  • The service tech did very minimal work, like brushing the bottom of the ref and lint. Turned on appliances, if working. That’s it, nothing more. Very minimal. You have to be on top of what he’s doing, and be specific of your complaints of the appliance, or the tech will not do anything else. The biggest problem was the tech’s laptop. It couldn’t contact the server. He spent so much time on that. It was not his fault, but Sears. They have to give the tech the tools to efficiently do their jobs.

  • The technician Ray came and assessed the ice maker and determined it needed a new motor. It took a few days to get the part and was installed efficiently. Ray was a professional and knew exactly what needed to be done. I was very happy with his work and will definitely recommend him and the company for repairs.

  • I called on 11/10 and they scheduled an appointment the next day between 12 and 3. I gave them the make and model number of the stove.
    They called about 10 AM and said they could be there earlier if I wanted.
    The technican checked with a volt meter and advised me that the igniter was defective. I was fairly sure when I called that this was the problem.
    He advised how much the repair would cost, got my OK and did the job in about 30 minutes. He had the part on the truck.
    Everyone I dealt with , both on the phone and in my home, were very courteous and professional. They accepted the $25.00 off Angie's List coupon with no problem.

  • Steve came on time, he was very polite and explained to me why my dishwasher wasn't working. He also cleaned up after himself and left where he was working clean. He also said that if i had any more trouble to call him and he would come back. Over all i would be happy to hire him again.

    I contacted Steve's early this afternoon - not expecting to have the stove repaired for a few days or so.
    Now, not even 6 hours later, our stove is working again!
    Steve is a very personable guy, very professional and efficient.
    The repair was done with no hiccups or surprises.
    Job well done!
    I will most certainly call Steve's again if another appliance needs repair.

  • I bought the "deal" while searching for a highly rated appliance repair firm, not realizing they didn't service GE appliances (my fault).
    Within 8 hours of my purchase and inquiry I received a reply from them that they could not help me and I should seek a refund from Angie's list.
    That was a stand-up response in a very timely fashion when they could of put me on the back burner.
    If the situation warrants it, I will seek them out again for any repair they are able to help with.

  • The owner is very courteous and extremely competent in making appliance repairs.  In the past, I have called Authorized Service to repair other appliances.  Each past repair....and current repair.... was accomplished perfectly.  If I need any future appliance repairs, I always will call Authorized Service.

  • We obtained three estimates and selected Seth and his company due to a combination of expected quality, price, and reviews of prior work we've seen.  We had a specific timeline under which to get this done and they made it happen.  The materials were placed on a rush order, the guys were done with the actual job in 2 days and the countertop was installed 5 days later.  The installers were polite and really good at what they do. They addressed my concerns as they worked and during the final QA and sink/countertop install.
    The salesman who came to give us the estimate did not try to pressure us to make a deal the same day and get a better price.  The price we were given was the final price and it was competitive.
    Seth came after we signed the contract and took all the measurements himself, including a second time after our decision to install a new cabinet under which a microwave would go.  He also helped us finalize the choice of countertop design and hardware.
    Everyone who has seen our kitchen before and after is impressed.  And we love it.
    One of the big positives is that Seth stands behind the work his company does.  We've needed some adjustments in the months after the work was done and have always heard back from Seth with the issues addressed.  Remodeling a kitchen is a big investment where one expects high quality work that will last for years to come and it's nice to have found a contractor that believes the same.

  • Steve came to look at GE Profile Oven.  The unit was shutting down in the midst of cooking.  At first Steve thought it could be repaired.  The oven was about 12 years old.  After receiving the new part Steve explained to us that there were complications involved in a repair.  The new part was not an exact match for the old part.  After discussion  with Steve we decided it was best to order a new unit.  We ordered from an appliance store recommended by Steve, that delivered the unit this morning.  Steve showed up and installed the new unit.  We are very pleased with the appearance of the oven and expect the performance to be equal to the appearance.
    When we first called Steve he responded quickly and was here that afternoon.  Phone calls were returned promptly, his cost was very fair, he was knowledgeable about the appliance,  and all of our questions were answered.  We are very satisfied with Steve's service and appreciate his honesty and his mechanical ability.
    We would call Steve again if we had a problem with an appliance and will certainly give his info to friends.
    By the way - the price of the oven was less than any of the local stores.

  • Called Steve after seeing his reviews on Angie's List.  Liked the fact that he IS his own company - he is the one who comes to do the job.  Explained to him what happened on the phone, he promised it would not cost more than $100 to fix, and he was right.  Kept in touch by phone about his arrival time.   Steve was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable. and fair.  Would definitely recommend Steve and call again if I ever need an appliance repaired.
