    Adria Marble and Granite
I had to drive to the granite yard in New Jersey, they had no granite there. I selected my slabs which were then transferred to Adria and had to wait a couple of months due to contractor delays. When I went to examine slabs before the templating was done, I noticed and pointed out that they had cut off 25% of one of the slabs. They had sold it to someone else! There were many untruths throughout the process. The slabs I had selected had a lighter and darker part. They sold from the lighter part, but told me they did not see any difference. tHAT WAS THE PART i WANTED FOR MY MAIN COUNTER AND TOLD THEM SO. I returned after templating was done and told them that it didn't match where the seams would be and they again acted like I was seeing things. When they came to install, I again told them that it was unacceptable, but at this point, it would have caused a prolonged delay in the reno. If they had been honest in the first place, they should have purchased another slab. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Old World Craftsmen of NY LLC
Last summer I purchased a 1924 Dutch Colonial in need of renovation and refinishing. In particular, the main bathroom was a decrepit, low-end remodel that had to go. After interviewing several general contractors, it was immediately clear Scott was my man. He had a passion for old houses, asked the right questions, took notes, made helpful suggestions and developed a comprehensive plan. I had no doubt he would do the job right, and he did! Scott was very easy to work with, up-front, accessible, respectful, timely and helpful. He listened, studied my sketches, provided input and made sure he understood what I wanted. No problem was too big or too small. Each task was clarified and documented ahead of time, so everything went smoothly. I was part of the team and never felt pressured. When questions or options arose, or when I wanted a change, I was patiently consulted before the job proceeded. Scotts crew is outstanding. Each and every task was completed with efficiency, above and beyond expectation. Scott knows all the best local tradespeople, suppliers and resources, so there is always peace of mind that every task will be done to perfection, at a fair price. Another great thing about working with Scott is his great attention to detail, and his willingness to make suggestions and exchange ideas. The end results are beautiful and functional, but only because Scott steered me in the right direction with his knowledge and experience. When I compare my original design sketch to the finished project, its clear how much better everything turned out because of his guidance and his background in both design and engineering. And one of the worst features of the house, my small front entrance, ended up being one of the best, after Scott advised me to consider a simple change. I gave Scott an A for every category including costs. His services are not inexpensive, but due to the high quality of the work, I got excellent value out of every dollar invested. Had I attempted to be my own GC, it would certainly have been more costly due to errors, not to mention my additional time and effort. And there is just no way to put a price on the satisfaction of enjoying a sparkling new, flawless bathroom that is even better than I imagined. Scott is understandably a high demand contractor, and he is very particular about the people he hires, so work did not commence immediately. But Scott did some creative workflow-organizing to get all the jobs done as soon as possible. And once a job is started, the same crew works on it every day, all day, until its done. So everything worked out fine. I do recommend calling and scheduling an appointment as soon as you can, in order to secure your place in line. I could not be more pleased with the renovation work done by Old World Craftsmen. The company name says it all. If you have an old house, or a new one, and you want work done with old-school pride and high standards, look no further!

    Anthony Bellantoni LLC
It went completely smoothly. Anthony managed the subcontractors and installed new floor and wall tile, new drywall, painted, performed carpentry, coordinated inspections, and oversaw the installation of a new tub, sink, toilet, glass shower door, and lighting. We wouldn't use any other contractor.

    Anthony Bellantoni LLC
It went great! Anthony not only refaced an old but treasured cabinet, did the window and door installation, tile work, wood floor installation, carpentry, drywall, and painting, but also managed delivery of flooring, appliances, and tiles. He also oversaw the counter and appliances installation, and plumbing, and electrical contractors, as well as the inspections. The kitchen is beautiful. Anthony is especially expert in old Tudors; he has one like ours and, of course, does his own work at home. We wouldn't work with anyone else to preserve our home.

    Ferrari's Kitchens & Baths LTD
The entire team at Ferrari did a fantastic job on my kitchen remodel. Bob provided great design ideas and suggestions, and kept me up to date as to when the various crews would show up. All of the workers were very skilled, pleasant, and careful. They showed up when they were supposed to and cleaned up after themselves. An electrician was needed for 2 small jobs during the remodel, and the guy that Ferrari recommended was also great. Overall, everything went very smoothly and quickly, and I absolutely love the finished result! I will use Ferrari again without hesitation when I redo my bath.

    Marble Works Design Team, Inc
My salesperson was Christopher and he was great. He patiently took me through the whole process. Took me to look at slabs and found me the perfect quartz based on the color, etc. that I told him I wanted. Every time I see this Quartz in my bathroom I smile because I absolutely love it. I had to make a few changes along the way because of some miscommunication with my contractor, but Christopher did not mind and accommodated everything I needed. He responded to emails and phone calls immediately, every time. I picked up the pieces myself and my contractor installed them, everything fit perfectly.

    Ecua Stone Corp
I went to Ecua Stone and picked out the slab in person. Luis (owner) came by the house to do the template. My husband removed the old laminate countertop.  Note that you will not have a countertop from the template measurement to the installation which takes about a week.
I went back to Ecua Stone in a few days to determine how to cut the slabs to make most of the stone design.
Luis and his team carried the extremely heavy countertops up our many front stairs and installed with no issue.
I liked being able to pick out the slab as small samples are not fully representative of what varying slabs could look like.

    JR Laminators
The owner Jeff is a friendly engaging personality that clearly wants to satisfy his client.  We interviewed Jeff along with two other companies in the cabinet laminating business.  Jeff's proposal was far superior to the other two companies, one of which is a very large business with a sales staff.
Jeff was very knowledgeable of his competition and we listened closely as he spoke about the pros and cons of his company compared to the competition. We saw samples of his product and they were comparable to his more expensive competition. Along with Jeff's sales pitch we saw he had an A rating from previous clients.
So here is our experience.  Jeff wrote up a contract outlining the scope of work for the remodel and the costs.  We described how we wanted some of the custom work to be done such as a special cabinet for a large microwave and the bar counter top.  Jeff  volunteered his own ideas on how we could best get the look we wanted.  Jeff has a sub contractor named Alex who handled the counter tops.  We met him at a warehouse in New Jersey and viewed a huge selection of granite counter tops.  We were able to get counter tops that were quite unique and not like the counter tops you see on display at Home Depot.
Jeff had the laminate, doors, cabinet all shipped to our house just before he started work.  His crew was very skilled and highly efficient in getting work completed very quickly.  We inspected Jeff's work at the end of each day and the next day Jeff was onsite to make sure the job was meeting our expectations.  Jeff was very time conscious and when he said I will start work at 8am, your doorbell rang at 8am and they started to work right away.  Jeff's crew installed a new double oven we had purchased to replace our single oven.
In the end, we were very pleased with the final outcome of our remodel.  It was actually better than we imagined!

    Arta Construction
Arta construction ,undertook a complete renovation of a kitchen located in a house built in 1920.
Despite the area's underlying decaying condition the  workers reinforced the floor ,resurfaced walls, repaired the ceiling ,installed tiles and stone counter-tops ,connected new appliances and intricately lit cabinetry ,painted and completed the project without any cost over-runs.It should be noted that they coordinated their work perfectly with the other trades and were able to work around lacquered furniture without any damages.
Their  workers followed my custom plans and executed the entire task in 2 stages.
Arta construction was punctual on their appointments and flexible in ways to work with other trades schedules.
At the end of every working day the area left was neat and safe and practically dust free.
