    Electrician & plumbing services
Yanni is a true professional. He is curteous, polite, punctual and easy to talk to. He inquires about your project, evaluates it and offers various options on how to complete it. He also explains exactly what he will do and gives you a price. Yanni is meticulous, very neat and thorough and gives great attention to detail.

    Mr. Handyman of NE Queens
Marco arrived early & got right to work on replacing the drain & faucet, since we had a fridge installed with a water & ice dispenser they hooked the water line up without installing a turn off valve. Marco was able to fix this problem by installing a valve while installing the new faucet and drain. In the bathroom Marco disconnected the broken two light fixture and the hardware and installed a new two light fixture, which looks like it was the original. This is the fifth time I've used Mr. Handyman of NE Queens and I've never been disappointed, they have done everything I have asked, they are always punctual, curteous and professional. It's a real pleasure dealing with them, I wish all contractors were like them.

    John Pastore Electrical Contractors
I am one of those people who tend not to trust anyone who does repair work.  Before using him I checked him out via Angie?s List and others like Yelp to see what others were saying about him.  I like what I saw, and decided to use him versus an electrician from a big company.  The top reason I selected him was he is a local person ? his business is about 5 blocks from my mom?s house.
I was comfortable with him because he was a very pleasant man including his associate.  He came when he said he would.  I explained what my electrical problems were - kitchen light not working, and the outlet/switch behind the TV was not working.  He tested the light and outlet/switch.
The Kitchen light ? the ballast was not working.  The Outlet/switch ? the switch part was not working.  Both were replaced.  In talking with him I asked him if he can convert the 2-prong outlet to 3-prong outlet - which he did.  He also tested the new outlets to ensure they were safe (which they were).
The price was not unreasonable either - it happened to be much less than the invoice I got from the plumber.
He was thorough and really knows his stuff.  I will certainly use him again, and recommend him to others.

    Nunez Construction and Painting
Efren and his crew achieved wonderful results. The second floor apartment was transformed from a disaster area into an appealing space. The second-floor kitchen and bath look fresh, despite the age of their cabinets and fixtures. The floors were done very nicely. The brick pointing and exterior ironwork painting were done neatly. The new overhead light fixtures, modern electric outlets, and interior doors all are well suited to the space and work well. The value thus added to the house, by very many improvements, far exceeded the price paid.
Furthermore, Efren and his people were a joy to work with. He and his foreman both understood my goals and made appropriate decisions on their own (not needing constant oversight by us). His decision to re-grout the kitchen tile work (entirely on his own initiative) made a substantial improvement to the overall result. I was very happy to pay a modest $250 to cover many bits of extra work that were not on the original contract. All of his workers were skilled and conscientious, and I was very comfortable having them in my house. Overall, I can't imagine a more satisfactory experience.

began work once all fixtures were in and from there was non stop  -   always checking on the job  -  available - workmanship was that of true craftsmen who knew their skill and were proud of their trade  the cost was a bit high but well worth the expertise and knowledge  -- if you appreciate good, fine work and perfection  extremely satisfied and please    cost is subjective to your choice of bathroom fixtures

    Warren's Handy Hands
Contacting Warren was a two week waste of my time.
I found him on Angie's List and called him on a Tuesday with the list of items to be done. He told me he was rather busy and would call me the following Monday if I was willing to wait. I said that I would in view of his good reviews. He called me the following Monday as promised and set a date for that Friday at noon. He warned me that he might have to cancel at the last minute because of a family matter and I assured him that it wouldn't be a problem and I'd understand.
Today (Friday) at about 11:45am, he called and asked me if I had parking for him (I live in a complex of 32 buildings with on-site parking for owners, and on-street parking for guests). As he had not mentioned parking previously, but had indicated that he knew the complex, I made no special arrangements for his visit. He claimed to be outside, so I suggested that he could find ample parking on the street as I had just come in and seen several available places. He told me that the spots were too far away since he had tools to load and unload. I suggested that he park in front of the building and unload his tools before finding a parking spot, and later do the same loading up (I understood that I would be paying for that time). He said he didn't want to do that as he might be blocking someone else from backing out of their assigned spot. I suggested that he park in front of the building and put a note on the dashboard stating where he was so that if anyone thought he was blocking their car, they would know where to find him (this is done with deliveries all the time). He said that he didn't want to do that either and now said that he was parked at a hydrant and would get a ticket and that his truck was too large for a regular car space. He then said, "Well, I don't know what to tell you. I responded, You'll just have to get someone else."
So, the work wasn't done and he wasted two weeks of my time waiting for him. Warren may be (or not) a good handyman, but his attitude is poor and he has little regard for potential customers. Unless you're willing to take the chance that he may or may  not show up to do the work and you have the time to wait for him to fit you into his busy schedule, find someone more professional.

    Mr. Handyman of NE Queens
I was able to secure an appt. within 5 days of my initial call. Great! Marco arrived 1/2 hour early. Even better! He looked at what needed to be done, went out to the van and got the necessary tools and ladder, and got to work. He was very friendly and professional. Despite earlier rain, he did not make a mess of the floors. He was tidy and gathered up all excess packaging, etc. and consolidated. He worked solidly for 3 hours, and then took a look at a possible future assignment. I will get an estimate from Larry soon, and would not hesitate to hire this provider again. Thanks Marco! And thanks Larry.

    Mr. Handyman of Nassau County
I thought I had a broken fixture and they were so honest he said I had a broken bulb. He did charge me because I sent him to buy the bulb. He did charge me for the visit. You promise to pay at least an hour when you hire them. I have used him before to hang up a ceiling fan for me. They were very good. They are very honest and very fair. They call and follow-up with me and ask if I was satisfied.

    Twin Star Enterprises Inc
Egizia Tile was referred to us by a neighbor. Egizia is a tile and fixture shop co-owned by Mike Wegielski who also heads Twin Star Enterprises. We were so impressed by the selection of tile in Mike's shop, we also decided to ask him for an estimate.
Mike's estimate was in the middle of the other four we'd gotten. More importantly, his company was highly regarded by our neighbor, and also worked with one crew--one who served as supervisor, though he worked as hard if not harder than his co-workers, and three others. This meant the work would be consistent and progress more smoothly than with a varying team of people who'd need time to get caught up to speed every day. The crew were familiar with each other, working in harmony toward the best result. This consistency was also reassuring; we knew each of the crew by name and could talk easily with them on the progress and ask questions without intimidation.
Most mornings, Mike would arrive with the team or right on their heels to go review the work and discuss the day's schedule. Many of the other companies we interviewed worked with sub-contractors and/or several crews and could not guarantee if anyone would be showing up to supervise. And Mike checked in throughout the day, though his doing so was never an issue; the crew was professional, prompt, polite, worked hard--rarely stopping for breaks, never mind lunch--and cleaned every area in which they worked. One of the guys even hand-wiped the stairs--eighteen steep--and the hallways leading from the front door and to the bathroom even though protective tarps were laid throughout!  Heck, every time one of the crew had to use the downstairs bathroom, they asked beforehand without fail.
Because of the great selection of tile/fixtures in his shop, and the bonus of Mike having space and taking the responsibility of storing the items before and during the job--an onus we did not have to bear--we also purchased everything at Egizia (costs of tiles and fixtures NOT included in price above.)
Though the job started about six weeks later than initially planned, it was well worth the waiting. Mike's crew (William, Orlando, et al.) showed up every day, Monday through Friday for 5 weeks straight until the bathroom was serviceable. The additional time it took to officially complete the job (one month) was due to waiting for the shower door to be measured, made and installed by Quality Enclosures. Any adjustments or corrections needed (a shorter tub spout, replacing the medicine cabinet door which was scratched, etc.) were handled by Mike and his team quickly.

They provide excellent service and very good price.  They were superb.  It is a beautifully handmade in this country. The prices were reasonable.  I found the prices within what they should be.  They were not overpriced.  The quality was excellent.  They have really good stuff there.  Their responsiveness was terrific.  Their punctuality was superb.  I will use them in the future.
