Beautiful beautiful job. The crew assigned were friendly, neat and responsive. If there were any issues or questions, they made sure to keep the lines of communication open. I would DEFINITELY recommend Housecrafters.

Jim Terhaar was very professional and did a very good job with all the construction work we had contracted. Jim took the time necessary to do a good job and did not rush any of the work. Jim took the time to answer all of my questions and completely resolved any issues I brought up to him.

Dalex is an honest company that works in the best interest of their clients. We recently sided our home with Dalex and are currently undergoing a roof replacement at Dmitry's recommendation. He is thorough and provides thoughtful options when explaining the scope of work needed. Our previous roof, having only been 8 years old, was put on carelessly by another roofing company and poor workmanship on their part has caused ongoing water damage that could only be rectified with a new roof. We are confident with Dalex and looking forward to many "water free" years! Thanks Dmitry!

I have had D Allen & Sons for several jobs, going back to 1985 when they sided my home. It still looks as new as it did back then. I recently had a piece of the siding blow off in a high wind. One of the boys came out and repaired it using part of the piece that blew off as well as a piece that was in my garage for low these many years. You can't tell where the repair was made. Also, in 2008 they did my roof. It was a tear off and then new roof. The work was done in a day and half, everything cleaned up and good as new. 2 years later I had them come out and put up new gutters (should have had it done with the roof, but my mistake). I would recommend them to any one for any kind of job. They are prompt, professional, their prices are right on, and do excellent work. In fact, on my recommendation, they did our church roof. Don't look any further than this company as they are the best. Mrs. Lois Potts Williamsville, New York

I signed a contract last July. Several calls could not give a start date or even an "I don't know" call back. I got a call in January saying they would start that day.  I was amazed they could work in the cold like they did. Each day, they came bright and early and went to work. A crew came and tore off the old stuff. Another team replaced the siding. Yet another did the gutter work. All the workers were very nice. I was impressed with the clean up each day before they left. When the snow melted, I did find numerous bits of aluminum and vinyl and nails, etc. which was a little problem in that my dog does not wear shoes. My other problem was that an upstairs phone line was pulled out and now cannot be replaced without unsightly wire over my new siding.

The shingle job was a "10" from the start: The quote was rendered after a detailed examination of the roof requirements from both exterior and interior inspection. (Competing companies inspected from the outside only.) The work was started when promised and they worked from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm for two days. The crew was polite, professional and experienced - safety ropes and harnesses, steps; even a mechanized trash bin to save time. Hard workers. Clean up was thorough. They appreciated the Gatorade and water I made available - it was hot and sunny and they deserved it.
The gutters were installed by another provider which Dalex frequently uses. They followed the roofing install the next day (good scheduling) and were very good over-all. The gutters were installed beautifully, but I had gutter guards installed as well, but these were fitted poorly in the corners, but I caulked the gaps - not a big deal.
I feel Dalex is a trustworthy and competent company, owned and staffed by fine people. Use them.

The crew from A-Plus Gutters arrived promptly. They were polite, professional, and did a great job. They even did a small repair at no extra charge! I plan on having them come annually from now on.

the Roofers arrived at approximately 8 AM on a very hot and humid day. They began tear off and completed the tear off and replacement of the shingles the same day. The crew was very professional. They cleaned up and I never found a nail on the property. There were a few things that had to be repaired (dent in gutter and overhang) which they took care of to my satisfaction. I found them to be very professional and I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Mike came to bid on a roof tear off and replace along with gutters and downspouts.
Early on he asked about time frame and we determined his team was not available soon enough to meet my needs.
Mike still stayed and talked to me for a long time.  He made several recommendations on things to ask other vendors.
Mike asked if I used Andie's List to find contractors (I had - so he knew the ones I had probably contacted).  Since Leak Master Roofing couldn't do the job Mike actually recommended a specific competitor.
I thought Mike's willingness to assist me, even when he knew he was not getting the job, really speaks volumes about the integrity of the company.
I would definitely have Leak Master Roofing on the short list for any job in the future and to recommend to neighbors.  Mike's honesty and business ethics earned him that recommendation.

    Initial meeting
    • Dmitriy (one of the owners) was on time and professional.  He was the only contractor to go into my attic space to see how the roof looked from below.
    • He answered all of my questions.
    • He had a tablet with pictures of everything that they would be doing for my house - this helped to visualize the job.  Selecting DALEX
    • I had multiple bids for this job.  One of the contractors came and said his crew was booked for 6 weeks.  He was concerned this might mean bad weather.  He told me I should go with DALEX!  He said that he has never had to go to a job and redo their work.  They are hard working and professional.  Wow!  A recommendation from a competitor goes a LONG way for me.
    • DALEX was willing to help on price (because they were not the cheapest).  However I wanted to use them based on Angies list and the recommendation (they were also the easiest to work with).
    • Dmitriy was able to go to his truck and print new quotes as we negotiated specific pieces.  This is MUCH better than a pen marked contract.  It was specific and detailed exactly they would do.  (DALEX leverages technology to make the customer experience better).

    The Day of the Job
    • DALEX warned me to not work from home the day of the job - due to the noise.  But I was curious.
    • They were like a colony of ants!   There were about 20 of them and they got to work fast!
    • The first thing they did was tarp the ENTIRE house.  All of my bushes, shrubs and plants were safely covered.  Then they tore off the old shingles.  The tarps protected the plants, the siding and the lawn.
    • After the roof was off they started the installation.  This was very fast.
    • The new roof, gutters and vents look great.
    • For cleanup... it was unreal.  You'd have thought the foreman lost his wedding ring and had 20 guys looking for it.  They were picking up tiny pieces of debris and throwing them out.  They SCOURED the beds, bushes, lawn, etc.  They had a big wheeled magnet that they ran over the over and over.  It was great.  There was almost no sign they were there after the first day (except a beautiful new roof).

    Follow up
A roof is a big job.  I had 2 "issues"
    1. There was a tiny piece of flashing that was missing on one corner (a cosmetic issue).  I mentioned this to them when they came to collect the balance on the job.  An hour later they were there to make it right.
    2. When the first big rain came I noticed that one corner was dripping.  I called Dmitriy.  Later that day someone was there to fix it.  He txt'd (my preferred method to communicate) to let me know that it was repaired.

    Overall
    • The communication on all steps was great.
    • At one point they needed a town permit signed - they were willing to come to my office to help me avoid the burden of leaving early.
    • They were not the cheapest - but they were close.
    • They are very easy to work with and their crew is incredible.  (I would not care either way) but they did not use coarse language or yell or anything that might get attributed to trade workers.  They were professional from top to bottom.
