Wonderfully! I needed repairs done quickly as I was putting my home on the market. Mike was able to squeeze me in on short notice. He is professional, courteous and fair. He completed all the jobs and charged a fair price. I would definitely recommend him!

When we were doing the final measuring, it turned out my garage door was 2" smaller than a standard door and would require a custom door. It took a few weeks longer, but Advantage held the price quote they had given me and installed it when I wasn't even home as soon as it arrived. I thought they were terrific.

It went very well. The appointment was scheduled quickly. When the gentleman was doing the final measuring, we discovered that my door was a few inches narrower than a standard door and a custom door was going to be required. While it delayed the job for a few weeks, he did not charge more and when the door arrived, he came while I was at work and everything was done very nicely, very cleanly and I was happy with the work and would use him again anytime.

Scott first came to evaluate my garage door and recommended it be replaced. I pretty much expected this as the really old one was not functioning properly. He discussed options and I agreed on a door and price. Scott came back the following week to take away the old garage door and installed the new one. He stayed in contact with me throughout the whole process and was professional in every respect. The new door is a perfect replacement and I am very satisfied.

    Precision Overhead Garage Door Service
Fine.  Nothing special.  They did the job they were suppose to do.  They were here a couple of weeks after I purchased it, I scheduled it right away.  There were no additional costs.  I think the scheduling and things like that are straight forward.  They weren't concerned as much about the actual service that they provided so they advertise it as a, you know the service and replacement, but what they really end up doing is they only replace some of the rollers that wear, but they won't tell you until after it happens.  To get an A rating I would expect them to be up front about those kind of things.  I guess the price was okay, it was fine.  The responsiveness and punctuality were good.

    All Door & Garage, Inc.
The company's technicians arrived at the scheduled time. Immediately, the tech, Angelo, went to work on garage. He was friendly and personable in explaining what had to be done and what problems needed attention. There was a broken bulb in Genie Pro mechanism, which he attended to.  He also pointed out that the mechanism was not secured to the ceiling and that it could have fallen at any time. He and his assistant proceeded to rectify the problem about which I was unaware.  What a relief it was to know that now, I needn't worry. Angelo programed the remote, attached an interior door button and installed and programed the key pad. Then he serviced the sensors and the belts.  Angelo and his assistant made sure not only that everything worked but also, that the garage was left neat and tidy.  What a wonderful experience I had with this company.

My experience with them went fine. We had a problem with the door but when he came here, the problem didn't happen in front of him. There was no way he could have fixed it but he did what he could at that point. He gave us a lot of choices and did the job well. Then he left and the next day the problem was still there again. But that's not his fault.

    Master Garage Door Services
We bought a $20 Angie's List deal to get their evaluation. They came by right on time, took a quick look at the door and told us we needed to replace the springs and rollers and that it would cost $250.

We felt that was a big commitment to make on the spot, so we decided to get a 2nd opinion. The next company that came by immediately observed that someone had used the red rope so the door could be used manually and never put it back. Literally 2 seconds later, they reengaged it and it worked fine. They didn't even charge us.

We obviously didn't need the spring and roller replacement that Master Garage Door Services recommended. I feel like they either misread the situation completely or tried to up-sell us on services we didn't need. Either way, we were none too pleased.

Scott was great. I signed up for the $99 assessment as I just bought a new home and the existing garage door was a bit clunky. I had wanted to get an automated door so figured I'd just have Advantage swing by and see what I was dealing with. Given my hectic schedule Scott and I exchanged several phone calls over the course of a few weeks until we were both available. He agreed that the door pieces were a little old and that they probably could be replaced for a few hundred bucks. However, I chose to have him install a brand new door. The cost was less than I expected and Scott was able to install it a few weeks later. He was very communicative throughout the process, there were no hidden costs, and the instructions left for how to operate it were very clear. Scott is definitely someone that has earned my trust and respect and would recommend him to anyone that is looking to have any garage door work done.

Scott called me the day after I bought the deal to schedule an appointment.  He was busy for the next few weeks, but since I was having a problem, he rearranged his schedule to fix it within the next day or two.  He came over when he said he would, stayed about 1-2 hours, and fixed the problem (replacing a faulty sensor).  The deal I had purchased was $99 for a tune-up, valued at $200.  I had to spend another $80 for a new sensor.
