Garage Door Repair And Installation reviews in Webster

    Precision Garage Door Service
Repaired my garage, it works, and was quick. No complaints there. I am a little disappointed on the pricing/value. When I made the appointment I was told each spring would go from $89-$149. Going into it, I figured worst case it would be $300. I had shopped around and most places were around $220. I figured I would go with Precision based on the feedback and since I have used them before and was willing to pay a little more. I was also told your springs are much better than the others. What I didnt expect was to have to pay another $50 to replace a center bearing. Tech said I had a plastic bushing before and it had to be done to ensure a proper install. I am sure this is the case, maybe but it would have been nice to know this ahead of time. The three other places also told me I didnt need to replace the bushing so maybe I was upsold. Maybe they are doing an inferior service. I can only go by what they told me. I was also told you guys use the highest end springs out there hence the increased price. They dont seem to look like the green ones on your website and the tech also claimed this stuff isnt American steel and from China so it should only last 7 years tops. Once again, who knows if they are really better but the tech didn't seem to think so. I will probably be looking elsewhere when it is time for a new door (which is soon) or any other service.

    PROFETTA GARAGE DOOR CO
Door spring broke on Labor Day, so called Profeta first thing on Tuesday AM. I actually called 15 minutes before their official opening time and got an answer n the second ring. I described the problem, and also asked if I should repair it or replace the door. After a brief discussion I decided to just repair it. he gave me a price right then for both options, which factored into the decision. He promised someone would be out "later this morning". However, I had a pleasant surprise when the repairman rang my doorbell about a half hour after my call!! I showed him the problem and he got right to work. After replacing the spring he checked over the rest of the door, adjusted the door opener, lubricated the rollers and thoroughly tested it. It works smoothly and flawlessly. The total onsite time was less than 45 minutes and I was good to go. I've used Profeta several times previously and have had similar excellent experiences. I highly recommend them!

The technician called and said he would be earlier than the anticipated time slot.  I gave him permission to enter the garage, as I would not be home until after he arrived.  He called shortly afterwards and told me that there was a component inside of my 15-year old opener that had worn out.  The replacement component would cost $250 or it would be $450 to replace the entire unit.  I opted to replace the entire unit.  By the time I returned home, he had already taken down the old unit and was installing the new one.  The technician explained exactly what was going on and said he would let me know when he was finished.
When he was done, he helped me connect the opener with my car (Homelink system).  The system is so new that it was not compatible with the technology in my car, and he came back a few days later with an additional receiver so that it could be setup properly.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the entire experience and would highly recommend Precision Door.

    Felluca Overhead Doors Inc
Steve arrived precisely on time and the job was finished in 3 hours. He replaced our 16' old wooden garage door with new door. I was surprised he was alone but he was experienced and able to do by himself. Installation was first class and he left the area clean. Overall I was pleased with Felluca. One minor issue was they were not proactive in scheduling my installation. The door had to be ordered and it was only after I followed up with them 5 weeks after placing order did they admit door had arrived and they could now schedule install date. This wasn't a big deal for us since we were in no rush - just seemed odd that they wouldn't be on phone scheduling install as soon as the door arrived.

I called three garage door companies in an attempt to get a broken spring replaced on the Friday of Labor Day weekend. One said they could come the following Tuesday and the other told me Wednesday would be the soonest they would come. Upon calling Felluca I was told they would come before noon of the following day.
The technician showed up Saturday morning, as promised and had the door operational within 30 minutes. I was not charged weekend rates. In fact the price I paid was less than half what I was charged by Roly Door 4 years ago (albeit for Sunday service).
I will definitely use Felluca Garage Door Co. in the future.

e work was exactly that.Work was performed promptly and professionally. Service man was friendly and explained what he was doing during all phases of the job (he did not mind at all having me present throughout his work).
After he finished the repair, he showed how to maintain the door and what lubricants to use.
He stressed the company position of providing prompt service 24/7/365 and ensuring customer satisfaction.
He left the job clean with a door that runs so quietly that guests remark about it.
I rarely rate excellent but in this case th

One door had buckled; they no longer carried the same door so I was forced to buy two new doors or have doors that didn't exactly match.  Workmen were polite and timely with repairs. However, when they left I swept my garage floor and driveway although they had already done so. Good thing I had because I swept up several long screws and nails which were left on the garage floor and in my driveway. Approximately 2-3 weeks later, my dog and I (on separate occasions) both tracked grease onto my new family room carpeting when the door opener which had been overgreased dripped globs of heavy black grease onto my garage floor. After some argument with Tracey that this was their fault, they only agreed to pay half toward my two carpet cleaning bills.
