Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • As the name states, this is First an Urgent care and Second a Primary care facility with 2 Doctors and 4 staff on the day of my visit. Realize and accept this fact as you choose this practice, for there will be times of long waiting periods. This is a Family run Practice, with Family values very much at the core and whose staff I appreciate, very much. Should you be there for Rheumatological care, as I was, Dr, Dipti Bhoiwala is knowledgeable, open minded, a patient listener, thoroughly explains options and very easy to work with. An important suggestion: It helps to be prepared by having as much of your own documentation and medical reports with you as possible.

  • Test results came in that showed damage and I needed to stop taking the drug immediately. They did not notify me anything was wrong. I had to call repeatedly and was refused the test results. They even refused to release the results to my primary care doctor. I unknowingly took my medication daily as required. After weeks of fighting I got the results, my liver was damaged and unnecessarily further damage was done.

  • Went to Sake Japanese Steakhouse in Latham for the first time to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday. Fourteen  relatives attended. Very clean with nice decor, average prices. We were seated at the hibachi table immediately upon our arrival and drink orders were taken promptly. I ordered a scotch straight up with just a splash of ginger ale, rocks on the side. My drink arrived in about a 10 ounce sized glass, 2/3 full. The color looked just like ginger ale and tasted about 90% like ginger ale. I informed the waitress that this drink was incorrect with way too much ginger ale. She said, "I pushed the button for a splash."  Pushed the button, isn't there a bartender? The waitress not only did not give me a correct drink; she also charged me for this one. I ordered from the dinner menu, not the hibachi menu; filet mignon with rice and vegetables. The vegetables were great, very fresh. The meat was two pieces of some sort of steak, with a pale pink slice of tomato between them as if to appear as filet mignon. This was definitely not filet mignon. My granddaughter liked the sushi and fried eel. Kevin, the hibachi chef was delightful, very funny and entertaining. My daughter brought a birthday cake with her and was told the staff would cut slices for us. The same waitress cut the cake with a long thin knife which she attempted to use as a cake server.  Each piece of this beautiful cake was plated in mangled sections which were enormous. My granddaughter's aunt came to assist the waiter and attempted to cut each broken piece in half.
I don't think this waitress has ever cut a cake before. The restaurant should have declined  cutting the cake if they lacked  the correct implement and experience. Due to the problem with my drink order and the lack of reimbursement and the false presentation of filet mignon; I would not recommend Sake japanese Steakhouse and will not ever be returning there.

  • They seem to be a pretty well run outfit. The wait time is reasonable and they haven't made any mistakes for us. They have facilities around the area and usually they have accessibility to most of the major hospitals.

  • My provider was Kristen Santos and I wanted to make an appointment because I was pregnant (1st trimester) and I had a high fever and a bad throat. I know for a fact they if you have a fever of 100 f and more you need to see a doctor when you are pregnant( mine was 101). So I called the office for emergency appointment and all they told me is that it's probably a viral infection and there is no need to see a doctor. And I told them I'm pregnant and I'm scared of complications but it was not convincing for them at all. So I almost forced them to see me that day. I find it unprofessional and careless for them to treat me that way. Plus before I had an experience with Kristen Santos giving me medicine that has tons of horrible side effects that she didn't find important to mention to me. I found out about them from the pharmacist. With all that said I changed my provider and I would never recommend her as a good professional.

  • Very well. My previous doctor died a week before my scheduled annual exam. I had to find a new one and I was very satisfied with the visit. He has a good bedside manner and makes me feel he's competent and knowledgable. Also, my primary care doctor is with the same practice so all my records were already available.

  • Dr. Hyuck was very kind and explained things well. His staff were very friendly. I arrived when the office first open and the check-in process was quick and efficient. I was brought back to an exam room less than 10 minutes after my appointment start time and waited only a few minutes for Dr. Hyuck, who listened patiently and ordered a battery of follow up tests and diagnostic procedures. I look forward to my followup visit.

  • This was a followup appointment after having one kidney stone removed and another treated with ultrasound in 2012.This appointment was to make sure the
remnants of the 2nd stone had passed OK. I have been seeing Dr. Beer off and on for over 10 years. He and his staff are the best!

  • They are the best in the area and I have never seen anyone who is as attentive to detail as they are. They spend time with me right from the surgeon to his personal assistant and ask me questions. The doctor who was supposed to take my appointment apologized three times to me since she was ten minutes late for it which no one actually does.

  • We have used him for three years. He is very thorough. He is very down to earth. I trust him with any questions that I have. My experience with him has been exceptional. He is easy to talk to. He knows the stuff. He definitely knows what he is doing. Entire staff is very friendly and helpful. I will continue to use him in the future.
