    Jeffrey Sugar MD
There was a short wait when I arrived but I expected that as they were fully booked and squeezed me in.   Dr. Sugar was professional and very personable as was his office staff.  His office is in a private house and felt more like a family Dr then some of the big medical "machines".        I will definitely go back to him and would send all my friends and family as well.

    Noreen Linn MD
The office itself is very professional looking.  I gave it a "B" for office environment simply because the waiting area was much warmer than I would have liked.

I was also surprised that I was asked for payment before I actually saw the doctor, something I don't think I have ever experienced at any other medical office I've been to.  Did they think I was going to run out of the office without paying for my visit?  For that reason, I gave them a "B" for billing and administration.

I was first brought into Dr. Linn's professional office, where I was asked the reason for my visit, and some questions about my medical history.  While my primary reason for seeing Dr. Linn was to find out the cause of the small bumps on the end of some of my fingers, Dr. Linn also noticed the discoloration in my hands related to my Reynaud's disease, and asked if I had been put on any medication for it.  She suggested a medication that I could be put on to treat it.  She also suggested that I not take any allergy medication that contains decongestants (such as Claritin D), as this could raise my already somewhat high blood pressure.

After that, I was brought into an examination room, where I was asked to undress and put on a medical gown.  An assistant came in and took my blood pressure and pulse rate.  Dr. Linn examined my hands, toes and my ribs (because I mentioned it is slightly protruding on one side).  She decided that some blood tests would be necessary, and another assistant came in to draw blood.  When that was finished, I got dressed and went back out in the hallway to speak with Dr. Linn.

As I was speaking with Dr. Linn, I noticed that some blood was running down the arm where the blood had been taken.  Apparently, the woman who took the blood did not put the bandage on my arm tight enough, and it had to be rebandaged.  This was the only flaw in an otherwise very thorough office visit.

Aside from the blood work, Dr. Linn referred me for x-rays of my hands to confirm her diagnosis of osteoarthritis.  The office staff recommended an imaging firm nearby that I could go to which would likely save me money over the cost of having this done at the radiology department of a local hospital.
