    Suburban Asphalt Concrete Co Inc
My driveway was in poor condition and I had a narrow walkway overgrown with ivy and a yard with a downward pitch towards the house where I wanted to put patio. I had already committed to another highly recommended asphalt and concrete company on Angie's list whom I won't name. Once I agreed to do the job with them, they wouldn't return my calls or give me a date or ballpark estimate. I gave up on them. I contacted Suburban Asphalt and Tom came in with a fair price ( I had 4 other contractors bid on it). More importantly, he seemed more experienced and interested in my business. The driveway came out great, the ivy is gone and in place I have a vegetation free new concrete walkway. The paver patio came out great.

    J. Evergreen Tree Services
Jose and his crew did exactly what they promised. He arrived punctually to evaluate the job, gave me a very fair price, and more than met my expectations on the work that was done. I was at work when the job was done and was so happy when I got home to see how it came out. Everything was clean and done exactly according to his word. I would definitely recommend his services and use him again. Excellent and fair!

    Landscaping By John Mcnulty
The above list of work performed barely touches the scope of actual work performed because it's difficult to describe just how much trimming and clean-up needed to be done. John is a gentleman, as are the people who work for him. They worked at my home for approximately seven hours. They are polite, respectful, quiet and do beautiful work!

I cannot recommend this company enough. I've had letters dropped in my mailbox asking who did the work, it is that good. From their planning to execution, Dennis and his team are Grade A++.

While I personally found it to be on the expensive side, I know their work is phenomenal.  The quality of workmanship, products used and service is incredible.  I will, without hesitation, use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and impressive lighting installation.

    K & A Tree Service
K & A Tree Service was awesome.  We just bought our home in January and part of the reason that its value was depressed was due to diseased and awkwardly placed trees surrounding our property.  Many were located hanging precariously over power lines.  Kenny was extremely easy to work with and quoted the best price by far (I'm talking thousands of dollars less than other tree services).  His team deftly removed all of our trees and ground the stumps in less than a day, leaving the power lines intact.  Kenny's work increased the value of my home.  I am very satisfied and would definitely go to him first next time I need tree removal service.

    Raymond Kelly Contracting
finished product, was We contacted this general contractor after getting quotes from other contractors for various portions of the work that needed to be done.  Although it is almost impossible to compare prices because each contractors proposed somewhat different approaches I feel that the quotes given by Kelly were fair, competitive and understandable. The general contractor was able to plan and coordinate the various aspects of the project, which was very helpful.

Raymond Kelly, the owner, and Dave Gallagher, who supervised the project were very friendly, accessible and professional. If there were any questions or  problems, Dave, who was the main contact, was readily available by cell phone or e-mail, and would come out to our house at his earliest availability.  Communications were very good with Dave and Ray.

The  finished product by the masons and carpenter was excellent. and the vinyl siding looks very good. There was an initial problem with the two casement replacement windows, but that was rectified quickly. Any little details that needed to be tweaked were done so in a timely manner.

    Clearview Tree & Land Corp.
CUSTOMERS BEWARE...After a very long day at work I am sitting down to write a review because of how outraged I am at the unprofessionalism of this company. A couple of weeks ago I spent about 30 minutes walking around my property and showing Richard in detail which trees I needed taken down.  After an extensive detailed conversation I was given a written quote of $6000. The job would take approximately 2 full days to complete. In addition, I sent him to my neighbors house to price out a job. For two days he stood to make approx. $7500.  Richard was very helpful  and went across the street to my village hall and spoke with our village arborist.  He did a walk thru with them about a week later to make sure we would have no problems getting a permit. All sounds fantastic so far...
HERE COMES THE OUTRAGEOUS PART...Richard's crew comes to our house today to start the job. Orlando, the foreman decides that Richard underestimated the job and refuses to work unless we pay an additional $4000.  Richard calls my husband at work and tries to get him to agree to pay the additional money. My husband, as anyone in their right mind would do, does not agree and tells the men not to proceed with the job.  Orlando decides that he is going to try to talk with my husband and renegotiate the deal again by lowering his original amount of $4000 that he was trying to get out of us.  Of course we do not agree.
This gets even better. My husband comes home to find that when Orlando and his crew went to my neighbors house they drove on part of our sidewalk and broke a main water line to our house. The village had to come today and thank goodness repaired the water line immediately at the cost of Clearview Tree & Land Corp.
All in all not only did they lose our business, but they also lost a lot more money because they now will be billed for the damage they caused.  SHAME ON YOU CLEARVIEW. YOU ARE A DISHONEST UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS that  does not deserve to work in our village.

    Randazzo Masonary

Stevef from Randazzo Masonry and his team repaired my brick patio.  A section of the brick patio had been sinking and a brick had broken off.   Steve and his team removed a large section of brick pavers to diagnose the problem and appears there was sizable hole underground, probably from an old septic tank at one point in time.  They filled the hole with sand/cement, leveled the patio, layed the brick back in place, and filled the gaps with sand.  Overall, Steve and his team did  a fantastic job.  Steve was responsive from the beginning and was able to accommodate my  schedule.   If you're looking for a mason that is responsive, professional, does quality work, has fair pricing and is punctual, Randazzo Masonry should be on the top of your list.

    K & A Tree Service
Very well.  He came on time, did the job and cleaned up after himself.  He did what he said he would do.  By trimming off the branches I was concerned about, I feel better about any future issues with wind/snow storms and this tree.

    American Lawn Sprinklers
My wife and I just moved into a new house and wanted to have our sprinkler system inspected and turned on.  We brought in another company to look everything over and was told told my system was shot and would need to be replaced, which would cost me $3,500.  I inquired with American Lawn Sprinklers for a second opinion and was told the system was fine, just a few items needed to be replaced.   James and Nelson  repaired our sprinkler system in a jiffy by replacing a few valves and sprinkler heads.  Since then, sprinkler system has been working like a charm.  These guys are great and very honest too.
