    Tiberia, Dr. Nicholas
I had been suffering from a plantar factious for about 5 months and it wasn't healing itself. My mother had been referred to Dr. Tiberia f for the same condition and referred me over to him, stating that he was able to arrange to work with a Physical Therapist to make the orthotics that she needed at an affordable price seeing as her insurance would not cover it. I went to the office and was able to get an appointment for the following week. However it did take nearly 45 minutes for them just to put me in the system. (My grandmother waiting in the car thought I had gone for a complete treatment by the time I finally got back to her.) When I did see the Doctor. He was very professional and only running a little bit late. He diagnosed me quickly and recommended a night split to start until we could get orthotics made. He said that he had an agreement with the supplier and that he would give it to me at the time and then I would be billed directly from the supplier. I asked how much it cost so that I made sure I could afford it. He said 'around $40'. Three months later I received a bill for $126.05.
As for for the orthotics, he said that I needed to contact the insurance to get approval for them. I said that I wasn't sure this was the way that I wanted to go and explained how my mother had come to him and he had sent her to another office in the same building to get them. He seemed confused as to what that could have been and insisted on scanning my feet at a later appointment and that he did everything in the office. I tried to force the conversation again and still not answer. I asked several times about the cost for the orthotics, stating that I had a high deductible insurance and even though they would 'approve' it I would still need to pay the whole amount, and that I didn't want to be going through with something that I couldn't pay for. Both the doctor and his assistant brushed me off again. I was told the orthotics would be ready in about 3 weeks. Five weeks later I called the office and asked about them. They said that they usually don't give them out until the insurance has come through and that they were still waiting for the payment. If I wanted them right away then I would need to pay the $500 for them , or at least a $300 deposit. Once again I explained that the whole reason that I had come to the office was on recommendation from my mother who only paid about $120 for her orthotics. A that this point they finally said, and quot;Oh, the doctor must have referred her to the PT at the next entrance to the building. and quot; The same situation that they couldn't recognize 5 weeks earlier! I told the admin on the phone that I had spoken multiple times trying to get a price range from them and they wouldn't entertain the conversation, so they would need to hold the orthotics until the insurance came through because that was not in my budget. Two months later the office called me to say that the orthotics were in the office and that the whole amount went to the deductible and I only needed to bring $500 into the office to get them. Once again I re-iterated to the admin that the amount was not in my budget and they would have to wait until I could get that amount of money together. She said that she could pull it from the insurance and then I would only owe $300. I told her that was still double what I had budgeted for the orthotics and that they would have to wait since they had refused to engage in the conversation that I kept trying to have with them before the whole consultation began back in January.
Although he may or may not be a great doctor, if you do need to know about money before accepting treatment, this clearly is not the place to go.

    Billing, Dr. Lee D
I was going to another foot doctor and he didn't do anything. I started going to Dr. Billing and he diagnosed my problem right away. He prescribed something and it took care of it. It was unbelievable. He diagnosed me with gout and took care of it. The pain is 95 percent gone. I had a flair up and called him yesterday and they saw me the same day. I haven't had a problem with anything.
