    After dealing with a large Capital Region company for 20 years; I am glad I made the switch to Veritas Heating and Cooling! I wanted to replace my aging Central A/C unit and furnace BEFORE unexpected major problems/expenses arose that would put me in a position where I would need to ���rush��� into getting estimates/new equipment installed. I found Veritas Heating and Cooling through careful research on HomeAdvisor and Angie���s List. What finally convinced me to get an estimate from Veritas was a neighborhood recommendation I received while asking for an HVAC company referral through the ���NextDoor��� neighborhood social media website. I contacted several area companies and received estimates, but after meeting Adam I was convinced his company was the one I would go with. Adam is very professional and honest. He did not try to ���upsell��� me with features and equipment that I did not need. He asked me key questions and recommended the Heil equipment level I needed based on my answers. Adam is a competent, experienced craftsman, and his prices are fair. His competency and experience were evident throughout the installation and equipment start up process. Adam was very efficient and he has an excellent work ethic. Adam was willing to work with me with the installation time frame as I was not ready to install for 4 months after signing my contract. Adam ���locked in��� my pricing with a 50% deposit, and performed my installation as per my schedule (there was a 10% price hike coming at the beginning of 2019). Veritas Heating and Cooling is now my go-to HVAC Company! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

    Terrible service. They would not give me a time they were coming out until the last minuet making it hard to plan to be home. When the service man arrived he also brought a salesman with him. He barely looked at the unit instead letting the salesman run the visit. The service man had minimal knowledge about the unit deposited the company having the equipment information prior to the visit. The tracked in mud all over the house not trying to be neat. They did not listen to the information I provided or my concerns. They were only interested in making a sale. They charged a service fee even though they did not provide an actual service. Terrible experience from beginning to end. I would not use them or recommend them in the future.

    This is a very long review recounting my experience. I wrote this to give others the info I wish I had before choosing this or any vendor. Crisbos has a great rep. My experience may only be due to an unethical or incompetant sales rep or it may be systemic. Very hard to tell SO. I hope all the detail is helpful to you when you shop for HVAC contractor. . I have a very serious air quality problem I need to solve. After speaking to me at length, the solution necessary was provided to me by a nationally ranked institute/expert with whom I have worked and trust : the recommendation was an air to clean air exchange HVAC system. These systems do not clean the air in your house; rathet it exchanges (not mixes) air in your house with outside air that has been cleaned. Prior to talking with the expert, I had another contractor install a high grade Aprilaire HEPA filter which did a pretty good job but he was frank it might not resolve all issues due to age of the hvac system. With expert recommendations in hand, I shopped for a vender who could install the correct system. Most honestly told me they did not have significant experience installing such systems. . Crisafulli agreed to meet, noting they were experienced in this area. The sales person assigned to me, and after configuring an $11,000 sysyem, assured me the system being put in place would act as an air-to-clean air systems, and solve the problem. From the first evening installed to almost one year later, I have experience breathing problems and a daily carpet of fine dust left on my floors throughout my home. The Cris rep's first excuse was that my registers were not configured correctly, fixing the problem by jiggling the registers handles. Then in our final conversation, after several other visits or conversations, when I called to tell him the outside unit was slipping off the poorly configured slab, he said my windows probably caused the problem. During that conversation I asked if the filter(s) installed on the furnace were HEPA filters...he said no...because they were expensive, ---$300 plus.. and he noted the one he installed was just one level down from HEPA. ( I assume hehad forgotten he had told me the filter being installed was the best in the business,) At that point I realized he was either incompetant or a shister because if one is trying to solve a clean air problem, and was spending $11,000 to do so...why on earth would you not offer the best filters. Could he have chosen to downgrade the filter after I asked for a better quote..resulting in about a $350 savings...approximately.. I have no proof of that but I wonder. NOW, as I continue to have serious challenges, I have asked another vendor to thoughly check the entire installation for accuracy of configurations, connections, materials used, possibly remounting of the outdoor platform and more, and almost comically, for the price the installation of a hepa air filter.

    As usual for a home tune up on a boiler, readings were taken and that was about it. Because of the age of boiler he didn't want to disturb it too much. What surprised me was he didn't bring any oil to oil the unit. Basic step but he couldn't do it.

    Great, Aaron was on time, professional and honest. He didn't try to sell me on anything, last year when I had the AC service the guy tried to tell me I needed a whole new system. I would highly recommend Wheeler Heating & Cooling to anyone I know with complete faith that they would be as satisfied as I was with the quality of service and the professionalism of Aaron.

    Bob arrived right on time.  He was very nice and also very professional.  He  explained to me what he was doing, and helped me change the filter on my furnace, where the air comes in.  He was great with my new kitten.  Very friendly guy.  Would use him again, and recommend him to others.

    I arrived at my home in the evening of 12/9/14 to find the temperature at 40 degrees. I needed to call the answering service more than once to get a call-back. The woman who called to ask what the problem was, was polite. She said she needed a credit card before she would schedule a service call because it was evening (about 9pm). She said off-hour service calls were $156. I gave her my credit card. The serviceman arrived between 45-60 minutes later. He checked the furnace and determined it was fine, but the thermostat was not working and did I want him to install a new one. I agreed. He ask if I wanted a programmable or digital thermostat. I said digital. He installed a thermostat (that could be purchased at Home Depot for about $50.  I signed a credit card receipt for $199.64.I believed that was the total cost of service call plus thermostat.

    I reviewed my credit card statement and found the charge for $199.64 on 12/9/14 and another charge for $172.75 on 12/15/14.  I do not believe the charges are accurate or fair.

    As a customer of Choice Heating and Cooling, the company serviced my furnace in August 2014 and did not find any problems with the system.

    One guy came to do this and it took about half an hour to 45 minutes.  He left area very clean no problem.  He also gave me good advice on filters and explained to me that if you go with the cheaper ones you just use more costing you more money.
