    I found A&R on Mitsubishi's list of trained and certified installers of their ductless systems. I chose them over some larger companies, and it definitely turned out to be the right decision. Art and his assistant, Bill, installed heat pumps in 5 different rooms in our house as well as two separate compressors outside, which required working multiple days. You could tell they knew what they were doing and had done this kind of work hundreds of times because the system looks very professionally-installed with no corners cut, unlike some horror stories I have read about and seen photos of where the installer is clearly not trained and tried to be in and out as fast as possible. On the contrary, what impressed me the most about Art and Bill was their dedication and attention to detail. They stayed past 8:30pm on a Friday to make sure that two units were installed in two bedrooms before a weekend when the temperature and humidity were going to be very high, so that my senior citizen parents wouldn't suffer before they came back to finish the project. It was also pretty hot that day they did the work and were outside most of the time! We wouldn't have gotten that level of service with a large company. The whole time, they were always friendly and respectful to us in their demeanor, as well as to our house by always cleaning up after themselves. You would be hard-pressed to find better than them!

    A week ago, we woke up to a very cold house, during a very cold spell, on a Friday. I called Mako because I have used their services on other occasions, for emergencies and otherwise, and have always been satisfied with their responsiveness and professionalism. This time was no different. I spoke to Nancy first thing in the morning. Although their technicians were fully booked for the day (as one would expect during a cold snap), she assured me that she would do her best to get someone out to our house as soon as possible. I think it important to mention how much I appreciated that the very first person I dealt with at Mako was so kind and competent. Nancy set the tone for the entire experience. Several hours later Stefan arrived. I was immediately impressed with his confidence and competence. We have a two-zone heating system, the trappings of which can be confusing to some. Not so for Stefan; he assured me that he wouldn't leave our residence until the issue was resolved. Several hours later, true to his word, we were back in business, heat restored. An added bonus, he cleaned up the area before leaving. A+, all the way.

    The fix was straightforward, had to replace the AC blower unit motor. Garmer handled the task expertly and with great customer service, despite them discovering an unusual screw installation from the prior owner which caused the housing removal to take a bit longer than they initially anticipated and first quoted (which, if you've owned a home, tends to happen somewhat often as equipment of this magnitude usually can be more complex than they first look). The only thing I would suggest is that they re-address their pricing. This job ended up costing around $1,200 to change a blower motor where the part itself probably was no more than a few hundred (final bill was delivered upon completion) - was estimating maximum $1,000 given their guidance throughout the job. At a certain point, it may make sense to give the customer a flat project fee as opposed to remain on hourly labor billing as the crew is trying to re-assess to avoid customer sticker shock and alienating future work. I respect the crew, the work they did, and value their labor, but believe the pricing is high. I would like to stress that I would recommend and would consider using them again simply because of their expertise, customer service, and responsiveness as they do great work, but would be more critical of the price ahead of time.

    We had an awful experience. Whoever the company sent was violent and aggressive. His first words were to threaten to kick my two toy sized dogs that were no threat to him at all. He had no sense of professionalism and had an emotional and violent tone with me. I simply asked him not to speak to me that way I understand that the dogs are frustrating because they bark a lot but would never and have never bit anyone but I will be sure to get them out the way. He just became more frustrated began to kick toward my dogs and cursed at me and my family. He did not seem like he was in the right state of mind and I wish I got his name. He���s an older White Male, wears glasses, and long white hair long enough to cover the back of his neck.

    Absolute Crooks! Uses whole lot of different names and companies. Uses unqualified guys who can only communicate by text messages cheat you for your money and make promises to send back guys which never happens. 3 days in the waiting and still promises out of $ 450 for 15 minutes service and the boiler shut down as soon as the repairman was out of the drive. Should not be allowed to practice any plumbing and heating work. YOU WILL ONLY REPENT THEIR SERVICES SO BE WARNED.

    It went well. Robert was able to diagnose the problem very quickly. Apparently the condensate drain line needed to be cleaned "blown out", which Robert did efficiently. Overall, I was very satisfied with his professionalism, review, and solution.

    It was no cost because I have a contract with them, I don't know how much it is. They were good. I don't remember what the price is, I would presume they were fine. The responsiveness was fine. They were on time. They were very professional.

    They were terrible. First they came out, they estimated it at $6,000, and then next time they came out they added $2,500, and then they added more, and I ended up not using them because they kept dragging their feet and adding to the cost. I would give them a solid F. They kept changing the price. I can't grade the quality because they did not do the work. The interaction was very unprofessional. They would play this game of setting up the job, set a date, ask for a deposit, and then comes the date, don't show up, and then when I called them, they would ask for more money. That was the game. First they priced the job at I think $7,000, set a date, didn't show up on the date, without any kind of notice. When I called them the day of, nobody would respond. The day after, nobody would respond. The following day, they would say they can't do it for $7,000, it has to be $8,000. Set a date for a week down the road, and then again, don't show up, same thing, ask for another $1,000. We went through that loop a couple times. They have a system of delay, then ask for more money.
