    Orange County Mechanical
At the end of July during the hottest days of the year, I lost BOTH A/C zones at the same time in my home. Needless to say, it was very hot in the house. I called Orange County Mechanical for an estimate after seeing exceptionally high reviews from both Angie's List and Google reviews. The owner, Ed O'Hara, came over the next day, gave me an estimate and literally "walked me through" everything that was needed to do to get the two zones back up, answered all questions, and the complete cost. Since I had a "builders" A/C system over 15 years old, it used freon which is no longer available along with two very inefficient condensers. I needed to replace the whole A/C system. He didn't try to sell things that were not needed, just what was needed to have a practical high efficiency two zone A/C system at an excellent price. Before he had left, he took the time to check the A/C condensers to see if he could get them up and running, at least until he could install the new system. Fortunately, he was able to get one of them running just enough to cool some of the house and he didn't want anything for it. It two days to remove the old equipment from the attic and outside and replace it with a new higher efficient two zone Trane A/C system. He put down floor protectors everywhere, left everything clean upon completion, removed all the old equipment and debris and swept the driveway clean when they were finished. Ed and his workers were very professional and polite throughout the whole time they were installing and removing equipment. Obviously he takes pride in his work and I highly recommend this company to all my friends and family and will be using him again. A job well done!

    Expert Mechanical
It is hard to find a plumber that is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and shows up on time or even at all. Fortunately I have found one that is all the above thanks to Angie's list. I have a well water system which requires a cold water pressure tank to store the water pressure so that the well pump does not cycle on and off constantly both wasting electric and prematurely wearing out the pump. The diaphragm in the tank completely failed rendering the tank useless. I called Expert Mechanical and left a message not expecting a call back for a while along with several other plumbers. Seth, the owner, called back within an hour and took the time to get all the information needed to give an estimate. He researched what was needed and called back within 10 minuets with the estimate. He gave two options for a tank replacement and gave two prices for each option and spent the time to explain each option. Once the tank was chosen, we set an install date for three days later (called on a Friday, came on Monday). He came on time with two helpers. Only took 1 hour to complete job. He did all the "skill work" himself and had his helpers do the manual labor. Seth stated that he only uses American made tanks because they are  higher quality and last much longer. The workers were very careful and cleaned up when the installation was completed. Seth was very meticulous and very neat with the installation. I would definitely use Expert Mechanical again for any future plumbing projects.

    Acorn Plumbing and Heating, Inc
When my husband discovered the leak, he called Acorn because we had used their services before. He left a message and we received a call back within a couple of hours advising that a technician was in the area and would look at his schedule and call us back. He did and he rearranged his schedule to come to our home. He was professional and friendly, he successfully corrected the issue within a couple of hours. We feel that they charged a fair price for an emergency call and would use their services again.

    SC Peterson Plumbing
My A/C system needed a new evaporator coil and had lost all of its freon. I received an estimate from the a/c company that I had  used in the past and was very expensive. I checked angies list to find a reputable A/C company in the area for a second estimate. I saw that SC Peterson Plumbing had a very high rating on angie's list and gave them a call. I quickly found out why the company had a very high rating. The owner, Steve, answered his phone promptly. He could not talk at the time (bad cell connection) and called back as soon as he could. When he called back, he then took the time to go over several options to repair the A/C explaining in detail both price and availability of parts. He then researched the several options for price and availability and quickly responded back. Since I have the older r-22 freon (which is very expensive)  A/C system, I had a choice of either just replacing the air handler and stay with the older freon, or replace the compressor  along with the air handler and use the newer less expensive freon. Because the cost of replacing just the handler with the old freon was about half the cost of changing both, he suggested to just replace the air handler saving thousands of dollars. Steve obviously is working in the best interest of the customer. His estimate was $800 less than the first company"s estimate for the exact same amount of work  and parts. We then set up a date and time for the repair. He had the air handler delivered promptly at the house. He showed up promptly as well with an assistant. They repaired and replaced the air handler in the attic and removed the old one being very careful not to damage anything in the house. Drop cloths were put on the floor as to not accidentally scratch the floor. System was recharged (because it was colder outside than normal, it took longer than expected to recharge the A/C system) and tested. They cleaned up everything and removed the old unit. I have a heat pump for my pool and needed to make sure the freon level was at proper levels. Steve went out of his way to check the levels and did not charge me for it. I now have my A/C running again and repaired at reasonable price. If you want a plumber you can trust, I would definately highly recommend SC Peterson Plumbing & heating.

C R Wolfe Heating and Air
Two technicians arrived early in the morning and had ripped out the old cast iron boiler by 1030 AM. Then they restored cold water service to the house.  They then worked the rest of the day, getting the new unit hung and installed the piping and circulator valves and some necessary components until the end of day one.  They returned at 8 AM the following morning and worked non stop until later that day, completing the install.  Then the electrical/service techs come out that night to do the wiring and fired up the boiler for the first time testing for heat and hot water and made sure there were no leaks and the unit worked as it was designed.  Hot water is endless, and I have yet to actually use the heat since it is still summer.  The techs were very knowledgeable and actually seemed to enjoy and take pride in the neatness of their work.  They definately worked well together and always treated me and each other with respect.  They truly enjoy working for their company, and both stated  that their bosses and their company treat them great.  I hate to say this, but how many people can actually say that these days?  Another example I must add is while one tech was on the garage roof  installing the new vent, he told me my house plumbing vent pipe collar was all dry rotted out, and he would silicone it for me while he was up there.  I ran out to Lowes and bought the new one to install it, and while he was up there, he installed it for me for no additional charge.  Let me explain further that three weeks later, during the recent hurricane, the other vent pipe up on the main structure of the house apparently was rotted out as well, and water found it's way into my bathroom ceiling.  I  called around to a couple of roofing contractors and they wanted from $250-$375 to replace the other collar.
Needless to say, I ended up doing it myself later the next day for less than $10 with a friend of mine, but just goes to show what the tech saved me by installing the first vent for me.  It truly is a breath of fresh air to deal with a company that is not all about rushing in and getting the job done in a sloppy fashion with cutting corners and then asking for a check and running out.
I would recommend C R Wolfe to anyone who is reading this, and  cannot say enough good things about the install and crew.
