    Renovace Development LLC
I need to renovate my bathroom completely and found Renovace and contacted Dave. Happy for my decision, everything started and finished on time as promised. They even cleaned the bathroom once finished. Great experience!

Took the money $1750 and did not show up to work. Cancelled appointments several times. Demanded I pay in full before job started. Did not offer to give me references for the job I needed which is tile and hardwood, said he worked for Home Depot - when I called them, they said he onl does carpet installation. Took $250 from me for a roll of tar paper I can get at homedepot for 17.50 Unprofessional, do not hire him.

Bathroom was stripped to the sub-flooring, tub removed & that area stripped to the studs. Exposing a glass block window that had been covered for 30 years. We had tile installed in the shower and the window was tiled around. Peter Casal did a beautiful job. There was also new door, medicine cabinet, toilet, light, & new linoleum floor, everything was very professionally done. There was a snow storm one of the days and he and his helper couldn't get back, he called. The next day they were hard at work again. We are very happy with the results of our remodel.

    • Walked me through step by step of what was going to happen.
    • Had an appointment to pick out everything for the bathroom.  While this sounds like fun, it is very stressful and the team that I was working with could tell I was getting stressed and changed the way I was picking out each item.  Then it all came together and I left very happy.
    • Started a week earlier than they gave me.
    • Had a lock box on the house, never saw the crew, but they left everyday with a very clean area.
    • It almost was like Christmas when I came home from work to see what was done each day.
    • Called me when they found an issue, (I knew they would find something) walked me through it and told me what they were going to do to fix it.
    • Office called me to let me know when they would be back.
    • Little did I know, my neighbor was keeping an eye on what was going on and told me after the end of the project that they were very professional while they were at the house.
    • They told me the job would take 2 1/2 to 3 weeks and they were right on.
They tore out my flooring, ceiling, walls.  New plumbing was installed, new electrical work was done.
Everything new was put in.  I didn't originally have a medicine cabinet, and they put one in.  I wanted a corner shower, which the plumbing would have to go on an outside wall, so additional insulation and changes needed to be made to protect the plumbing from the cold. They suggested to put in a smaller vanity to give me more room in a very small bathroom, and it looks fantastic.
The bathroom is more than I thought it would be.  Absolutely love it.  I show it off any chance I get.
This is the second major project I've had Ivy Lea do and again, they made the job stress-less.

    Advantage Hardwood Floors

Dave and his team were in and out in 2 days. All work done to my expectations. Dave was honest and upfront that some of the existing stains on my floors would not come out completely. They fit me in much earlier than expected. There was no mess or dust left behind. I had another estimate years ago by Dave at another house and although we did not hire him for that job due to a family member helping us out, he left a positive impression on me so I did not hesitate to hire him for this job. Everyone comments on the floors when they enter the house.

    Town & Country Floor Covering
They were very friendly and helpful from the very beginning. They helped me pick out vinyl floor by bringing samples to my house and letting me see them up against the cabinets and walls. We had a very thorough quote and the work was done quickly and done well. They even sealed the back hallway where you might walk in with wet boots.
I'd strongly recommend them for any vinyl floor work. Very friendly and helpful people.

It went very smoothly.  Came on time everyday with a crew of men that were courteous and professional.  They protected our floors in the house and cleaned up after themselves.  I had purchased a vanity from Ikea that we put together wrong Rick and his crew were great and fixed it and it looks beautiful.  They could handle any problem.  What is a great benefit when your hire Rick is he and his crew  are capable of doing everything.  Fine woodworking, tiling, plumbing and electrical.  So for any job you need done in your home I would highly recommend this contractor.

    Kenny Carpet

We had a very disappointing experience with Kenny Carpets.  We chose our flooring at the West Seneca Kenny Carpet store on Transit Road.  Our salesman was Mike.  He was helpful and advised us about the pros and cons of each type of flooring.  Mike said the installers would move up to 2 pieces of furniture if needed and that he would schedule someone to come out and measure the floor.  The man that came to measure was very pleasant, but I thought it was a little odd that he requested we remove all of the molding because it could get banged up by the installers if we left it for them to remove.  Nevertheless, we removed the molding and everything in the room except a twin bed frame.   The installation was scheduled for 10/4/12 at 10am.
On 10/3/12, I received a message from Loretta at the West Seneca store confirming the installation time.  About 15 minutes later I received a call from a man named Jerry.  He said that he would not be able to have an installer come out the following day because the installer had cut his finger and he had no one else who could do the job.  He then said he would not be able get an installer to come out for another week because they had other jobs to do in the meantime.  I explained that it would be difficult to wait a whole week because we had already moved the furniture to other parts of the house and we also disconnected a gas stove heater and the room would not have heat.  I explained that my mother has dementia and the disruption makes life very difficult.   Jerry said there was nothing he could do and he couldn't "sew the finger up".  The  installation was then scheduled for 10/11/12 at 10am.
On 10/10/12 I received a message from Loretta confirming the appointment.  Again, about 15 minutes later  I got a message from Jerry.  He said that he saw we wanted the installer to come after 10am (allowing time for me to drop my mother off at her program).  He said he wanted to come "much earlier" like 8am because they want to "get it done".   He left his phone number and said I could call him any time night or day.   I was able to make arrangements for my mother and decided to let them come at 8am.   I called Jerry and left him the message.
Unbelievably, at 7:59am on 10/11/12 I got a call from Jerry saying he didn't know when the installer would come.  He said the installer has MS and might be "coming down with something", he said he couldn't get in touch with him and didn't know where he was.  I reminded him that he had asked for the earlier time.  I also told him that I had gone to the trouble of making alternate arrangements in order to accomodate them and that I expected the installer to arrive shortly.  He said he would have the installer call me.  Kenny, the installer, called at 9:15am and said it would take him about an hour because he had some other things to take care of first.  He arrived a little after 10am.

Kenny was by himself.   He asked for our help with moving the bed and with bringing the flooring into the house.  It's important to note that the installation cost was $600.00 and we didn't expect to be the installer's helper.  Kenny completed the installation, collected the balance of the payment from us, and left.
We got a call on 10/12/12 from Mike.  He asked if we paid the installer with a credit card.  I said no.  He said that we needed to pay the balance.  I said we gave the installer a check.  He asked who the installer was.  I told him it was Kenny.  He said he would get in touch with him.  He asked how everything went.  I told him I was on the way out but would call him later.  I called Mike later and told him everything that happened with scheduling the installer.  He said that they don't do business like that and that he would be in touch with the service department to get to the bottom of it.  He said he appreciated that I brought it to his attention.  I told him that I had also noticed a bump about 4 inches long and 1 inch wide right when you walk in the door to the den.  It could not be pressed down and was easily visible in a high traffic spot.  He said he would send an order to the service department on the following Monday morning.   It is now Tuesday evening and I haven't heard anything from Kenny Carpets about fixing the defect or the inconvenience of having the installation rescheduled 3 times to accomodate the installers.  I called Mike seeking follow-up and he just gave more excuses.  We continue to await a response from the service department.
We still have carpeting in five rooms that needs to be replaced and would  prefer to work with the same company but, after such a frustrating experience, we will definitely be going elsewhere.

The carpet was put down but the seams were very visible. I noticed that the carpet looked awful instead of one color it was mottled. I called since April and received no response just empty promises. In fact I could not even get an invoice for over 1 1/2 months although my credit card was billed immediately. The worse carpet anyone who enters my house has ever seen
