    Adam Solutions LLC
Jim Adam and his son James were very professional. I was very busy with my honey do list for getting ready for our daughter due in a few months. I tore out all the old carpet and wanted new floors put in upstairs. I decided to hire this out. The job went very well. I was glad Jim talked me out of transitions as it has been fine so far. I think the way he installs it around the door jambs is by leaving a good gap in there in case the floor expands and contracts. This way the floor will not separate. My uncle who also had the same floors put in by another company and it done without transitions. You just risk the warranty but it looks a lot better. There were done in three days and he even took the time to put base moulding on a wall that had been added to accommodate a baby gate. Jim made a nice stair nose that matched our floors. We only had one issue near our bathroom with the reducer strip. The reducer strip was adhered to the floor and unfortunately the floor expanding and contracting caused a small gap between the plank it was adhered to. I had to tap the plank back into place to remove the gap. No big deal. However, I wish the metal strip was used beneath the reducer strip to a attach it. Only reason I can think of why it was not used is because the plank is narrow in that area. So it might not of worked. I left the silicon but had to remove some of the adhesive to fix it. I may try using adhesive again or I will reach out to him to see if he can make a matching reducer strip that can just be nailed down like he did with the stair nose. I am not going to dock any points for this. I was able to fix it and I could make a reducer strip out of wood if I had to that would probably work better. I just wish it was communicated why the metal strip was not used beneath. Overall though Jim did an excellent job communicating every step of the project to us. Overall I am super pleased with the installation and the new floors. I would hire Jim again no question. Maybe for a bathroom renovation someday.

We are at the very end of a kitchen remodel and we couldnt be happier with the results. From tearing down walls, boarding up windows (and adding new ones) to re-routing plumbing and electrical, Bob and his team did a fantastic job. There were mistakes and errors but Bob and his team without hesistation, were very apologetic and fixed their mistakes. The project did take longer than expected; however, there were issues that were out of Bobs control (aka Lowes). My Husband and I are beyond ecstatic with our new kitchen and very grateful we choose him out of four contractors we interviewed. Thanks Bob and Tom!

    Harman Hardwood Floors
We called and made an appointment for someone from Harmon to come out and give us an estimate for installing new hardwood flooring on the 1st floor of our home. the appointment was made, then confirmed. The person never showed up, our phone calls and emails were never returned. They lost the sale and work from us. To just 'blow off a potential customer is extremely unprofessional.

Four Points Remodeling & Design Center
The crew arrived and covered the floors, stairwells and portioned half of the room off so nothing would get dirty.  Roger and Corey were professional and accommodating along the way.  They informed us of what they were going to do each day so we could plan ahead. In the end we were extremely satisfied with the quality of workmanship. Jim and Missie also checked in with us regularly and they helped us from the very start with the design and picking supplies. We would go with Four points again! No surprises, just great service and a well run operation.

    Christian Flooring - Webster
Bathroom: went well. We did the research on the vinyl tile and are happy with the choice. The installer explained and did a good layout and install. The adhesive and grout and quick setting (compared to ceramic tile) so the ~100 sq. ft. job was done in a half day. Only had a few small grout holes to touch-up afterwards. Bedroom/Hall/Stairs: went so-so. They delivered the wrong size carpet (12' vs. the 15' width) so we ended up with a seam we didn't want and are reminded of every day. We could have sent them back and waited another 2-3 weeks, but this was the last step in the remodel and we didn't want to delay finishing the job. The installers were contract to Christian and while respectful in their interaction, were not careful in their installation. We had more damage to repair than there should have been. So far, the carpet and padding look good but it's only been a few months.

    Premier Hardwood Flooring
Great! A side note - the well-known other "hardwood floor people, that starts with a H" never showed up for a scheduled appointment for an estimate, never called with an explanation, never returned calls/emails. - We'll never use that company. Stick with Premier Hardwood Flooring - you'll be very satisfied.

    Rochester Linoleum Carpet One
The products were great, but the workers are junk. The first day, one of the two workers called in sick. That put them behind. The next day, they were both here, but obviously in a hurry to get out of here. They left about an inch and a half bare floor leading up to my cabinetry. They told me they couldn't cut strips that small, as it would crumble. I offered to go cut them myself. They took off the quarter-round, but not the molding. They put the quarter-round back up and left a rubber kick plate, I guess for us to install ourselves. The holes are still showing. On the thresholds into the kitchen, they didn't pre-drill the aluminum strips. Instead, they pounded nails straight through, which split the linoleum in that area, left sharp edges on both sides, and an elevation of about 1/2". On the sides of the walls and on the threshold, they cut 1/2" strips that they grouted in and worked fine, despite their claims otherwise at the cabinet area. They reinstalled the quarter-round in some areas, but not others, leaving some places blank. They threw away the rest of it, because they couldn't figure out where they went. I called to complain, and they said they would replace the quarter-round. However, finding a cut that matches my molding, let alone the right stain and polyurethane is next to impossible. They sent "Bob" or "Rob" out to take pictures of all the issues, and we also found air pockets and cracking in the grout, caused by the rushed job. He totally agreed with me on all of these issues. We also found where they had replaced some linoleum in the entryway. In that area, they installed a very ugly aluminum threshold strip that doesn't even sit flush to the ground. They cut it with tin snips, and again didn't pre-drill, which left dents in the metal and more sharp edges. As it stands right now, my grandson can't safely play on the floor because of the job they did. They also left my stove unbalanced when they put it back in the kitchen, so now it doesn't light like it should. They were supposed to come back today to address these issues, so I took the day off work. They called this morning to cancel. I wound up cutting some of the vinyl myself and grouted them in, and removed all of the quarter-round and molding. I bought more molding and re-installed it myself. I haven't done anything with the kick plate yet, because I'm waiting for them to come back and address these problems. They came back and went through and fixed the problems. they outsourced it, they didn't have enough workers so they hired an independent individual to come do the rest of the work, he did a good job, went above and beyond.

    Floor Coverings International
The installation went smoothly.  The vinyl flooring and carpeting were installed very professionally and flawlessly.  The installation crew was punctual, friendly and professional.  They moved my furniture around as they worked and put everything back in its original place without damaging anything.  The company offered a wide selection for the carpet and flooring and the representative I dealt with (Yann Quere) was very knowledgeable and helpful.  They also actually offered higher quality carpets at a somewhat lower price than some of their competitors.

    Dec 2014 to Jan 2015:
For a 20'x10' room it took SEVEN visits to get the job done. They even charged me for work they originally agreed to do, but never actually did. Installers showed up multiple times without the proper materials or even an understanding of special considerations for the job that needed to be done. I believe that's the fault of whoever runs the service department as the installers weren't told what the job entailed, even though they sent somebody out ahead of time to take notes/measurements. I've gotten the run-around from them for weeks on getting the refunded for the work they didn't do, and I've given up and just filed a dispute with my credit card company. One possible explanation is they are operating like its the 1980's. All forms are carbon copy, nothing is done on a computer. Work orders are filled out by hand, and if a mistake is made filling it out they have to start over. This is probably why the service department has no idea what's going on. I imagine its just piles of paper everywhere. It's really not worth the aggravation.
1 year later they just threatened me with legal action over the amount that I was forced to dispute with my credit card company, which was $300 (out of a $2500 job) for not leveling the floor before installing hardwoods over the top. ONE YEAR later! They had 30 days from when I filed the dispute, to dispute that themselves. I guess it took them a whole year to find the letter from my credit card company. Think twice before doing business with these people, it'll haunt you long after the job is done.
