    We called Capital Gutters based on Angie's List reviews. I spoke to Eddie. I let him know that our gutters were leaking and needed to be repaired and/or cleaned. He told me he would try to come to the house to assess the situation as soon as possible, and would call beforehand. He called the very next day (Saturday) and arrived at the house shortly after he called. He told us the gutters needed to be cleaned and required only a minor repair. He gave us what we found to be a fair and reasonable estimate. He was very honest. He did not try to sell us anything we didn't need or want. We agreed to have him come back to do the work as soon as his schedule allowed. Eddie called two days later (Monday) letting us know he would be at our house to do the work shortly. He was prompt, professional and very thorough! He did an excellent job and solved our problem completely! We now understand why Capital Gutters has such a high Angie's List rating. All businesses should be so professional!!!

    It went well. Jeremy is a very pleasant, professional person. He did a good job with the gutters, and we discussed the possibility of my getting the deck pressure-washed & stained in the Spring, and the best way to go about that. One thing that impressed me was that when I mentioned that it was physically difficult for me to shovel snow off the deck in winter, he offered to help if needed.

    Reuben responded promptly to my email, remembered who I was and where I lived, and showed up when he said he would.  He cleaned the gutters and let me know when he was done.  He emailed my invoice.  He is reliable and honest and I am thinking about having him estimate the cost for a different service, as well.

    I had a terrible experience with them and they never ended up doing the work and another company did it for me. I called up to make an appointment and then was asked to confirm it, so I confirmed it over voicemail. I then got a call later in the morning from Alan leaving a message saying that I had not confirmed and if I didn't confirm he wouldn't show up for the appointment. His tone of voice was kind of rude, but maybe he's just a gruff person. I called back and received the voicemail again and left a message saying I did confirm and expected him to show up and then the receptionist called up and said that she was sorry because she was ill in the morning and the voicemail was on a lot and it was her fault and he would show up for the appointment. I was working at home which I do a lot and he was supposed to come after 1:00 or 2:00 in the afternoon and he didn't show up and eventually the receptionist called me back and we went through a whole thing of directions to get here. We went on Google and I showed her how you can find the development looking through Google maps, so he didn't show up and at around 4:00 in the afternoon she called me and said that he couldn't find it. I've been here for almost a year and this is the first person who absolutely couldn't find it. She rescheduled me, but she said that they didn't have an appointment open until the following Tuesday. I made the appointment but then after I got off the phone I thought this was nuts. This was all their fault and they should have made provisions to show up on Friday morning for me when I said that I had a problem. My neighbors had somebody that I had met once who also shoveled and plowed and also cleaned gutters and stuff and so this gentleman came over and I just contracted him to do this line of work for me. I cancelled the appointment and then I got a call from someone else saying that she wanted to know what had happened and something about I did not confirm an appointment, so I called her back and told them that I already had somebody else do it. I gave her a little information about what happened and she said that my name was still on the list. Maybe it was glitch. It was just no communication between this first young lady and Alan. In the past year I've had to work with a lot of contractors and this was by far the worst experience that I had in terms of their performance or lack there of. I think what they did was so unprofessional that it was ridiculous. Maybe it was a bad day and the young lady was very sweet, but he never called personally to apologize which he should have as the owner.

    We agreed on Monday 10/29, but had the good judgment to recognize that, given the high winds from the pending hurricane, this wouldn't be safe.  He called and left a message saying that he'd try to come back as soon as possible after the weather cleared a little.  He then called to check & said that he'd do the job on Wednesday.  I came home, the gutters were clean & the downspout bracket had been re-attached, and I was a happy camper.  He sent my invoice by email, as agreed.  A very easy experience, and I feel better about facing the rains &  snow of the oncoming winter with clear gutters.
