    Phipps Soft Tissue and Spine
It went very well! I had been dealing with shoulder issues for about a year. My range of motion was severely limited. After a couple of cortisone treatments, my shoulder Doctor said my next steps were an MRI and surgery. A friend at work recommend Dr Phipps and he did a great job helping me to regain my full range of motion. He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He throughly explained my issues and put together a treatment plan to address it.

I have never had such an abysmal experience with a medical office. Dr. Hansly is a cocky young doctor with poor bedside manner. His ablility to answer questions left much to be desired since he did not answer any that I posed to him, even ones that he did not need test results to answer. He was a bit condescending, belittling my concerns that obvious turned out to be legitimate. His staff is OK. The one who hung up on me obviously could use a refresher on professionalism, but most of them held up fine against my firmly asserted concerns. I was not happy with the outcome of those phone calls, and I took serious issue with some of their policies and the professionalism of their provider, but none with them personally. That said, overall they were not the friendliest bunch. You'd think they'd be a bit nicer/more patient with someone clearly afraid of having cancer. The logic that I "would have heard from the doctor if there was a problem" is flawed for a number of reasons. One, the radiologist who filed the ultrasound report obvious found a problem and clearly stated on the report that it could be cancer. Two, the other urologist obviously saw it as a problem since he got me in to see him immediately and scheduled an MRI. They are simply making excuses for Dr. Hansly's neglect. Had he reviewed my test results, called me even once (I never got a call, to this day), or went over anything with me-- rather than just let my test results sit, results that may yet indicate cancer-- I might not be writing this review today. What if I weren't as technologically savvy as some of his other patients? What if I never read the ultrasound results online for myself? What if I didn't understand the medical jargon? I would have never have sought out the additional tests and the alternate doctor. I would still be sitting here nearly a month later waiting to hear back on what could be cancer growing inside me. Refusing to speak to me because I followed up with a different urologist is absurd and childish. This is not a romantic relationship. I did not cheat on his office. I did not go behind his back. I sought a second opinion, and I sought it quickly. It was still his office that ordered the test, it was his office that held the results, and it was his office *I paid* to look at those results. I want them from him. This round robin his office forced me through was entirely unprofessional and frankly ridiculous. Cancer is not an issue to be brushed aside, nor neglected for even a week, and I wanted a provider who cared enough about his/her patients to immediately followup on tests that he/she ordered. I wanted a doctor who would not neglect their duties. That is why I sought a new provider so quickly. I felt utterly neglected by my doctor. If you want reasonable assurances that medical results will be looked over and that things like cancer will not go overlooked, I implore you to seek another provider.

No matter what appointment time you book and even with calling ahead to see how far behind they are with their schedule. you will still sit there for over an hour and a half.  Not sure if he has too many patients but we have been with him for over 20 years and nothing has changed.  Will finally start looking for a better alternative.

They test the hearing aid and they can sync them up to my i phone.  I like that he is very professional in his demeanor.  He is a great supervisor to the people that work with him.  He takes time to explain your hearing issues with how they are based for you individually.  I have referred patients to him.

    Center For Plastic Surgery
He did a great job, I look 10 years younger. I wish my body matched my face. I felt very comfortable with the physicians. They were very cautious. When I went in for surgery, unbeknownst to me I was still taking medicating that would have been dangerous for me if he had gone on with the surgery. He had to postpone it for a week, which was fine with me. He was very cautious and didn't take any chances. For me, he did the surgery under local anesthesia. For all intensive purposes I was out cold and did not know what was going on but he did not use general anesthesia. The price was, I suppose, average. Everything came out well and I had a good experience. No bruising. I was swollen but you couldn't tell I had anything done.

I waited 45 minutes for the NP. several times. my appointment was with Dr. Landi. She spoke very fast, and did not really listen to me. First she told me the problem was my back. I had all the xray, interventional shots, Physical therapy and MRI that she recommended. All of course provided at the "factory" at 400 International Dr. Nothing worked. wasted about a year and a half of my life. After a year of telling me that the problem was my back, the last time I saw the NP, again, she kept me waiting 45 minutes, and gave me the bums rush out of the office, she glibly said "well, I guess it's not your back, go get an EMG." Nice. So, I get the EMG ( very painful ), again performed at the factory... I asked that my next appointment is not with the NP, but, with Michael Landi. When I called to confirm that my appointment was with the Dr., not the NP, I was told that the appoitment was with the NP... It is VERY difficult to get through the voice mail system at the place, which is designed to keep you from ever speaking to an actual human. Cancelled that appointment, waited another 3 weeks to actually meet with the Dr., basically to see if he existed at all. Landi was pleasant, told me that I will have an appointment with the Physical therapist, Tony, where I will get my take home compression contraption. Tony will show me how to use it, and I will be on my merry way.. Wait another 3 weeks.. Go see Tony, the PT. He says, "where's your compression board ?".. Seems that I was supposed to obtain a prescription for the board from the Dr. and go to Sheridan Surgical Supply to purchase it. The appointment with Tony was scheduled so I could bring it in, and he would show me how to use it.. a wasted appointment. Dr. never wrote the script for the compression device, this was 3 weeks ago, I;M STILL WAITING.  there is no communication between departments at this site, they just hand you off to the next money making office. The only nice person there is tony the PT, but, he still has not been able to obtain the script for the device from the dr.  I was told it would be mailed to me by the end of the week.. ha ha. Not to mention that they billed me a copay for a procedure that I didn't have. I took about 8 phone calls to get this resolved. Each individual in the billing office said that they would "look into it and call me back". I NEVER received a call back, wasted much of my time getting this fixed. What a racket. Go somewhere else. The place is beautiful, total rip off. no patient care or professionalism.

    Highland Hospital
Highland Hospital in Rochester is excellent. I love them. Wonderful people, wonderful facility and super care. The VA couldn't make the corrections on my leg. It was too advanced/complicated, so they sent me to Highland Hospital. With regard to the overall result of the surgery, it's too early to tell. It's still in the mending process. I have been back twice already. They said that it looks and feels good. I can't walk yet. They are excellent. They say that they are going to do something; it's done. They call us when they say that they are going to call us. We get an appointment there; we are in to see the doctor within ten minutes or less. I have never waited longer than ten minutes to see the doctor. They are super clean and super friendly. It's just great care.

My mom was recently ill during Labor Day weekend, called his service and he responded within 20 minutes and advised how to treat mom. The office called when regular office hours resumed to do a follow up on mom with an office visit. How lucky for mom to have such a caring provider. His office staff is also wonderful!!! He is now my Dr and I am thrilled.

    All Care For Women
Dr Ortman-Nabi noted the prevalence of certain types of cancer in my family and ordered genetic testing for me to determine whether I had the mutated genes for these types of cancer. She discussed with me the plan of action she would take if the tests came back positive for the mutated genes. I was pleased with the fact that she is pro-active and doesn't have me wait and hope for the best. I returned for an appointment after about one month where she informed me of the good news that I had no gene mutation of the tests performed.

I certainly never had a problem getting an appointment. I feel very comfortable in talking to the staff and that's the questions on that would be answered in an understandable language. The staff is very professional. Dr. Wen is my doctor and what I like about her is his professional manner. She is certainly able to answer questions and I feel comfortable in asking her any questions and she replies in an understandable vocabulary. I only wait for 10 minutes before I can see her. Their billing and administration is always prompt.
