AConcrete Safeguard by BCIWork was excellent. They arrived ahead of schedule. I had a mess that was done by a different contractor. They spent all day stripping, washing, cleaning and preparing the concrete. They even helped uncover the pool and move a few items out of the pool area. Check the photos the first two were before and you can see how nice it came out in the last three photos. I would not hesitate to hire them again. I wish more contractors were like them. AWEBSTER PAVINGwe contacted the company to tell them we were prepared to seal the driveway. They had sent us a reminder that we should seal it again this year. They gave us a date range with the promise to call us the night before they were going to arrive. They called and completed the sealing of the drive within the initial timeframe. They called the night before. We were gone when they arrived. When we arrived home, the drive was sealed and everything was extremely neat. Great job. AMARZANO PAVING INCWe could not have been happier with the work that was done. Mr. Marzano came to give us an estimate just a few days after our call - he arrived promptly at the appointed time. It was clear he had a great deal of experience as he spoke about what would be best for our situation. He measured the driveway and gave us a written quote on the spot. A week later, on the day he promised, his work crew arrived. They were all pleasant and professional throughout the time they spent on our property. Work was finished the following morning, as promised. We are delighted with Marzano's Paving and will have them come back next summer to apply black-top to the driveway.- Debb L.

DThey showed up with what was left over from another blacktop job and scraped the leftovers into the area requiring repair. Even though I had personally prepared the site by squaring up the edges and clearing out the "road dirt" that was present, they chose to not level and properly compact a good base for the blacktop patch. They had brought stone to set the base right, but despite my objections that they hadn't done the job adequately, they chose to dump what they considered extra stone rather than spend their precious time getting it right. Despite my objections,they "did it there way" and assured me they would come back and "fix" it if the job didn't meet my expectations. The patch was horribly blended in and even agreed they just didn't have enough leftover blacktop on the truck to do it right. After a very difficult and now adversarial dialect between us, they finally showed up with another truck with minimal blacktop, much of which had already hardened and had to be reheated with a torch to get it out of the truck bed. They had also forgotten to bring any full propane tanks so they "borrowed" a tank from me, and after using most of it a up, they gave it back with not so much as a thank you or offer to pay for all the propane used. Once again there wasn't enough leftover blacktop to do the job right, but I was told this was the last work they would do be. A
n't afford to put any more time or effort into my job. Even though they had only used leftover materials and admittedly, at the time of the work, knew they never had enough materials to do the job right, they are now adamant that it is the land base that is the problem and the only way to fix things would be to dig up and replace the entire parking lot. Well, I have pictures showing how poorly the job was completed. Their attitude is to continue to make lame excuses with no real technical basis and just blow me off. Very UNPROFESSIONAL, POOR WOWORKMANSHIP, Cuts corners,.e. using leftovers to try and squeeze out a cheap job, and refusal to honor a verbal contract/guarantee of customer satisfaction. They may be a great company if you contract for a big job, but don't pay them until YOU are satisfied or you will never get what you expected.

CThe drive way looks fine, but the customer service left something to be desired. They did not communicate fees associated with the service, did not respond to requests we made about leaving fill, left a piece of concrete next to the driveway and left cigarette butts in the lawn. When I got the initial quote I was initially impressed with the customer service, I am disappointed to say this was not followed through in our whole experience.
