    Chris and crew did a fantastic job with regrading the yard, sodding, pavers and inground sprinkler system. We were looking for a one stop shop and found it with Gold Coast Pavers. Chris was very patient and made sure all our concerns were addressed which was much appreciated. You can tell he truly cares about his business and customer service as he was always reachable if needed. The guys they use are also very hard workers and got the job done fast. I would totally recommend them and use them for my next job!

    Woody's Lawn Sprinkler
    I have used Woody ( aka Joe) for 12 years. He replaced my existing system and has been my sprinkler man from that point. I have recommended him to over 15 people and they all used him and continue to use him. Why.... He returns your calls, he does not make you buy items you do not need and he is reasonably priced.

    I used them for 5 summers for my sprinkler system.  Opening and adjusting the sprinklers, closing the system, and only one service call the whole time (luckily).  I really never had any issues with them until the one service call I placed this past May.  My backyard zone would not shut off, so even when the system ran through it's cycle, the back would stay on.  So I was forced to shut the main feed into the system until it got fixed.  So when they told me it would be 10 days before a tech could come out, I was disappointed I wouldn't use the system that long, but I understood since it was the start of summer.  I even asked if there were any cancellations could they squeeze me in earlier and Bo (the woman I spoke with) assured me they would.  So 10 days later, I am waiting and nobody showed up.  When I called, they told me I never made an appointment.  Obviously I did not make up the conversation I had and the date we agreed on, so obviously i DID make one, they just didn't put it in the system.  Again, not a HUGE deal, mistakes happen.  But then came the part where I had a major issue.  I cited the conversion I had with Bo, since I take immaculate notes, and she continued to insist that I made the mistake.  It wasn't even a big deal, so she forgot to put it in the system, no problem.  Just take ownership and move on.  But no, she HAD to continue telling me that I must have been mistaken, maybe I wrote down the wrong info, maybe she called me as a courtesy but I didn't actually make an appointment, etc. etc.  Then when all else fails, she asks if I got an email confirmation about the appointment.  Obviously I did NOT since she never put it in the system in the first place, to which she said, "then you never called or made an appointment".  Then she says I will have to make a new appointment and wait ANOTHER 10 days (so that would be 3 weeks without watering my grass unless I go old school, but I don't own a sprinkler, that's why I have a sprinkler system!).  So I asked to speak to a manager and she put Angela on, who said she needs to speak to the owner, Constantino, to see if they can squeeze me in.  To her credit, she called me back within 5 minutes and said someone will be there at noon.  Well they didn't show up until 2:15, which was better than nothing at that point, but I wasted a whole day off from work for this.  Then the real kicker is when I wrote a letter to the owner about my experience.  His response was basically to blame me for not following up once I realized I hadn't gotten a confirmation email.  Well, I never knew I was supposed to follow up if I didn't get an email, or else I would have.  He also didn't address my concerns I had with the office staff and how they handle adversity.  Not a word said about it, and no apology other than a patronizing "I'm sorry you feel that way" type of response.  Nobody seems to have any idea how to handle adversity, or how to treat a customer who was wronged.  Needless to say, I'm not using them anymore, and if you value great customer service, you may want to use someone else with an owner that cares about his customers.  I am just another number to them. 

    **UPDATE** (7-28-15)
    I wrote to the owner, and he wrote a letter back with misinformation, and blaming me, the customer again.  I see why the office operates the way it does.  I wrote him back again, but have not heard from him in more than a month.

    .I was referred to of Cand C Sprinkler, inc. through my landscaper, GBR Landscape Contractors.
    We were in the process of tearing up our entire lawn, re-sodding and replacing overgrown plants and shrubs with a completely new design and decided it was time for our first sprinkler system..
    Tony from C and C was prompt to arrive , drew up a sensible plan and layout to accommodate my yard and budget .He was able to provide a very good price on a sprinkler system without scrimping on anything. He even suggested installing tiny irrigation lines to several planters we have.,Something I never though of..They were also able to repair some plumbing issues in the basement and install an additional hose faucet per my request and on the same day. Most importantly they were able to coordinate the entire job with the landscaper and the Town of Hempstead Water dept in a seamless,professional manner.The crew was neat during the process and very concerned about doing a great cleanup after the job as well.
    I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMENDED C and C SPRINKLER, inc.with complete confidence in their ability and business ethics !!

    The day before the appointment, the office called to confirm the time and actually gave me a specific time Tom would be at my residence.  He came within 2 minutes of the designated time.  Work was performed in a professional manner and completed in about an hour.

    I called for an estimate on sprinkler repairs after my entire front lawn was torn up following driveway work. Nick, the owner, came exactly when he said he would and we went over the entire job. Nick was very open and receptive to ideas and the price he quoted was very fair. We set up an install date for the following week. Nick came back with one of his workers and started right away. Again, Nick was very receptive to my questions and concerns and didn't just dismissively go about his work. One specific thing I appreciated was that Nick himself was not afraid to get his hands dirty and do the work himself, so I knew it would be done properly. He is very knowledgable about the science behind lawn irrigation (moreso than any other company I've ever dealt with), and set up my new zones in a much better layout than before. He made sure every head was properly oriented, that the spray pattern covered what needed to be covered and that the heads weren't crooked. Furthermore, because I needed less heads than initially thought in the estimate, Nick threw in a new rain sensor instead. When he realized that the new rain sensor wasn't compatible with my old timer, he installed a new timer for free. I cannot say enough about the experience I had and have already recommended this company to three other people.

    Greco Irrigation Inc. are good. Overall, they're good. They're a good company and their price is reasonable. When they got here, whatever we discussed, it was done. I can recommend them to people who want to install irrigation on their property. They're the best.

    Alternative Earthcare Tree & Lawn
    I've used this company over the last three years for both organic pest control and maintenance of my sprinkler system. I couldn't be more pleased. I most recently had two curbside trees removed and the entire sprinkler line was destroyed. The technicians were professional, prompt and answered all of my questions (and being an amateur DIYer, I had a lot of questions!). The work was done incredibly fast and the clean-up was unbelievable. Would highly recommend.

    In a nutshell, it is my opinion that they are a disorganized company with trouble keeping appointments on time. Read on for the details. First time out, I made an appt and they said they did not need to come in the house to perform the service. They came and couldn't perform service because they said they needed to come in the house. They wanted to charge me $80 for the visit. They told me to call for another appointment. Second time, I made the appointment, they said the couldn't give me a time window. I explained that I don't live at the property and needed some idea because I needed to make a special trip. They said they would call the night before and let me know. The night before, I got the call as promised and was told they would be there between 11AM and noon. I got to the house at around 10:45. I waited around until 12:45 and they still hadn't shown. I called the office. First, they told me someone called in sick and so no one is coming. I told them that they were irresponsible. They took my address and put me on hold. They came back and said someone had been there at 10AM and left because they couldn't get in (sure enough, there was another $80 invoice (missed service call) in my mailbox). I pointed out that I had an appointment for 11AM to noon. They told me to call the driver and work it out. I told them I didn't want to call the driver, it wasn't my job to do that. They said I had to. I said I'll call another company instead. Their response: "OK ".
