ADishaw Plumbing,Heating & ACFantastic fast and friendly service. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Our boiler went out and after inspection he presented all of the options available . Terry also offered us the loan of portable heaters for the house so we would have heat. We could repair our 30year old system or replace it for not much more and bring everything up to current standards. They ordered the new system and installed it. We also had them replace our hot water tank and it was still significantly less than a previous quote from one of the bigger companies for just the furnace.. Terry called me the next morning to make sure everything was wondering properly and to schedule a follow-up to double check everything. Service of this quality is hard to find. I would highly recommend using them for any of the services that they offer. We will be having them do our insulation very soon.- Don G.

AJones ServicesGreat. Greg was very personable and explained all our options on installing a new central air or air/heating unit. Current a/c is due for replacement but Greg found a circuit tripped which took care of the issue for now. AA&R Mechanical ContractingLast week my 30 year old AC compressor unit decided it was tired of spinning the fan around and shot it into the wire cover. Fearing the worst I called Sarah at A&R mechanical. This is the height of AC season and she told me I couldn't expect to get a new unit before September but she would send someone by as soon as she could. Allan arrived the next day, assessed the damage and said he would see what he could do. I got a call from Sarah later that day letting me know she found parts in another state and would get them in a few days. The parts showed up this morning and Allan and Sean were here in an hour. I've used A&R before as have a few of my friends. They are trustworthy, fair and when the unit finally kicks I will have them replace it!- MIKE D.

AGREGORY PLUMBING & HEATING INCJesse was our plumber who came and checked it out. Determined that pipes leading out to the septic had "backflow" - he kept at it, using a snake to determine if there was a blockage, and then even locating the top to the septic tank and digging down to get to the top and open it and check. Sure enough the tank was full, but he also ran a snake, discovering a complete blockage out on the way to the leech field. Which is why the water was now backflowing into the septic pipes into house, So he did good detective work, followed through, and diagnosed the problem. Then had to call septic company, etc. to empty tank, dig up and lay new pipes.- Diana F.

AOne of our AC units broke down in the midst of a heat wave a few weeks ago. Before contacting Sinnott's Plumbing and Heating, we had some bad luck with a company that was not able to figure out what was going on in the outside unit that kept burning the fuses. I made some calls around and was finally referred to Sinnott. I hadn't been aware that Sinnott would repair A/Cs. The office staff I spoke to was very pleasant. She promised to send their most experienced technician Frank the next working day, adding that Frank was the kind of guy who should be able to solve the mystery for us because he was naturally curious, very thorough, and had experience of 40 years in his profession. Frank showed up in the morning and asked all the right questions. He was observant and was a systemic thinker in his approach to difficult problems. And he was an excellent communicator and explained things clearly to me. I was not surprised when he identified the culprit (one of the wires with faulty connection) and corrected it for us. Our AC unit has been running smoothly ever since. In the future, if we have other issues, we will be sure to contact Sinnott and ask for Frank who is a real pro. Thank you, Frank. Saugerties

The technician worked in a very difficult location and performed his skills without complaint and even worked thru his lunch time. AExcellent ! I’ve been a customer for 5 years. initially, when I purchased home, second day there, I wake up & furnace went out during night. Frigid winter. 20 degrees outside. I contacted the installer the original owner hired 6 years earlier listed on side of vent. A company on William St, Cheektowaga, NY. Tech came out. Said “ broken part. $ 500 + labor and warranty on entire 95% efficiency furnace not transferable to you second owner. So, it’d be wiser to replace furnace & get new warranty. The old “ if you were my mother, I’d be so concerned for you keeping this one”. Approximately $ 4,000. Put 50% down & scheduled install. Something just didn’t seem right... So then contacted Capital Heat, Depew, NY who I had install furnace & C/A when I owned a townhouse. Nick, the tech came out. He said “that part isn’t broken. It’s dirty.” He cleaned, did all the testing for proper levels of functioning. EVERY one in proper range. He gave me percentages & told me to contact that company, give them #s & demand credit back & cancel install. This month contacted Capital Heat. Emergency removal of whole house humidifier system. Mold causing me a hospitalization. Owner, prioritized & had system removed a few days later even though booked solid for weeks. Capital will always be my company.

AAwesome, stress free experience. Royce and his partner Jake (?) were outstanding. When our truck load was 160 lbs over the truck's weight limit of 8,500 lbs, they removed their spare tools and equipment and drove the 890 miles with no more than 1/2 their fuel load to stay underweight. Nothing damaged and they were so helpful in getting all our furniture and boxes into the right places. Protected walls and floors and disassembled and reassembled beds and tables without issues. Outstanding and would hire them again. Thank you!

AI was extremely pleased with Simply Installs. Certainly one of the very best contractor experiences I've had. Technically, they seem very knowledgeable; they're nice guys and easy to work with; they show attention to detail (they brought mulch to put around one of the outdoor units that was being placed in a plant bed); they took good care of our house (wore booties, put down temporary mats to walk on); they were reliable; they came back after the job was done when I had questions about some minor trim work and the thermostat settings. I'd hire them without searching for another contractor if I had additional HVAC installs.
