day but our insurance company was closed so set it up for Tuesday.

    Tuesday the dealership had a big computer mess-up so it was pushed to Thursday - no big deal.

    On Thursday night my husband went in to sign the papers. It was the end of a long day at work, he was there for 3 hours before they finally finished, and he (admittedly) did not may as much attention as he should have.When he got home I asked how much he had paid. It should have been around $ 500. He told me he paid them almost $ 1200. I looked at the papers and saw they had added on a Cap Cost Reduction of $ 675 plus sales tax on the Cap Cost Recuction.

    Completely not as our original deal.I called the finance manager the next day, left a message and no return call. Did that for 3 more days before he finally answered his phone. He promised to pull the file and get back to me. To this day no return call.

    My husband spoke to the salesman who remembered the deal and said we were right. Should only have been the first payment plus DMV fees. he was going to talk to manager and get back to us. Still waiting.

    6 weeks later they still had not paid off the old lease, and we were getting late calls on that. So my husband went back to Valley Stream Hyundai and spoke to a manager who promised to get back to him the next day on that. Umm still waiting to hear back from him also.

    In the meanwhile I disputed the charge with American Express and filed a complaint with the BBB.

    American Express resolved the dispute in our favor because Valley Stream Hyundai could not show the validity of the charge. And the BBB closed the file when the dealership stopped responding.

    Last week (over 2 months late) The 2 lease payments were received.

    We love the car, but would NEVER do business with them again.

  • When I was buying a new car from them, they insisted I needed extra insurance on my radiator. They made it sound as if it was only pennies and it is absolutely necessary. Having spent there almost entire day, I agreed. Well, the insurance was not existent and I was charged two thousand for it. Long story short, no one was then available to speak to me for months until I went there . I got the same run around but no money. I was forced to take them to court. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! RUN TO A DIFFERENT DEALER!!!!!!!!!!!!
