    I was looking for someone to install a part another repair service had purchased because the other service was giving me a hard time. This was a very simple installation of a new control board to Kitchen Aid Refrigerator which had recently had detailed maintenance and had no other problems. Very easy. Paul was rude and angry for no reason. And he called me at 7:45 AM waking me from a sound sleep and never apologized. He gruffly told me to go call the other service and hung up on me. (Hey...he called me before business hours. I didn't call him.I don't know the man.) I know that he hung-up because he did not pick-up when I immediately called back. And he never responded to my message. It was NOT an accident. Although I did not know this man, he treated me with an alarming degree of hostility even though I was being polite and nice to him. So I called the other recommended service later on that day and they were extremely nice and professional. The other service that was professional and nice to me offered to help me if I couldn't resolve my issue with my current appliance repair service. (Normal and expected behavior) But Planet was so rude and nasty that I would never bother with them again. Honestly, I don't think that that was issue for them. I mean, I was hung-up on while I was talking. And my message was ignored. And I would not know this man if I walked by him on the street. Enough said.

    I received many phone calls from aggressive sales personnel. I some research on my own and found many, many negative reviews and a C rating from BBB. At next call, I explained this and the sales person claimed that you have to pay for a better rating from the BBB. I would clearly not recommend such an aggressive and dishonest provider.

    As usual Steve was fabulous. This was my mother-in-law's range, and she had actually already ordered a new range when I told her to call Steve. He came, gave her the estimate, and constantly called to apprise her of the time it was taking for the order to come in. He called her before coming and installed the part and the oven works beautifully. Steve is the most reliable, honest repairman I have ever used, and I continue to recommend him to whomever I can!

    Initially, it took a little while to find the leak, but Kenny, the technician for Mr. Appliance eventually found it. He said I needed a new valve and he would have to order the part. I was hoping he would fix the machine in the same day, but it wasn't looking good.
    It turns out, he was able to pick up the part at a store that was all the way out on Long Island and be able to come back in the afternoon and install it. The install was less than 20 minutes. Kenny went above and beyond for me.
    The communication was terrific between Mr. Appliance and myself. Kenny called before he was scheduled to come and called again after he got the part.
    I absolutely recommend this service!

    Called several places Friday late after noon and left messages. Saturday morning Park Avenue Appliance returned my call, (no one came over, (no one else did) discovered the source of the leak, said he would get the part on Monday and install it. He was true to his word and by Monday afternoon we were doing laundry again.

    Very professional service.  Punctual, friendly, efficient.  I had an Angie's list coupon deal and found the service to be reasonably priced--certainly much cheaper than buying a new dishwasher (as my spouse wanted to do).  I will call these folks next time I have an appliance repair issue.

    They came to my house in early September because of a noise when the dryer was running. They came into the house and tracked mud all over the floor. They diagnosed the problem and said they would get the part in a few days and call me for another appointment. After one week they never called.  I would call them and they kept telling me that the part would be available in a few days but after 4 weeks the part finally arrived and it took them another week to fix the problem. The dryer still does not work correctly and I had to get another company to finally fix it

    I called Steve at 2:30 and he was at my house by 3:15. He pulled out my drip pan and saw it was cracked in the middle. He repaired the drip pan and it stopped leaking. He told me he would order a new one if I wanted to however he felt it was not necessary. He is an honest dependable appliance repairman. Am I dreaming? This guy is hands down an angel of mercy. Most consumers, including myself are quite ignorant when it comes to broken appliances. We are usually at the hands of unscrupulous individuals. Then Steve comes along and changes that opinion. Save yourself a lot of time and aggravation. Call Steve. He is honest, professional and knowledgable. You can't go wrong with this guy. I would use him again in a second!

    The service call was promptly answered and we were so pleased with the quality of the work. We had a problem with the freezer section of our refrigerator . As the work was being performed by Joe Giordano we were kept fully informed of the situation and cost factor. An outstanding job by a true professional (something that is very rare these days). Would recommend his company to anyone having a situation with an appliance.
