    Westbury Toyota Service Center
Is it possible to give them zero stars? Brought the car in for an annual inspection and 25K mi service. They recommended rotating my tires, so I opted in. And they said it wouldn't have passed inspection without new wiper blades and changed all my filters. They also said I needed new front brakes and rotors because it was basically metal on metal, even though the car drove perfectly and none of the dashboard indicators came on, and that I'd need new tires soon. I took the car to a place nearby where I get my other non-Toyota car serviced all the time, especially since they specialize in tires, brakes, etc. They looked at everything and said everything was perfectly fine... SEE YA, Toyota service. Thanks for throwing my loyalty and trust out the window. Never coming back, and I'm ****** because I probably didn't "need" everything else they said I did. I look forward to trashing your crappy business and bottom line priorities on every website I can log on to.

We use them for oil changes and we use them for virtually all of our mechanical work on our cars. They're honest. We go there all the time because they are honest mechanics. They're very good; they explain everything.

Everything went very well.  I actually arrived at shop late in the afternoon (1 hour before closing) and Bob Balducci still managed to get the job completed.  Some of the required parts were not in stock in his shop but Bob managed to locate them nearby, get them delivered to him and installed on my car.  All staff were very professional and kept me informed throughout the process.

This is not the first time I have brought one of my vehicles to Balducci's for service.  Every time I have had service performed there, I have been fully satisfied with the work performed.  I have recommended Balducci's to friends, clients and anybody else looking for auto service.  So far, all I've heard art good reviews.

I brought my wife's car in for an inspection. They first tried to tell me there was a short in the system cause a tail light was out. So we were freaked out cause he was telling me it will cost a fortune, and the car won't pass inspection without the light. And he told me he can't finish the inspection cause he can't get the wheels off cause of the locks. Btw, the key was exactly where I told him in the trunk, but this was over the phone cause we left the car there. So he was trying to scam all this money out of us to find the short in the system! So I felt suspicious and brought the car to another place, the guy changed the tail light bulb and the car passed inspection! And on top of all that Bargoil still charged us for the inspection!!

They're awesome. I'm a big fan of them. I'll grade them overall definitely an A. They have excellent demeanor. They know how to work with somebody who is a lessen knowledgeable car owner. They provide honest advice without trying to sell anything so that's nice. They make sure that my car is safe. They kinda bring me in the garage and show me what's going on. They're very thorough and professional.

    Platinum Volkswagen
One of the worst for service that I have ever seen. Brought my daughters 2013 Jetta there for an AC problem. They couldn't fix it the first time. Brought it back and got a loaner. Called to get status after a full day and my service advisor informed me that the car hadn't even been looked at and that it was his managers decision. He put me on with his manager and the first thing he said to me was "what the h*** do you care, I gave you a Passat which is a better car than the Jetta anyway." He then asked me if I purchased the car from Platinum and I told him I did not. I asked him if he was insinuating that I had low priority because the car wasn't purchased there? No answer. I then said that he has an obligation to fix the car. It's a new VW under warranty. He said he has no obligation to fix my car, that the dealership is independently owned and he only has to fix cars that were purchased there, in other words, he was doing me a favor. He then told me to be patient and hung up. About a half hour later he called my house to tell me that he spoke with the owner of the dealership and that they have chosen not to fix my car and that I need to come over and return the loaner. I said OK and that I would return it the next day at my convenience. I then went out and went on Facebook and other social media outlets to let people know about what had happened. While I was out, this "manager" called my house and threatened my wife, telling her that I wrote on Facebook and I better be careful because I don't know who I am dealing with. He then demanded she put me on the phone. She told him that I was not home and he hung up. He then called back a few minutes later again demanding that she put me on the phone. My wife again told him that I was not home. He couldn't understand that I was posting to social media if I was not home (ever hear of a smart phone). He then told her that I better return the car by noon the next day or he would report the car as stolen. People need to know about this dealership. Spread the word.

I contacted Specialty Conversions, Inc., along with several other similar type companies to rent a wheelchair accessible van.  My wife, who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis and is wheelchair bound, had just been scheduled for numerous tests and procedures over a three day period at various locations.  Normally, I am able to transport my wife using my car and her manual wheelchair by lifting her into the car and folding the wheelchair into the trunk.  Once or twice a month this is a possible, yet still difficult task to accomplish.

However, with so many tests at so many different locations, this would not have been physically possible for me...or her.  After contacting several companies advertising wheelchair accessible van rentals, I was disappointed to find that many did not have vans available at short notice or the price to rent was so extreme that it was prohibitive.

As I was just about to give up the search, a receptionist at one of the firms I called recommended Specialty Conversions, Inc.  I contacted them and connected with Danny, the owner of Specialty Conversions, Inc.  Danny immediately took hold of the situation and clearly was sympathetic to my situation.  Within minutes, Danny had selected one of his on hand vans which would accommodate my wife's power wheelchair and offered it to me at a greatly reduced rental price since I would be renting for a few days.  Additionally, Danny agreed to stay late at his showroom in order to give me time to get there.  Once there, I was amazed at the quality of the vehicle and the ease of the whole transaction.  Lastly, Danny even arranged for me to keep my car at his lot, take the van home that night, take my wife around on her 2 day whirlwind medical test adventure and simply drop off the van when I was finished.  If I happened to run late, Danny even set up a way for me to drop off his van and pick up my car in a secured location.

Being a caregiver, especially to a spouse, is difficult enough.  People like Danny and his firm help to make it just a little bit easier and the importance of that cannot be stressed enough.

The window now works perfectly and since the tune-up my 2001 car (which has 160k miles on it) runs as if it is brand new. If you need a tune-up ask for Michael, he has magical hands. Really, I can't get over how well the engine on my car runs since he did the tune-up. And for a very thorough, thoughtful and professional inspection, ask for Victor. Victor is a true mechanical scholar and a complete gentleman. These individuals are some of the reasons that American Muffler is a true gem and has such a large, loyal following. Go there and you'll be amazed at how many customers have been going there for years and years because the prices and quality of service are so great. Enjoy!

I took it in this morning and it will be ready this afternoon. They're always very quick with repairs. They gave me all the prices for the parts, plus all the prices for the labor. I think they're pretty fair, I have used them for several years and they do a good job.

It was really expensive because it's a dealership. They gave me a full estimate ahead of time that was very detailed and in writing. You can also look at your equipment on the internet and it's very detailed. I found that to be easier than doing it on the phone because they give you lists of what can be wrong with your car. I remembered some things that I hadn't thought of when I first called. It was very helpful to do that online. They are very polite and very well-organized. They have that service where they drive you home and pick you up again.
