    Pacific Lawn Sprinklers
I should have picked another company because their yearly start up and winterization maintenance are horrible. Their customer service reps are the worst, very unprofessional. When I asked to speak with the manager I found their manager to be even more unprofessional and rude. It takes 3 weeks to get a weekend appointment and they make you feel they are doing you a favor . Very unhappy and would not recommend.

    alvamar enterprise corp
Marcello responded immediately when I called to set up an estimate. He came the same day. His pricing was excellent and offered more for the price than our first estimate. The crew was excellent, courteous, and worked very clean. Marcello is very pleasant. It was a pleasure having them do this job. I would HIGHLY recommend them and definitely would hire them again.

    Vinny & Son Contracting Corp.
The job is went very well. They were honest with when they would be able to start and how long the job would take. They worked efficiently. We had a large job and added on more details as the project went on. Overall we had a good experience working with Vinny & Sons and would work with them again if we needed more work done!

Went great. William and his crew are all great guys and did an excellent job. William was very patient throughout the process, despite our many changes along the way. The crew showed up every single day as promised. It was a very big job requiring a lot of digging out and leveling to address significant sloping (originally, backyard pitched toward house). They were able to pitch the patio and driveway to best handle water runoff, but still managed to make the patio surface feel completely even. In the end we are very happy with the concrete pour in the front and thrilled with the quality of the stone work in the patio. We had a fairly complex arrangement of stones and the guys did a beautiful job laying it out. Price was very good. Not the cheapest guy we talked to, but cheaper than most of the guys in our neighborhood (Whitestone) and did as good or better than any job we've seen around here.

    Park Place Pavers Inc
I found Park Place Pavers by walking around the neighborhood, i checked out a few of them, comparing their work and prices, I like Park Place's so work much better, everyone I spoke to who had jobs done by them are very happy of their work and their finishing on time.
The estimated time the owner Reggie gave me was 3 weeks to complete the whole job, with such a big job, i really did not think it would be possible, but Reggie assured me that they will finish on time, which is unheard of!
Indeed not only Reggie finished the job on time, he delivered a beautiful job (i am very meticulous, for me to say this he had to earn it); with his expertise, he offered great suggestions on the design of the yard the type of stones to use, on the color etc.
He was on site everyday, supervising his team, making sure everything is done right, he did not hesitate to have his team re-doing certain things he did not like or I requested which he thinks make sense.  He discussed with me issues of why certain things could not be done, or why they should be done in a certain way.  He is extremely professional and quite a perfectionist himself, he is easy to talk to and will go an extra mile to make things right and pleasing his clients.  There are some small details that he has promised to help me with, and I know he will come and finish them, I do not expect him to be like some of the people I had dealt with, once they get paid you cannot find them anymore.
Besides, I must applaud his leadership on his great team, they are committed, hard working and professional!
I am very happy to have commissioned him on a job that I had saved up and planned for more than 10 years!!  I could not be more happier, now that I have a nice back yard which I could relax with family and friends and in spring I envision a beautiful garden to enjoy!
I do not hesitate to recommend him!  Great job, great guy, easy to work with, reliable, no hassle!

Salvatore Lalicata does not clear out the weeds on the sea wall area as it is dangerous and will not jeopardize his workers exposing them to walking on those tvery dnagerous rocks.  This is done by another type of company  Mr Lalicata presents with his crew and is always on the property.  Once a worker got stung by a bee and Mr Lalicata went to the pharmacy and purchased medication, came back and tended to his worker.  Salvatore is a caring professional person, a family man, that lives in the neighbrohood and always answers his phone.  Anyone that has him working on their property is in for a gift.  As for pavers he did a neighbors and they are perfect, in everyway.  I personally recommend this Mr Lalicata Mr Lalicata has worked on these premises for the last three years.

    Arnoldo's Tree Service
Showed up for an estimate and  we agreed on price. I called to schedule the appointment and one was made. I took off of work so they can perform the job. They showed up a little after 5pm told me to talk to the boss because they have no time to do the job because they stop working by 5pm. . They did not perform the job I wasted a day and my time. When they called back to schedule another estimate, they did not show again. Why keep calling to schedule things when you can not perform the job. I am very disappointed and sad that I have to leave this review but I have to stay true to my fellow Angie's list members.

    Classical Pavers

High quality work at a reasonable price. Not the cheapest quote, but far from the most expensive. Most of the local contractors in Queens insist on using a concrete base which is more expensive for the homeowner but easier for the contractor. Classical uses RCA (recycled concrete aggregate) base which is what Cambridge recommends- *just make sure the workers dig at least 12 inches for driveways and 6-8 inches for walkways. RCA material is cheap, but is more labor intensive. Cambridge recommends RCA because it is actually stronger than concrete when installed properly and allows for proper drainage. I noticed that most of the paver jobs that have a concrete base have a notable amount of efflorescence, even after many years of being installed -This is due to the lack of drainage. Classical did experience some delay due to logistics. The limited space in Queens makes it difficult for local supply stores to have material in stock. Classical had to travel to Long island to get materials needed on several occasions. The workers themselves are hardworking and eager to make sure you are happy with the job. They take pride in their work and correct any imperfections discovered prior to completion. They specialize in pavers and do not really do much concrete work although they did a great job on my sidewalk. They don't nickel and dime you at all!. This is very rare in today. Most other contractors in Queens want to do the job quickly, collect their payment and could care less if you are happy with their work- They act as if they are doing you a favor. Classical's proprietor Thiago and his crew chief Adriano really make the effort to make sure you are happy with the work. They also guarantee it as well.

    Tielis Landscaping & Tree Service
I had a 25 year old weeping cherry tree that died this past winter.  I called Erik to get an estimate, and he arrived very promptly.    His price was very reasonable and his work was impeccable.  Other plants were already in bloom surrounding the tree, and they all looked perfect after tree (and stump removal).  Erik removed all debris and left my yard looking spotless, and ready for my new tree to be planted.  I recommend and would use this company again.
