  D&L Hardwood Flooring

  First of all, there was a lot of heavy furniture to be moved, and job foreman Andy was sure that the moving was handled well and the job began and finished smoothly. The sanding was well done, but when I saw some areas that I wanted to be made even more even, my wishes were respected. Originally, I wanted the floors to be coated with a clear polyurethane but then decided to use a dark-colored stain. Jason, the company owner, came right over Owner Jason, is very professional. He came over right away when I asked for a quote, and when I wanted to add the staining process to my job, he came over to explain color choices and the cost involved. No surprises. I intend to use D and L again in the near future for my den.

  I am very happy with my "new" floors!  Marcin is very responsive and a true professional.  Quote was provided within 24-48 hours after initial contact.  Once I accepted his quote he proceeded without delay, work started immediately.  The entire job took around 2 weeks, and Marcin was on the job site every day.  He does not skip from one job site to another.  He devotes 100% of his time and workers to one job site before moving on to another project.  The new floors look beautiful and I highly recommend Euro Floors.   Working with this company was a pleasure.  Daniel was very professional and knowledgeable.  He pointed out things and made suggestions that other companies I received quotes from never mentioned, like the wood upstairs was a different species wouldn't stain the same - which was appreciated insight.  His crew finished a day ahead of schedule which is not usually the norm in my experience.  Also, when there was an small issue that needed to be touched up, he had his crew come immediately the day he saw it and was taken care of same day.  Great service, great quality, great overall experience.

  It would be great if all contractors met the standard set by Daniel and his crew.
  He reponded to our initial call promptly, came out to assess the job, and provided a reasonable estimate.
  When we had questions, we would E-mail him and he always responded the same day.
  When it came time to do the work, Daniel and his crew showed up right on time.  While we had cleared the areas to be refinished, there were three large furniture pieces that I couldn't handle myself and Daniel's crew graciously carried them downstairs.
  Everything was properly taped off and there was hardly any dust raised in the rest of the house from the sanding. The areas needing replacement were carefully removed and replaced with wood that closely matched the original grain.  Several areas with old water damage were sanded to clarity.
  The red oak stain went down smoothly and resulted in a rich uniform color.  The work was done so carefully that we had hardly any touch up to do on the baseboards.
  Three coats of water-based poly later, we had great looking floors.
  As part of the job, we asked Daniel to stain and poly new banisters that we had installed at the same time.  Again, the work was done well.  Because the bainisters were not dry in time to get a poly coat, the crew came back a few days later to finish up -- and take the heavy furniture pieces back upstairs.
  All in all, an excellent experience and I would be happy to recommend Daniel and his crew for any floor refinishing job.

  Grout Doctor

  Grout Doctor came and went right to work . 6hrs later my bathroom looked brand new . Not only did he do the shower stall but he did the tub area and the floor . Amazing !!My only problem is that the bathroom looks so good now it makes my other bathroom and kitchen floor look awful. I will definitely be calling the Grout Doctor again.

  D&L Hardwood Flooring

  Jason arrived promptly to appraise the work that I wanted done, and I was very pleased with the price and how he added the closet to the job at no extra cost.  He was able to immediately email me a record of his estimate for the bedroom and for other work I want done in the future. 
  On the day of the job, his crew of two men arrived earlier than expected, which was fine with me.  They immediately got to work and were very professional in their attitude and the quality of the work they did.  The floor in question is 102 year old pine, and some stains in the floor would not totally come out, but Jason had already told me that this might happen so I was prepared. Nevertheless, his crew worked very hard to do an excellent job, the floor looks great.  They cleaned up after themselves, and there is very little dust.  
  I feel that the sanding and two coats of latex polyurethane were perfect for my needs.  I chose not to go with the oil based polyurethane because it is summer and an I wanted the job to be done and dry in only a few hours instead of days.  My job started at 8 and ended at before noon.  Jason arrived to inspect the work to be sure that I was satisfied.  I couldn't be happier.

  We called for an estimate and heard back soon after.
  Marcin came over to give us an estimate and make suggestions.
  lHe gave us advice about stain color and finish to match parts of the house that were not being redone. He and his partner came on time. They worked very hard with great care and precision. The process was neat and clean. The floors came out looking even better than expected.Would use Euro Floors again and recommend them to anyone.

  1st Class Carpet

  1. Mike the owner was great. He was very punctual and gave me the best price for a top quality carpet.

  He would always answer and return phone calls, and even met me again for  a second remeasure to make sure of the size.
