Servicemen opened the front doors on a brand new car to use as a ladder up and scratched the paint on both sides of car. BEWARE! The so-called "Warranty" is a bogus lie. They refuse to acknowledge they were entirely responsible for the damage. Go to a real bodyshop where the professionals are.

They would not put my inspection sticker back on the windshield and they said that it was illegal for them to do that. They were very timely, quick, and efficient. My only problem was with the sticker.

Broke my car! TWICE!! My insurance company referred me to this shop to fix a broken rear side window on my BMW X1. When I brought it in (May 9th, 2015), the technician had trouble fixing it, and after about three hours, came and said that the window was fixed, but the door latch was broken. He said BMW built the car in such a way that it broke when he made the repair. They told me to return the following Saturday (without an appt.) and they'd repair the door. The following Saturday, a different technician asked me if I had an appt. I repeated what the issue was and what the original repair tech had told me. After a short time, the new technician returned and said the door handle was never broken; the first technician just hadn't attached it correctly. However, a piece was missing from the power window module. He showed me two modules, one with the piece in it, and the one that was missing a piece. He insinuated that BMW must have left it out, because the original tech would have no reason to mess with the power window module. I told him the window has worked fine for the last two years, and that the other tech probably lost it. I suggested he take a look in the repair bay to see if it was lying around. He returned and said no. I then went home and called the Safelite headquarters, where "executive services" said they were sorry, and that a tech would come the following Saturday (May 23rd) to my home to fix it. Saturday came, and I called in the morning to confirm they were coming, because I didn't have a time given to me. The shop said they would come in the afternoon, and confirmed my address. They never showed. Today, (May 26th) I called and asked if they were planning to come today. The shop gal said yes, they'd come this afternoon. I asked if it was their policy to not show up and not call, and she said, no, and she would call the boss. I got back in touch with my insurance company to let them know about the poor and incompetent service. They then called "executive services" at Safelite headquarters, who said the shop told them they were NOT coming today, that I was not on the schedule either today or last Saturday. They said I should go to the BMW dealer, get a written estimate, and the repair shop would cut me a check for the amount. I called the local shop and the warehouse guy (who answered) checked with the shop, and said I was supposed to get an estimate, and they would order the part and repair it. Really? Like I'm going to trust these incompetent, dishonest bozos to order it and make the repair? I don't think so. Can't wait to see what happens when I bring in the estimate! UPDATE: I wrote a letter to the CEO, Tom Feeney. A woman from his office called the day they got the letter. He was on vacation, but she assured me he would be informed. She offered to contact my BMW dealer and work out the payment between them, so I wouldn't have the hassle of going back to the Vestal store to try and get reimbursed. True to her word, she spoke to my service guy and arranged payment. I had great response and service from the CEO's office. I just wish I didn't have to escalate it to that level to get decent service!
