    Dr. Manfredi came to the house-was WONDERFUL, calm, caring. This is so hard, to euthanize your pet, that you have had for 16 years...Dr. Manfredi made this hard tough decision, a peaceful and beautiful experience. I will never again have my pet euthanized anywhere but at home. It is so worth the extra money you pay, compared to bringing your dog to the vet. You are at home, no stress for your dog on getting to vet, for my pet, it was just another day at home. So peaceful.

    My experience was excellent. I sent in a claim, which they paid promptly. I received a letter from them saying that if my vet sent in the vet's notes on my pet's treatmenet, they can send me additional money based on the notes. I have never received anything from any insurance company saying we paid your claim, but we may be able to send you more. I sent in my vet's information, and as a result, Nationwide paid me an additional $97 on top of what they already sent me. I was very satisfied.

    Healthy Paws Pet Insurance
    They are excellent. They have an app on my phone. They are a life saver. They really were good. I have an automatic withdrawal from my checking account for like $36 or $37 a month but it is so worth it. I don't have to worry about paying the bill. They paid out a h*** of a lot more. The bill was about $2800. The phone app is excellent to keep track of your claims and keep check of your dogs health records. Not regular records, just for the care that they pay for which is any kind of emergency: any emergencies at all.Their customer service is so helpful to get all the documentation from the hospital. They basically will leave you out of it if they can deal with the hospital. They know what the codes are just like a human being and they were on top of it with that. It is really convenient. You also get notifications from them like if they didn't get something they'll let you know that they are waiting for it. They're not doctors just insurance agents. The customer service, everybody I dealt with was very professional.

    Healthy Paws Pet Insurance
    Healthy Paws is simply a wonderful insurance company. Our 3-year-old English Mastiff, Jeff, has had medical problem after medical problem -- skin, ear, and eye infections, tick-borne illness, kennel cough, giardia, you name it, he's had it. In the three years we've had him, there have only been a handful of months that we haven't ended up in the vet's office. The only saving grace through all this has been Healthy Paws. They've been there for us every time. Prompt. Friendly. Caring. Simply lovely. It's like working with a friend instead of a company. At one point, they even asked for a photo of Jeff so they could get to know him better. And, they are so efficient. Last Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, Jeff had to go back to see some specialists. Healthy Paws sent us a notice of reimbursement, which covered virtually everything, that night, hours after his visit. This company is truly amazing. I couldn't imagine going with another insurance company after working with Healthy Paws.

    I haven't put any claims in with them yet, so I don't have any interaction to judge their service by.  The policy isn't the cheapest, but it's supposed to be the most comprehensive.  So far their customer service has been good as far as answering the phone when I have called.

    I recently adopted a cat and purchased an insurance plan through Healthy Paws, and was I glad I did!  About six weeks later my cat needed surgery for what turned out to be a blocked bile duct.  The vet bills were staggering (I live in Manhattan, so you can imagine!).  Healthy Paws paid out on my claims in less than a week!  I (and my credit card company) were thrilled!  I was very happy with their service and their follow up emails to check on how my cat was recovering.  I highly recommend Healthy Paws.

    I guess it goes by how old the pet is or something. You can pay the bill monthly or up in one shot with them. They’re good. The better coverage you have with them, the more it runs you but the better their coverage. I pay less than $1,000 for my 2 dogs. I’ve had them since my dogs were still puppies. Anytime I had a claim with the insurance, I take the dogs to the vet. You have a form that the vet must fill out and them mail or fax that form to the insurance company. You’ll get reimbursed usually about 3 weeks to a month. The last time I used them, I got like half the money I spent on the vet. So it wasn’t too bad. When you call them, they’re gonna ask you if you want the vaccinations or the dental care.They'll give you different options on the coverage.

    Healthy Paws Pet Insurance
    I've purchased pet insurance for the past 12 years. My biggest issue with the company I previously used, VPI Pet Insurance was how hard their policy was to understand. I purchased the most expensive policy because I wanted only the best for my Bichon Frise, Blue (April 14, 2001-June 6, 2009) How foolish I was. Blue was diagnosed with Kidney Disease in March of 2009. I sadly researched the disease more than I did pet insurance. After extensive treatment to help prolong his life, Blue was sent over the rainbow bridge on a Saturday afternoon surrounded by not only myself, my husband and our two daughters but 6 loving family members who loved Blue like he was their own. When all was said and done. All I was left with was a huge hole in my heart and $6000 in debt from vet bills that were accumulated trying to save my boy's life. Why all this debt? Well, VPI at the time felt that Kidney Disease was a genetic and or hereditary disease and they did not cover anything they considered genetic or hereditary. Shame on them but honestly, I was the biggest fool to not research pet insurance for my furbaby rather than use the most popular company at the time and trust that they'd be by my side at time of crisis. I've heard they've since changed their policy but honestly, I don't care. They lost my trust and till the day I die, I will share my story with every friend and or acquaintance I meet. I'm a dog groomer so there will be many. If I can save one person from going through what I did financially, that's all that matters.  As most of us know, through tragedy we learn life lessons. One of mine was to do your research. We now have a 4 year old Bichon Frise named Charlie, 3 year old Havanese, Joey and our Tuxedo cat, Louie who is 7. I did my research and chose Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. The policy is so simple to understand. There's only three things they do not cover.  They do not cover annual healthy pet exams and vaccinations, pre-existing conditions and the examination fee from your Vet/Specialist for what ailment they are being treated for. They also offer different policies that will fit your budget. It's that simple! My 3 year old Havanese, Joey was just diagnosed with Glaucoma in both eyes. My heart sank. I sent my very first claim to Healthy Paws. I could not believe how fast their response was and best was, they kept their word. They were right behind me in crisis!  They don't have a cap to what your vet can charge for what ailment they've been diagnosed with because we all know this varies, a lot! But, most importantly, their customer service is fantastic. You're not just a policy holder, they truly are compassionate pet loving people just like you and I. I brought to their attention that a bill was overlooked. I received an email apologizing the following day and to let me know that they took care of the overlooked bill. A check was immediately mailed out to me that same day.  They've also keep up correspondence with me to see how Joey is doing and have encouraging words of wisdom for me... thank you Jen! You may ask yourself, do you really need pet insurance? I will tell you this... when the time comes where your furbaby is stricken with illness, tears an ACL, eats something they shouldn't have or has a simple ear infection, you'll be so happy you have it. In one month of treatment for my Joey, I've already been reimbursed for what I spend on insurance for Joey in one year. It's actually has covered what I pay for one of my other pets as well. This is a chronic condition and there will be many more bills to pay. I've already spent less paying for the insurance including the deductible and vet examination fees than I would have if I had to pay for Joey's condition myself. I'm not worried at all because Healthy Paws Pet Insurance will be right beside me so that I can worry about my baby and not the added expenses as well.

    They are great. When my dog got sick, they were responsive. There was no argument. Whenever bill came, they paid it. When talking with them, they really care about animals. They really care about their service and there are no hassles. The price seems comparable with everything else.
